16/03/2025: Ho trovato l'offerta su thefork ed ho prenotato a pranzo. Il locale è stile anni 80 con molte cianfrusaglie all'interno però siamo stati molto bene,dovevamo fare un pranzetto al volo quindi non ho fatto caso a ciò che dicevano le recensioni. Ma l'odore di sporco e di vecchio non si è sentito. Comunque il menù è bello e della tradizione toscana. Il servizio è veloce niènte da dire. Pure la proprietaria è molto simpatica mostrandoci la sala/pub dedicata al mondo vespa. Prezzi onesti e porzioni adeguate. Grazie sonto del 20% con thefork. Se ripasserò in zona certo che mi fermerò. Pici buonissimi e fiorentina eccezionale

16/03/2025: Very particular location, where it is possible to eat inside historic cars. The atmosphere is that of a historic inn, in whose corners there are countless historical objects. Dinner was pleasant The mixed platter was good, although a little expensive given the quantities The first ones arrived quickly, but perhaps the flavor of the cream was too persistent in the cream The second course of meat was very soft and melted in the mouth Good potatoes and wine

16/03/2025: Posto che vale una visita. Molto carina la sala. Ottima l'accoglienza. Piatti molto buoni anche se, almeno per me, migliorabili: avrei preferito dei pici un po' più al dente ed un cinghiale in umido meno duro. Ma siamo stati bene, benissimo. E quindi va bene così. Prezzo in linea con il luogo.

31/12/2024: Ci troviamo immersi nel cuore della Val D’orcia, panorama mozzafiato e location molto curata con staff gentile e non invadente. Piatti ben curati e abbondanti, qualità top.. Una meta consigliata 🔝

15/02/2025: Avevo letto le recensioni positive e mi ero incuriosito. Poi arrivando in questo paesino ormai periferia di Montalcino, si fatica a credere quale valore si trovi entrando al primo piano al ristorante. Accolti dal Sig Gianluca in un ristorante piccolo ma curatissimo e con tavoli sufficientemente distanziati, ho fatto la cosa migliore che potessi fare: farmi guidare da lui stesso in un mini percorso culinario. Aperitivo antipasto e primi, tartare di chianina, finocchiona con pecorino e miele, crostino al pesto di pomodori secchi e freschi, crostini con fegatini.. sublimi, primi: tagliolini con cavolo cappuccio cavolo nero e Pomodorini secchi, pici all Ombelico del mondo al sugo di salsiccia cotti al dente pasta speciale un piatto che lascia senza fiato davvero ( scarpetta obbligatoria) Una selezione di vini rossi ottimi, e il dolce, cantuccini con crema appena fatta..e un salame di cioccolato con riso soffiato.....che dire..niente foto non ho fatto in tempo..ci siamo goduti il momento esterrefatti da tanta qualitá e sapori, non costretti in porzioni ridicole ma porzioni degne. Siamo stati fortunati a godere della presenza quasi esclusiva del Sig Gianluca in una giornata ed un orario poco affollato, della sua esperienza, delle sue spiegazioni e dei sui aneddoti. Una convivialità e un pranzo davvero speciali. Grazie grazie grazie! Consigliato assolutamente.

10/02/2025: Nel regno di Sua Maestà "la bollicina"...in casa dell'Oste Gianluca Monaci, Gran Cavaliere dello Champagne: momento di alto godimento. Cucina nostrale, sapori di una volta, della nonna, materia prima a km zero, gusti genuini...esaltati da vini di gran pregio, da una cantina con etichette prestigiose ma non solo...bollicine, italiane, francesi e rossi di struttura. Cortesia, gentilezza, professionalità e tanta simpatia e buonumore da parte di tutto lo staff. Lasciatevi guidare ed accompagnare per mano dal Mastro Oste in un viaggio sensoriale molto particolare. Consigliatissimo.

02/11/2024: Fantastic confectionery experience. We were on holiday for a few days near Castiglione d'Orcia and discovered this fantastic pastry shop. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent quality products. Well done and congratulations again for what you create. I recommend brioches, donuts, bread of saints, cavallucci and much more.

26/08/2024: One of the best holidays that we have ever had as a family.Patrizia is an absolutely delightful hostess ;the food was amazing and the villa is perfect.The decoration, quality of bathroom fittings,beds and furniture is top rate without being over the top and one immediately feels relaxed and at home.A haven in the countryside but still easy to visit the tourist spots if you can drag yourself away from paradise

12/04/2025: Aesthetically well-finished dishes. Quality ingredients. Friendly and attentive staff. Breathtaking view. Only note I would increase the portions of the dishes a bit. Recommended.

08/04/2025: The view was amazing. The dining room was beautiful apart from that the only music we got was the hip hop from the kitchen. Service was okay, could better check if the food was okay after served. The food was horrible especially for the price. The beef dish we ordered was very very tough. We ordered medium for the doneness, received something closer to rare. Was hard to cut with the knife, impossible to chew it, literally had to spit it out. We let the staff know when he came to clear to plate, which was the only time a staff was presence after the food was served, but no action was taken.

22/03/2025: Farmhouse appearance, but with the soul of a large hotel. Very nice environment, but the vibes are of a commercial place and driven by finance rather than by the desire to host. Many cheap and poorly looked after solutions; small things, which however make themselves felt: the double mattress which is actually two singles pushed together, the windowless bathroom with a faulty fan, the blocked shower siphon, poorly thought-out furnishings and the feeling of battery-built rooms. Nothing terrible, but not excellent either, similar goes for the food.

14/03/2025: We eat very well. You can eat fish, meat or pizza. We usually get fish. Tonight we took: 1 hot and cold fish starter 2 paccheri with octopus and squid 1 fried fish 1 fish potato 1/2 house white wine 1 water 1Coffee 1Bitter We spent €80. There is a car park.
