We spent four days in Colle di Val D'Elsa and ate at various standard/mid-range restaurants. Compared to the other restaurants, the average lower rating is surprising. The food tastes great, balsamic vinegar is served with the salad (unlike at a more upscale and better-rated restaurant), the service is friendly and attentive, and the dishes are reasonably priced. A notable difference compared to several other restaurants in Menaggio, Prato, and Colle di Val D'Elsa: here, fresh bread is served with the cuperto (a traditional Hessian dish) instead of tasteless, dry bread! The terrace offers a lovely view of old Colle di Val D'Elsa. I only have to deduct one star for the interior, as it has a hall-like atmosphere and is relatively noisy.

It is an absolute crime with this fine establishment has less than five stars. It’s amazing one of the best pizzas I ever had one of the best desserts I ever had. Also they have like 18 desserts seabass was incredible as well. One of the rarest restaurants I ever been in

Excellent food, impeccable service!!! The best is the dessert... THE BABÀ is not a dessert but an emotion!!! For me it is a spectacle!!!!! Well done, keep it up!

Italian Americans from NYC here; we fell in love with Torrione and the family that owns it. In our 5 days in Tuscany staying at Palazzo San Lorenzo we came here 3 times. It is by far the most reasonably priced restaurant in the area, and we had a life-changing pizza (it had fresh mozz di búfala, Tuscan sausage & fried eggplant). Ignore the dumb things people said in other reviews, if you like good home cooking at a good price come here.

We've been to Il Torrione both on a weekday and on a Saturday when the restaurant was full. The friendliness, hospitality, and customer service from the staff were always top-notch. Both the dishes and the pizza, which was very tasty and light, left everyone extremely satisfied and satisfied. Highly recommended.

The pizza and pasta are very good, though the toppings could be better measured. But everything is good. The interior is a bit cold, perhaps because of the large windows.

05/07/2026: We stayed at this hotel for one night after a day exploring the Assisi area. We were given the opportunity to dine in the restaurant opposite the hotel, and we had a wonderful time: the parmigiana with the typical Cannara onions was a must-try! The rooms are very charming and offer all the comforts you could need. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home. The spa, for couples, is a bargain and includes a Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, and sauna. It's highly recommended after a day of constant walking, especially with one of the excellent herbal teas provided. Breakfast features many local artisanal products; although not a huge selection, I found it very good and well-prepared. In short, if you want to unwind, escape the chaos of the city, and dine with a beautiful view of the Umbrian hills, you've come to the right place.

04/05/2026: Years ago, I accidentally stumbled upon it on a motorcycle ride, and I returned on May 1st. Even though the restaurant was packed, we ate wonderfully, confirming my memories. The traditional first courses were delicious, and the tartare al taglio (a traditional Italian pasta dish) was divine. I'll gladly return.
24/04/2026: Definitely worth a try! I stopped in for lunch during my work break. The service was excellent and the food was truly delicious (the most tender lamb I've ever eaten!) The view was unforgettable on this spring day. I think I'll be back with my family.
