16/03/2025: We returned to eat at Osteria del Leone and for us it was confirmed as the best restaurant in the area. We started with appetizers of hand-cut ham and pate with exquisite pa brioche made by them. Then to follow pici with garlic, cacio e pepe and their carbonara which is truly Top! Then among the specials we took the pork chop cooked at low temperature and the truly special mullets stuffed with smoked provola and fried. To close on all the delicious desserts, a special mention for the buffalo ricotta ice cream with sour cherries which was truly incredible. Fast and kind service. Wine list for connoisseurs with a wide selection of labels and prices. We will definitely return on our next visit to Siena. Well done!

04/03/2025: Siamo stati a cena da voi, io e la mia compagna, e siamo rimasti davvero colpiti dalla qualità dei vostri piatti. Ho iniziato con il prosciutto di cinta senese tagliato al coltello: semplicemente delizioso, con un grasso che si scioglieva in bocca. Lei ha scelto il carciofo alla giudia, asciutto e saporito, cucinato alla perfezione. Come primo, ho provato i pici tirati a mano con sugo di lepre: fantastici, con un sapore intenso e ben equilibrato. Lei ha optato per le pappardelle ai funghi porcini, che si sentiva fossero fatte a mano con grande cura. Abbiamo concluso con il loro tiramisù, il finale perfetto per una cena davvero riuscita. Il conto è stato più che giusto per la qualità e la quantità dei piatti. Ci tornerei molto volentieri!

25/03/2025: An authentic Spanish experience This Spanish restaurant won me and my friends over with an irresistible tapas and seafood appetizer. Juicy prawns, tender octopus, tasty beans and crispy patatas bravas are paired with a delicious fruit-filled sangria. The perfect bread to accompany the sauces completes the experience. A welcoming atmosphere and authentic flavors: a trip to Spain without taking a plane!

28/02/2025: È la seconda volta che vengo in questo.locale e anche questa sera abbiamo mangiato un'ottima pizza, sottile e croccante proprio come piace a me, ed un'altrettanto ottima birra alla spina. Buoni anche i dolci, crema catalana e mille foglie alla crema con gocce di cioccolato. Prezzi buoni La prossima volta proveremo il pesce che da quanto abbiamo potuto vedere intorno deve essere molto buono.

23/03/2025: We set outside, for lunch. The service was great and welcoming. For starters we took the anchovies and salty cheese cake. Both were generous and very good. After that we had the gnocchi with truffles that was tasty and well presented and the ossobuco which was good but side is extra charged and was plane and not generous. We took the waiter’s advice for wine and it wasn’t a great wine, just ok.

20/03/2025: If you are planning a visit to Siena , this is a great spot, not to be missed. Had a fantastic lunch. Mostly locals in a lovely family run historic site. It is beautiful inside the food is incredible. We had the vegetarian tasting menu. The handmade "pici pasta" is wow. It came with two different small veg souffles and homemade bean stew . The cheese cake is the best ever . The place is only 5 minutes from the Duomo on a little side street. We'll worth the search. Reservation suggested

04/01/2025: I have celiac disease and in this pizzeria I ate exceptional pizza and amazing gluten free fried foods without mentioning the goodness of the Neapolitan pastiera but the thing that left me speechless is the attention they have for people with celiac disease. Thank you

30/03/2025: A corner of England: if you love afternoon tea like me, you shouldn't miss the menu prepared for afternoon tea. A wide choice of teas, cucumber sandwiches, canapés, scones with jam and cream, various biscuits and dessert to finish. A superlative experience at a very low cost. The teapot is refilled every time you need more tea at no additional cost. The environment is relaxing and the sunlight that enters through the windows makes the place, already beautiful in itself, even more poetic. The service is precise, attentive, friendly. And in the bathroom there is a sign that will make you laugh while you pee. What to add: I can't wait to return for brunch!

02/03/2025: Already famous for an amazing selection of craft beers, the other pleasure at Bottega Matta is Mamma in the kitchen making the truly traditional dishes of the zone. Silvio is the maestro of beers and has won me over with different tastes every time (and I go often!). Don't miss this treasure, just 5 minutes from Montepulciano.

26/12/2024: An amazing place with a fantastic owner! I think we'll meet again next Boxing Day. Even my little girls tasted the wonderful beers and we all came out singing.

16/03/2025: 27 years ago I was on holiday here with my parents. I was here in 2023, today I was back with the truck for the weekend. Super good food with friendly staff and at a reasonable price. I hope I can come again.

However, the service was disappointing from start to finish. Orders were taken inefficiently, and the wait for the food was noticeably long. When the dishes finally arrived, the execution of the service fell short—particularly with the Fiorentina steak, which was poorly cut, taking away from the experience of enjoying such a premium dish. If the restaurant improves its service standards, it could truly live up to its potential.

07/04/2025: Delicious pizza, friendly service and a generous glass of wine. Visited again the next day, warm welcome. It is possible to get menu requests that are not on the menu. It was delicious and this restaurant is highly recommended.

30/03/2025: Locale molto accogliente; titolari e personale professionali e gentili; pizza, antipasti, secondi e dolci molto buoni, i primi li preferisco meno (è un mio gusto) ma nel complesso è un locale molto buono.

01/02/2025: Personale gentile e disponibile. Purtroppo chiediamo una tagliata ma non è disponibile quindi ci adattiamo e scegliamo altro. Riescono a recuperare solo 1 filetto per me (nulla di che ma ho apprezzato). Concordo come contorno dei cavoletti ma accanto alla carne arrivano patate, 1 tortino di verdure, 1 tornino di patate, 2 carotine baby, 1 cipolla e 2 (2 di numero) cavoletti … Ho chiesto un secondo ed un semplice contorno di cavoletti ma perché - mi chiedo - mi portate solo 2 cavoletti e cose che non ho chiesto e che non potevo mangiare (le ha mangiate mio marito). Ascoltate il cliente … non pensate ai piatti decorativi. Se il cliente vuole una cosa e l’avete, portate quella.
