16/08/2024: Every dish is magic, at Babazuf. Every time I return to Siena I always make an appointment with Marco and it is always a very pleasant welcome. You can taste typical dishes of the local tradition, made with high quality ingredients. But also original proposals and renewed flavours. Large and colorful place, with both internal and external tables, overlooking the street. For an evening of joy and taste Babazuf is the right place 😉

Ecco, abbiamo mangiato così bene che personalmente ho dovuto abbracciare la responsabile di sala per ringraziarla di quanto eravamo stati bene . E credetemi , tutto ciò, non mi capita spesso . Se mai tornassi a Siena vedo di prenotare per tempo. Grazie ancora.

On the one hand, you found peace and quiet in this small, secluded mountain village in the middle of the vineyards and forests - perfect for relaxing away from the turbulent flow of tourists. On the other hand, it is so cleverly located that you can easily visit Arezzo, Siena (and perhaps Florence) on day trips if you want, and there are plenty of other destinations. La Canonica has been extremely tastefully renovated, everything is very clean. Breakfast is very good. The two hosts are extremely nice and accommodating, explain everything in detail, and are happy to take the time for a little chat when it's convenient. If there is the opportunity to take part in an evening or lunch menu cooked by them, and definitely take part - certainly one of the tasty dinners that we were able to enjoy on our trip to Tuscany.
