07/04/2026: La Chiusa was an amazing place for vacation. Extremely relaxing, and the service was great. The staff worked with me leading up to the trip to plan a great itinerary. I highly recommend the ATV tour and the cooking class. The views are gorgeous.
12/01/2026: We had an amazing time at La Chuisa, being very new to Italy, the staff were very helpful, especially Andrea who went above and beyond to look after us. The views and location amazing! Close to the little village of Montefellonico.
The cooking class with Nonna was so memorable!
Our only issues was when we called the hotel for assistance and couldn’t get a hold of them a couple of times, Also no tea and coffee in the room.

11/04/2026: A great place to spend an evening with friends. Relaxing, fun, and carefree. We had a great time. We started out a bit crowded, but the music quickly put us at ease and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was good. Great value.

19/04/2026: We stayed at this splendid property for a weekend getaway.
The location is simply stunning, surrounded by nature.
Angela's welcome was very warm and she gave us lots of great advice on what to do in the area (we had booked a Vespa tour with them and visited Montepulciano and Pienza, both just a dozen minutes away from the agriturismo).
We booked the Honey room, spacious and with a giant whirlpool tub and shower! We were also impressed by the impeccable cleanliness!
We also tried the restaurant, which offers traditional Sienese dishes and strictly handmade pasta. Kudos to the wait staff (the maitre d' and the hostess, whose names we unfortunately don't know) who were incredibly helpful and kind.
Last but not least, the property's mascots:
Tigger the kitten, super cuddly;
Camilla the goat, who ran up to us as soon as she saw us and gave us a mouthful!
We'll definitely be back! Thanks again for pampering us!

17/04/2026: My stay at the Belagaggio farmhouse was simply unforgettable.
The property was welcoming and meticulously maintained, with comfortable rooms and a rustic yet elegant style. Some rooms even have a spa.
One of the aspects I appreciated most was the cuisine: typical Tuscan dishes, accompanied by the excellent wine they produce. Pici al ragù was top-notch. I recommend everyone to try it.
The family who runs the farmhouse was very kind and welcoming. Thanks to them, I felt right at home.
I highly recommend everyone to visit this place right in the heart of Tuscany.
I would love to go back!

Hotel La Piccola Stazione

01/10/2025: Small hotel outside the historic center, but in an excellent location, close to the train station, a large supermarket, and ample parking.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Spacious and clean room with TV and minibar stocked with complimentary water.
Bathroom with shower, window, hairdryer, towels, and soap.
The first two floors are accessible by elevator, while the third floor is accessed by stairs from the second floor.
A key to the front door is provided, so you can come and go at any time.
One afternoon it rained, but we spent it peacefully in the comfortable lounge with TV.
Breakfast is varied, sweet and savory, and good. The only flaw is the lack of a buffet table; you have to ask for what you want and it is brought to your table directly from the kitchen.
A positive experience, recommended.

01/01/2026: For New Year's Eve, I ordered a roast ocio, confident it would be excellent, knowing the owner. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed because the meat was tough, undercooked, and almost smelled bad. It also made a bad impression on the guests. I will never go back there again.

Traditional Tuscan food well made with excellent ingredients. We had the truffle mushroom pasta and the Florentine steak.

21/10/2025: Food and service were outstanding. Not to mention the stunning view. My husband and I went there for a coffee at first and the staff was so lovely we decided to go back for brunch. After that we went back for dinner. We just couldn't get enough of this place. We had a 3 weeks vacation driving around Italy and our experience at Terraza was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The dinner we had was comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. Andrea and Nico were lovely and offered impeccable service. Looking forward to my next Lake Como trip.

03/08/2025: Su especialidad es Tagliatelle que se baña en un trozo circular de pecorino. Deliciosa comida y espacio cubierto al aire libre.
05/07/2025: El mismo día que llegamos a la Toscana decidimos ir a un restaurante cercano recomendado por el hotel. Llegamos al establecimiento donde mi hija de 11 años (que habla Italiano con fluidez) se adelantó y preguntó si podían hospedarnos a los 4.
El anfitrión inmediatamente comenzó a maltratarla, en voz muy alta, preguntándole si no era capaz de levantar el teléfono y llamar para solicitar una reserva, entre otras ofensas. Se aseguró de que todo el restaurante pudiera escucharlo e incluso después de que salimos del restaurante pudimos escucharlo haciendo bromas sobre nosotros y los clientes riendo.
Seamos claros aquí: si logras ser cruel con un niño, no es un rasgo de personalidad ni tampoco se trata de que no te importe lo que piensen los demás. ES SIMPLEMENTE CRUEL Y MALVADO. Y los clientes que se ríen son igual de malos.
Por lo tanto, te sugiero que si lees este post y estás en Montefollonico evites este restaurante o, si lo prefieres, pases por allí, pidas una mesa y cuando te traten mal respondas en el buen y viejo Italiano: VAFFAN… C. U. ¡¡¡L.O!! !! !

01/06/2025: Da wir am Nachmittag essen wollten, fanden wir endlich dieses Lokal. Insgesamt war es gut, die Selbstanpreisung der Familie erfüllte die Ankündigung nicht. Nach einer Woche Toskana ist der Bogen des Angebotes erschöpft. Freundlich und schön im Garten zu sitzen. Da ist es egal, wie lange es dauert…

04/01/2025: Carne di qualità. il filetto alle macine era ottimo (servito con rucola e salsa tartufata). Buona anche la bistecca (abbondante) e la tagliata. Dolci nella media. Prezzi buoni.

Per esperienza diretta e per testimonianza di molti amici abitanti a Montepulciano e dintorni, posso assicurare che per qualità dei piatti si tratta della migliore trattoria in un raggio di alcune decine di kilometri.

Ristorante Pizzeria Piccolo

01/01/2025: Ero stata a cena in questo ristorante un paio di volte mangiando sempre bene soprattutto i piatti di pesce quindi quando ho visto il menù per l'ultimo dell'anno non ho esitato a prenotare. Purtroppo la cena si è rivelata pessima, piatti insapore, pasta scotta, pici che dovevano essere in crema di finocchi e cozze serviti senza alcun condimento e papposi, dolce ridicolo un bicchiere di crema, che sinceramente era fatta anche bene, servita con un mini triangolo di pandoro, in pratica un bicchiere di crema da mangiare senza niente, ovviamente impossibile e stucchevole. Ok, il prezzo della cena era contenuto ma questo non è un buon motivo per cucinare male. Inoltre il locale era freddo e c'era corrente d'aria, capirete che la sera di S. Silvestro le signore con gli abiti da sera hanno sofferto il freddo tutta la sera.
Che peccato!
13/11/2024: Il locale dispone di una terrazza panoramica. L’interno è un po’ anonimo e scarno. Menu vario e interessante, servizio accurato e cordiale. Ottimi i pigi al ragù bianco e il tortino di zucca. Pessima la tagliata al pepe verde, fredda e dura, immangiabile. È stata però tolta dal conto. Insufficiente il tiramisù.
