Cozy restaurant in the center, the staff was immediately welcoming and friendly, the service was fast and the dishes were excellent. Absolutely recommended!

We went here for lunch with our two little boys on Easter Monday. The food was tasty, not exceptional, but delicious. Portions a little small and a little more expensive than in direct comparison with restaurants in the immediate area. But the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was simply fantastically Tuscan! It was raining during our visit, but we enjoyed the view of the beautiful courtyard from inside. We would come again.

We went for lunch on Easter Sunday. Very nice restaurant and very friendly staff. Chef Patrick, an exquisite person, passed between the tables to say hello and presented us with a jar of delicious jam. Spectacular dishes and very well presented, top desserts. Impeccable service, highly recommended.

The peposo (typical medieval dish) is incredibly good. Grappa di Vernaccia (typical) is equally so, the name of this vine is undoubtedly of Roman origin and would indicate a "vernacula" grape, that is, a local grape. The first news of this Tuscan vine dates back to 1276, when the Municipality of San Gimignano (today in the province of Siena) established a tax of 3 pennies on the entry and exit of Vernaccia from its borders.

The I Quattro Gatti restaurant in San Gimignano is an authentic culinary paradise nestled among the ancient streets of this charming Tuscan town. I had the pleasure of discovering it during a visit to San Gimignano and I must say that it was a real stroke of luck, given the wide gastronomic offer that the village offers! From the moment I crossed the threshold, I could perceive a unique, welcoming and familiar atmosphere. The environment is elegant but at the same time informal, with a touch of rusticity that blends perfectly with the historical character of the city. Our table was on the terrace and I highly recommend booking and specifically asking for a table outside, on spring days it's really the best! The dishes offered are a true homage to the Tuscan culinary tradition, prepared with excellent, high-quality ingredients. Although we limited ourselves to a second course each, we had the opportunity to taste a typical and traditional cross-section of this land: peposo, a truly extraordinary spiced stewed beef stew and a cut with truffles! Very good! To finish cantucci and vin santo, a worthy finale to an excellent lunch. The bill was absolutely fair, the staff, courteous and professional, welcomed us with a warm smile and guided us through a very typical gastronomic journey that far exceeded our expectations.

Had the Safron Ravioli. Excellent. Good service and a lovely environment out on the patio with a great view of the county side.

Very nice and welcoming restaurant, also equipped with a terrace with a beautiful view. Excellent cuisine and very kind staff accompany an excellent lunch, in line with the prices. Delicious appetizers and first courses, delicious cheesecake!

This is a food that deserves coming back to San Gimignano. We had just another pasta instead desert! I wish I could eat more 😄
