We ended out 8 day trek in BUONCONVENTO and couldn’t not have found a better place to have a celebratory meal, it was clearly one of the best meals we had during our two weeks in Italy. The chicken liver app was out of this world as were the shrimp tempura. For our main, their pasta special was extraordinary. They paid special attention to our gluten and diary allergies. A really special evening.

This was more than a restaurant. It was a total culinary experience. To find a restaurant like this in a tiny town like Buonoconvento was shocking.
The food was amazing. We had the Seafood pasta, ragu and spinach ravioli. The wine service and desert were fantastic. The most impressive aspect was the staff's commitment to making sure diners had what they needed. Multiple servers teamed up to make the whole experience perfect. We were never rushed even though we were the last people in the restaurant that night. We were in Italy for 12 days. This was our best meal and we had some great ones. Don't miss this place.
The only reservations are taken via telephone. Learn a few Italian phrases and make the call. You will not regret it!

Excellent osteria and wine bar! I highly recommend it! The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed, with friendly, attentive, and fast staff. You can enjoy traditional Tuscan homemade products along with some seafood dishes, all delicious. A special mention goes to the melt-in-your-mouth stew and the perfect fried foods. We ate inside, but there are also tables outside. A wide selection of wines. Try it, and you'll thank me!

This restaurant is definitely not a tavern, but rather a busier one. Service is prompt. Prices are higher than others. The quality is certainly high, and it's more expensive.

Homemade food, very well prepared, delicious pasta with truffle, nothing fancy or extravagant. For starters, we also had a cream of onion soup (a rich and interesting dish), followed by a delicious meat pie.
The prices are moderate given the quality and preparation (3 courses, water, coffee, and cover charge for €60), and the quality is certainly high.
