04/04/2024: Not a huge place but very well looked after both for the furnishings and the products they offer, the cheesecake and biscuits are excellent. Professional staff and prices on average with the type. Unfortunately, the location overlooks a very busy road with always long queues of cars but the place is well soundproofed.

03/03/2024: Last night I returned to this restaurant after a year, where I had already been several times. I found the same friendliness and welcome, even if the management has probably changed. The service was already good before, now it's a little more elegant and the staff are still friendly and welcoming. The food was very good, dishes with the right portions and made with passion, the prices have increased a little but the first and second courses are still average, the starters are a little expensive compared to the rest. You can find not only classic Tuscan dishes but also something special with that extra pinch of creativity! The exceptional salted caramel dessert! The cut is average. Once I got home, I wanted to see the receipt from whoever had offered dinner, because the total seemed a little high to me. I was truly DISAPPOINTED!!! We asked to bring us the appetizer (there were 3 of us) with 4/5 hot crostini instead of mixed with cured meats. We were brought two small plates with 3 crostini each (ATTENTION not Crostoni, but crostini! So half a slice of bread, 1 liver, 1 onion and cheese, 1 soppressata salad) and 2 complete plates of starters were calculated at 18 euros the One. Now I understand the variation, but I would have liked to have been told that for 6 crostini two complete appetizers would have been calculated when ordering!!! In short, nice place, good food, welcoming, but I believe that clarity on certain things makes the difference in a restaurateur, and it's okay that prices have now been raised everywhere, but more transparency towards the customer is needed. And not all customers have the nerve to dispute situations of this type I probably won't go back again, as much as I regret it.

26/03/2024: While passing through on our way home, we went to this "tavern" for lunch, partly to joke with the name of the place, but it's anything but that. Very nice and familiar location, every detail of the furnishings deserves attention. Spectacular food, best of 3 day trip. We had 2 lasagna and some veal with tuna sauce, spending little, high quality and very generous doses. Very friendly and kind staff. We will definitely be back
