Truly top class. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We have eaten here many times when we visit Tuscany. We are so so happy to have found this place it really is the top restaurant in the area. We always take our guests and they always love it too.
The food is fantastic, beautifully cooked and presented. The recipes are more innovative than the norm. It is worth saving room for dessert. They’ve got a wonderful selection of local wines too.
The owner and the staff are friendly and helpful. They do speak English (the menu is also included in English).
I recommend a reservation.

If you are in Tuscany (in any corner of it!) the AntoniMax restaurant, in Castelnuovo Berardenga in Chianti, is an obligatory stop. You could even end up in Tuscany just to eat here: the perfect balance between experimentation and tradition, with selected products of the highest quality, expertly combined to offer an unforgettable experience.
The simplicity of the tastes of the past combined with the creativity of contemporary cuisine. Excellent value for money. Extraordinary!

My second visit to AntoniMax.
The food is excellent and creative, something you would experience in a Michelin star restaurant. Service is impeccable. The restaurant is in this wonderful small town that invites you to a stroll before or after dinner.
Max's wine recommendations with the meal were spot on, and he has some really great local wines in his impressive selection, at very reasonable prices
AntoniMax is a restaurant you need to experience when you are in the Siena region, if you are looking for creative Tuscan food with a personal touch.

Senza dubbio una delle cene più buone fatte ultimamente al ristorante, bellissimo locale con tavoli sia al chiuso che esterni; molto curato, servizio perfetto e piatti della tradizione buonissimi presentati in maniera eccezionale!! Tutto buonissimo dalla tartare, alle tagliatelle con ragù di cinta e funghi e per finire medaglione di cinta senese cotto perfettamente
