11/05/2026: A wonderful surprise. Everything was excellent: exceptional soup, tender pork with pears, traditional dishes in a family-run restaurant.

10/05/2026: Quality, originality, typical of the place, and just the right amount of dishes, professionalism, courtesy, and attention to the dishes and the customers, even when they're busy on Sunday lunchtime. They bring you water and bread without you asking where, even when full, they ask if everything was okay or if you'd like anything else. They take care in what they cook and who they cook it for. You can drink good wine and an excellent local amaro. The waiters do their job with professionalism and love, because serving customers isn't easy, and the environment and work atmosphere help a lot. I'll definitely be back.

My wife's and daughter's pasta dishes were both excellent, but I must recommend the fillet, which was perfect. All this in a pleasant atmosphere, with a beautiful view and very friendly service. 28/06/2026: Authenticity, passion, Made in Montalcino!!! June 2026 True Italianness and local specialties. Usually, in historic and crowded places you find touristy places, but here you can savor authentic flavors, cooked with care and passion. The place and the flavors took me back in time, to my childhood. It's hard to find places as authentic and cared for as these these days, from the evocative retro location to the fresh flowers on the table. As for the food, what can I say? 10 out of 10. We had two first courses, a pinci with wild boar and tagliolini with nettle and arugula pesto, and for the second course, a guinea fowl with vin santo and a sliced ​​steak. 13/06/2026: Meat served on a cold wooden board, various wines offered on the menu but not in the cellar. However, on the fourth bottle of wine, the cork has a problem and the opening is hidden. We are offered a tasting with a cork in the glass, but we decline, a piece of cork literally floating in the bottle. A quick trip to the kitchen and we are offered the same wine filtered into a glass jug... politely, we decline again. However, the price of the bottle (very high) seems to be included in the final bill. Stunned by such poor manners, we leave, disappointed.

08/07/2026: A very nice restaurant with excellent food; the ambiance is lovely and the location is somewhat off the beaten tourist track. The staff is very polite and attentive. The prices reflect the quality! It's no wonder the restaurant is listed in the 2026 Michelin Guide.

07/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! In all our years of visiting Amiata, we had never been there, even though we had heard about it... The place is delightful, welcoming, and very well-kept despite its simplicity. The food is excellent, well-cooked with quality ingredients. The service is very friendly and fast. The entire management is family-run, and this, in my opinion, is the added value!!! Fair prices. Reservations are essential on weekends, and not only, especially in the summer.

15/06/2026: This was the most delicious meal I’ve had since coming to Italy. At 72 euros for 1.2 kilograms of steak, I think it’s great value for money, even considering prices in Korea. That’s because it was so delicious and the quality was excellent. It’s not the kind of taste that gets cloying! It is truly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. And the pasta was also the best fit for Korean palates, haha. The staff kept checking to see if the food was okay, and before grilling, they even brought out the meat to show us which cut they were going to use! I feel great that we had such a pleasant experience on our honeymoon! If I come to Pienza again, I will definitely come back here!!!!!

16/07/2026: A truly positive experience, the food was excellent and refined. I drank an excellent Vernaccia Riserva, which, even if it wasn't excellent, was nonetheless excellent thanks to the explanation, storytelling, and expertise of the waiter. It's truly beautiful. It's rare to find places in tourist cities where the staff are knowledgeable and don't try to rip off tourists, especially considering the same treatment for foreign guests. Compliments, highly recommended, even for the price.

03/07/2026: Great private chef experience with Saverio. We were a group of 16 - cooking for a party that size every night was quite a task so it was great to be able to book Saverio to look after us for dinner one evening. Terrific food and lots of choice. We enjoyed it so much we booked him again for another dinner during our stay. He is a super friendly guy, great communication and really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend him. Thanks so much Saverio!

06/07/2026: We ate alone at the cave restaurant. It was interesting to see, nice and cool inside, and we were the only ones there (it was a shame to see it so empty). The staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. We ordered a pecorino cheese board and pici all'aglione. Very reasonably priced.
