Menù vario e sfizioso comprendente pesce e carne, tipico e fantasioso. Ho sperimentato gli antipasti di pesce, un primo di orecchiette con sugo ottimo (che non saprei riassumere) mentre i miei commensali si sono pappati un rombo al forno. Servizio efficiente e professionale. Il titolare ha realizzato un crema allo zabaione appositamente per mia moglie che è intollerante al lattosio Quando tornerò a Siena non mancherò di ripassare.

04/01/2024: We had an excellent wine experience in Fonterutoli. We started with a "food/wine tasting" in the osteria, where we had a 4 courses lunch paired with 4 glasses of wine. As starter we had a poached egg with parmesan cream, followed by paccheri with wild boar ragout and grilled capocollo. As dessert we got tiramisu. All dishes were paired with their own wines and we enjoyed a lot. After lunch we visited their cellars and the guy that took care of our visit did an excellent job; at the end of the visit we tasted 5 more wines produced there and we liked them all.
09/12/2023: A great location, even in winter. Nice service, good food, excellent wines. We'd love to come back.

31/03/2024: Small place with large outdoor spaces where you can pergola after some good, excellent food accompanied by a good wine. In Chianti there is this very, very nice place where you can eat with family or friends. Also covered by some trees which, when it is very hot, create a truly pleasant shade, as well as a very suggestive atmosphere.
31/03/2024: Truly relaxing experience in the heart of Chianti, super friendly and welcoming dining room staff. Small family-run restaurant in the heart of this small village in Chianti, they have many wine labels with which to delight the palate.
