A typical restaurant in a small street behind Piazza del Campo. Beautiful location, both inside and out, with its mezzanines. The menu is varied and full of traditional products. A wide selection of wines is available. I recommend the charcuterie board. Exceptional value.

A typical restaurant in the center of Siena that definitely surprised us with the quality of its cured meats. The steak was good, and the desserts were delicious. Excellent value. The only negative was the beef tartare served as part of the mixed antipasto platter. We can't be sure, but it's possible it was the cause of an intestinal bacteria infection, as it was the only dish eaten exclusively by the person in the couple who wasn't feeling well.

A very good experience at Osteria Permalico. An excellent restaurant with quality wine, flavorful meat, and truly delicious desserts. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for lunch with friends or family. Efficient service and a friendly setting made for a very enjoyable time. I highly recommend it.

I'd been there two years earlier, recommended by a friend who was studying here. The setting is beautiful, with exposed brickwork and a lively yet relaxing Sienese atmosphere. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, knowledgeable, and friendly (even on the phone to make reservations). The food, well: spectacular! The cured meats and cheeses appetizer was excellent, well-explained by the waiter, varied and delicious. The pici were well-made and delicious, with just the right portions, because after all, you have to leave and continue walking along the ups and downs of these streets that exude history. I recommend the Fiorentina steak, but only if shared: it's a quality meat, well-cooked, and tasty, but since it's a bit of a challenge to eat alone, if it gets cold, it doesn't stay as good as it was when you first started; but this is a given, regardless of where you eat it. P.S.: It's not a "touristy" restaurant; the food here is good, with quality products and a good price. I would return; in fact, I already have!

Very nice place, super friendly staff and excellent food

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday without a reservation. The staff was incredibly kind in finding us a table despite it being packed. The service was excellent, precise, and very friendly. The food was delicious, from the platter to the entrees to the dessert, everything was truly excellent. The atmosphere is very intimate. If I lived here, I would definitely go back!

Great location, exquisite staff, excellent service, exquisite food, excellent value for money

We stopped by chance during a stroll through Siena's streets, we ate very well, the staff was very professional and quick to serve us (the food is truly delicious) a highly recommended osteria...we will return.
