The staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness and helpfulness throughout the meal. The gardens are equally impressive, providing an ideal setting for a leisurely stroll after lunch.
04/11/2025: The lamb was very tasty and the portion was large. The wine recommendations were also delicious, but I found them a bit acidic. The appetizers served before our orders were nice.

21/09/2025: The food is fantastic. I recommend the mixed platter with various house specialties, including pappa al pomodoro, cured meats, cheeses, and flans, plus samples of the daily specials. The staff is super friendly and welcoming; you feel at home and pampered. I would definitely go back.

A Dutch chef who not only creates traditional Italian dishes but also brings a touch of refinement to the plate and a fun twist by choosing different, less common ingredients. And what a view from the terrace! Fantastic! 👌

02/12/2025: Tenuta di Mensanello is much more than a farmhouse. It's a small, enchanting hamlet run with passion, expertise, and professionalism. The restaurant is excellent, with a wide selection of local products. The wines are also excellent, and the staff are wonderful. It's also suitable for families with children, thanks to the pool and games available.

08/12/2025: A restaurant in the center of Siena, where we decided to have lunch during our stay. The place is quite well-kept, though it's a shame about some of the seating options (a small makeshift counter/large table shared with strangers) aren't very comfortable. Otherwise, the staff is very friendly, and we had a wonderful meal!

The prices are fair and the staff is friendly.
I recommend the Locanda del Molino.
Reservations are recommended, preferably for the first shift. 7:30 PM.
The place is very quiet and peaceful at that time.

The appetizer was good, the first course excellent, with homemade pasta and a generous amount of ragù.
The house wine was also good, and the bill was fair.
The staff were friendly, the service quick.
Overall, I highly recommend this place.
I'll definitely stop by again.
19/03/2026: I had a really good meal, the service was excellent, the price was more than reasonable. The only flaw was the bathroom mirror, which was too high and not suitable for dwarfs. You guys are great. I've been back to this place a few times in recent months, and I have to say I ate well, and the service was more than excellent. I can confirm that you're great! 👍

They had changed a starter without telling us, instead of a mascarpone cream with licorice & lemongrass they served artichoke alla giudea with mayonnaise 🤷♀️
The pasta that was a speciality for the evening sounded so good when he explained it turned out to be a regular tomato sauce with a local garlic, well...
09/03/2026: The food is good, and the staff is knowledgeable about both ingredients and wines. The place isn't accessible and feels a bit claustrophobic. Furthermore, the menu doesn't offer a wide variety of first or second courses. There's no Tuscan Chianina Florentine steak, only the Piedmontese one. Even the most traditional dishes are prepared with the addition of more modern ingredients and methods that distort the character of the dishes. Definitely not a typical osteria. Perhaps more of a tourist restaurant, with high prices. It's a shame. There aren't many other options in the area, so the choice perhaps seems a bit forced... I don't think I'll return.

Super fair prices despite the quality of the food, location, and service.
The Chianina steak tartare with truffle and the Florentine steak are exceptional!

01/02/2026: I discovered this place completely by chance during a bike ride. I'd promised myself I'd wait until I got to my destination to eat, but then I stumbled upon this place and hunger took over. The place looks almost unremarkable from the outside, but once you enter, everything changes. Very well-kept. The owner is very friendly. I had the best tartare and tagliata of my life. All washed down with a divine Chianti Riserva. The prices are initially high, but they're proportionate to the quality. Personally, it's a place worth going to.
