12/04/2026: A truly unforgettable stay at Riserva di Fizzano 🌿 This place is the definition of peaceful. Surrounded by the beauty of Tuscany and rooted in over 1,000 years of history, it feels like stepping into another world. The sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking—something you’ll want to pause and fully take in. The food at the restaurant is excellent, making it easy to stay in and enjoy every moment, and the wine… simply some of the best you’ll find in the region 🍷 The room was very unique and clean, the sheets and towels were as well. One small tip: bring a wall adapter, or you can easily ask for one at reception. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful escape with history, views, and amazing food, this is it.

02/05/2026: An enchanting place nestled in the Chianti vineyards, wonderful and knowledgeable people who convey all their love and passion for what they do. We had the opportunity to discover their cellars and taste their wines, and what can I say, 5-star quality, we will definitely be back...

03/08/2025: Booked 2 nights at Relais Le Macine di Stigliano with very short notice. It is only 20 minutes drive away from Siena, in a pretty and quiet location. The rooms are nicely renovated, spacious and quiet. The pool area is beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was surprisingly good and varied (not always the case with Italian places). Staff was great, was super helpful when asking for tips and recommendations about restaurants and what to see. Very recommended!

16/05/2026: Entering this restaurant, which works exclusively with local products with great care, is a truly tranquil experience. The space invites you to savor excellent dishes such as Pici dell'Osteria or yogurt with fresh fruit coulis, not forgetting a glass of prosecco accompanied by a warm amuse-bouche. The service is highly professional and respectful of the customer. Enjoying such moments among 16 diners, surrounded by local products for sale, under delicately painted vaulted ceilings, is a delight.

08/08/2026: Great place to get some authentic pastries and a good, strong caffè. The staff are really kind and helpful, and service is quite fast. The pastry I had was delicious and filling, perfect breakfast to kick off the day!

16/08/2026: We were passing through and stopped for lunch on a Sunday, calling 20 minutes in advance to see if there was room. We had no idea what to expect, but the food looked good. They are, quite a lot. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the place has an old-world charm. You can even eat sitting in your car if you like.

25/07/2025: Super delicious cocktails! We were very satisfied. We sat on the terrace; you can only sit side by side, but you have a lovely view of the piazza. An awning would have been nice so you're not sitting directly in the blazing sun. You can also order the cocktails to go, which cost €1 less.

07/07/2025: Key Largo Bar – Espresso with Heart We came here looking for a really good espresso – and we weren't disappointed! The coffee was excellent: strong, aromatic, and exactly what you'd expect in Italy. The real highlight, however, was the moment when our little daughter naturally wanted a children's espresso – that is, milk foam in her espresso cup. The barista not only smiled warmly, but happily fulfilled her wish – and even on the house. A small moment that put a big smile on our faces. Conclusion: Good coffee, lovely people, a lovely atmosphere – that's exactly how you want to enjoy your coffee break.

09/08/2026: Restaurant and pizzeria inside the campsite but open to everyone, with outdoor seating in the summer... the location is very simple but it's nice!! I've always had the pizza, which is excellent, well-topped and available in various flavors... the guys serving are young, cheerful, and very kind!!!

23/09/2025: Absolutely a two-Michelin-star dinner. Heinz Beck's sous chef is the chef. The dishes are exceptional, ecstatic. An incredible experience.

18/08/2025: What can I say... A special location, a village on the border between Tuscany and Umbria and Lazio, and the chef was on top of his game like never before in showcasing the local ingredients. The tasting was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish had something unique to offer, even the smallest bite. I would have said it was impossible to rank in order of goodness, because the extremely high quality of the suckling pig, the sea bass, and the scampi were all on par. But alas, all the courses had to capitulate in the face of the foie gras, an absolute masterpiece, an explosion of flavors, textures, and even temperatures, sublime, enhanced by the stellar pairing of the white wine we were offered... When you leave, the only thought is what the autumn menu will be like. Many thanks to the chef, the sommelier, and the entire team, young but truly knowledgeable, unobtrusive yet always present...

10/06/2026: I couldn’t recommend the restaurant here enough! The food was outstanding. Friendly, relaxed, efficient and delicious. We first came here 20 years ago and it’s still a wonderful place to eat. We didn’t stay there so can’t comment on the rooms but go to the restaurant! V close to the Piazza del Campo and very reasonably prices.

02/06/2026: This farmhouse is ideally located for visiting the Abbey of San Gargano. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant is excellent, with a Florentine steak to sample. And everything else is second to none.

04/05/2026: We stopped at the San Galgano agroturismo during our bike trip, the grand tour of the Val di Merse. It was a truly rejuvenating break thanks to the impeccable service from the staff, the swimming pool (a bit chilly in April, but so refreshing after a day of cycling), and the restaurant offering delicious dishes (special mention to the vegetable side dishes, a welcome change from what you usually find in the region). In short, a stay in an absolutely idyllic setting that delighted us.

20/08/2026: The restaurant is on the hill overlooking Siena. It has a garden with a beautiful view of the Sienese countryside (where, if you arrive early, you can enjoy an aperitif before dinner). The menu is very unique, with delicious vegetarian options (the daikon cooked like ossobuco is truly unique and delicious). Prices are a little higher than average, but the ingredients are very good.
