29/10/2023: Farmhouse immersed in the greenery of the Tuscan hills. The strong points are certainly linked to the location with a thousand "vintage" references to peasant and country life, which help immersion. Thanks to the great work of Brando (an expert chef!) and his family, the experience in this place is unique. Despite the tiredness of an entire season on their shoulders, they were able to welcome us with all the necessary attention. A small necessary note should be made about the animals, which run around happily throughout the property. You might even find two docile Golden Retrievers at the foot of your table while you eat, but honestly it's only a problem if you're allergic (at that point maybe other places are recommended...). If this were not the case, you will witness a unique show chasing a caress (or a bite!), truly hilarious. To get to the farm there is a dirt road of about two kilometers but easily passable by all means of transport. Very fast free WiFi.

17/10/2023: My wife and I just spent five idyllic nights at Agriturismo Pieve Sprenna! The location and views are amazing, with so many comfortable areas on the grounds for relaxing, swinging, swimming, and snacking outdoors. The breakfast was plentiful and included home baked cookies and crostatas, and maybe the best scrambled eggs with local tomatoes we have ever eaten! We enjoyed two wonderful dinners in the restaurant, four full courses for only 30 euros each! Our room was comfortable, quiet, and well furnished. Thanks to the family and staff at Pieve Sprenna for providing a wonderful holiday stay!!

10/03/2024: After visiting this wonderful Italian Tuscan restaurant in Bonconvento, I was amazed by the incredible atmosphere and delicious cuisine. The service was excellent, and the dishes were prepared with great attention to detail and authentic Italian flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of exquisite Italian cuisine!

28/01/2024: Il ristorante è in posizione strategica proprio lungo la strada che scende da Siena alla Val d'Orcia e si parcheggia comodamente. L'ambiente è caldo e familiare come una vecchia trattoria. Servizio gentile e veloce; il mio compagno ha preso dei crostoni, io dei pici alle briciole ed erano entrambi buoni! Un quartino di vino, acqua e caffè... 25 euro in due e la nostra maratona fotografica nel senese è ripartita!

13/01/2024: Ho chiamato per prenotare facendo presente che ho un cane. Mi hanno detto che il cane era più benvenuto di noi. Siamo andati ed abbiamo ricevuto lamentele soprattutto dal proprietario che ci prendeva l’ordine molto scocciato, perché il nostro zagor abbaiava ogni tanto. Quando siamo andati via ci ha anche detto che se il cane si comporta sempre così e’ un problema. La cucina e’ mediocre, il conto da un ristorante stellato. Pessima esperienza.

01/01/2024: Ristorante accogliente. Ottimi piatti toscani. Tagliata di manzo molto buona e tenera. Stracotto di chianina davvero morbido e gustoso. Ampia scelta anche di primi piatti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero ottima. Ottima scoperta. Personale gentile e servizio veloce. Abbiamo trovato posto il primo dell’anno senza dover prenotare.

03/03/2024: Horrible place to go to. The man who served us was really grumpy and ignored us and we left before we ordered our food. I would not recommend unless you want to get ignored by some grumpy old man who makes people feel unwelcome. He made us feel stupid by pretending to not recognise something on the menu.

03/03/2024: What a diabolical place!! Avoid at all costs!! We hadn’t pre-booked a table for our family of five and turned up on a Sunday evening hoping for some authentic Tuscan cuisine. There was only one other table occupied when we arrived and asked for a table for 5. The waiter (Mario presumably) sneered at us as he pushed 2 tables together for us. He then brought the food menus but not the wine menu. My wife asked for the wine menu and was sneered at again. The wine menu was tossed on the table. He very quickly came to take our order, clearly in a hurry to feed us and get rid of us. My 12 year old son asked for the pulled pork. On the menu, this item was written as “pulled pork” (English) on both the Italian description and English translation. He claimed not to understand. I got my son to point at the item on the menu, and he still claimed to not understand. All with further sneering. At this point we decided to leave. I will not part with hard earned cash for such disgraceful and rude service as this. Please do yourself a favour and avoid. The Enoteca 3 or 4 doors down the street offers a far more pleasant dining experience
