07/04/2026: A truly magnificent place surrounded by greenery, just steps from the Val d'Orcia and the Crete Senesi.
The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The breakfasts are refined and carefully prepared. The entire property is managed with passion and dedication by the family. We highly recommend staying for dinner, as the food is truly delicious.
17/03/2026: In June 2025, we visited Pieve Sprenna for the second time, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely once again. We greatly enjoy the wonderfully quiet and relaxed atmosphere; we love dreaming away in the beautiful garden with the Tuscan landscape while enjoying our afternoon aparativo: limoncello spritz and some snacks or a nice local wine, relaxing in the jacuzzi for a bit, and having a delicious meal in the evening. The pizza night on the terrace was a huge success, in particular. The breakfast with freshly made strawberry jam (made by the father the year before, I was told) is also a real treat.
It is not for nothing that we call this our “Happy place”.
We are going again this coming May 2026 🥰. This time we are bringing good friends along because we want them to experience this wonderful place; this time we are also going to rent bikes and go to a wine tasting, for which the family helped us in the right direction so that we could arrange it.

02/04/2026: The food was actually very good, but unfortunately the service was very cold and we didn't feel welcome, perhaps because we didn't speak Italian. I don't know... it's a shame, really.
04/01/2026: We celebrated my dad's 80th birthday here. I arranged a menu for the occasion, and I'd say everything was very good, but I especially appreciate the chicken, rabbit, lamb, and fried vegetables. Riccardo and his staff were welcoming and professional. Thank you.

08/03/2026: A truly authentic osteria in the heart of Buonconvento. The staff makes you feel right at home right away. We shared a plate of delicious gorgonzola and walnut dumplings, followed by a melt-in-the-mouth Florentine steak, accompanied by two delicious sides (artichokes and potatoes), and finished with a fantastic tiramisu and two local liqueurs recommended by the host. The house wine was also good. Fair prices. We will definitely return if we ever find ourselves in Buonconvento again.

22/04/2026: It was an exceptional experience. Our group was about 30 people. The food was wonderful and plentiful. Chef Michele personally appeared at each dish and asked for feedback on what was served. At the end, we even took a picture. Thank you very much for the experience!

05/04/2026: We had the most incredible Easter lunch at Il Ponte. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We started with traditional Tuscan antipasti, but the highlight was definitely the pasta—the Strozzapreti with ragù was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of bite. You can tell everything is made with tradition in mind. The service was attentive despite the holiday rush, and the local wine pairings were spot on. A truly memorable Tuscan Easter. Highly recommended!

I gave carte blanche to the chef, who prepared this delicious risotto for me. The fish was fresh and the dish was well-prepared.
A pleasant evening.
I recommend it.

24/08/2023: Se di passaggio devo fermarmi a tutti i costi. Un concentrato di prelibatezze e prodotti ricercati, anche non di loro produzione. Appena si entra ti accorgi di non essere in un bar o panetteria tradizionali. Grande la scelta di dolci e di prodotti panificati. Il prezzo ? Scusate è un dettaglio, quando varco l'ingresso mi accorgo immediatamente di non essere alla Conad. Da andarci, possibilmente prima di fare colazione. Bravi.
