30/04/2026: Great food, great location, fantastic team – by far the best restaurant and pizzeria in the area, in my opinion. Reservations are definitely recommended, even in the off-season.

05/04/2026: We went for Easter. We ate in the garden, the service was excellent, everything was good, and the staff were attentive to everything. The price was right for what we ate. We'll definitely be back... well done!

15/06/2026: Unfortunately, I really liked this ice cream shop, but today I found a hair in the ice cream, right inside the cone while I was eating it. It clearly couldn't have been flying, it just fell in by accident. I mentioned it to the staff, and the girl said, "Oh, okay, are you still eating it?" And I obviously said no, and she said, "Then throw it away." It seems obvious that I threw it away, but unfortunately, I only took a bite of the cone. But I honestly didn't expect this from the staff. It's a real shame.

15/06/2026: The ice cream cone was delicious. I tried the cinnamon and orange and zuppa inglese flavors, both of which were excellent! The crunchy wafer was also good. I recommend it!

14/06/2026: From breakfast to dinner, this place offers a truly enormous variety of dishes, desserts, and even delicious gelato. Everything is 100% plant-based and delicious. An honorable mention goes to the breakfast, as the selection is so wide and all the options are delicious. The owners are fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. Definitely worth a try, especially if you're not vegan—you'll be pleasantly surprised! 😋😋

13/06/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to try what they're serving. We came at 21:40 after walking 3 km just to visit Essenza, we were super excited as we discovered vegan restaurant in quite a small town. We planned to go for dinner or drinks and then the next day for breakfast. It was supposed to be open until 23:00. We arrived and I've asked if they still serve food. One of the ladies said the kitchen is closed. So I asked if they can serve drinks. She frowned and glanced at the watch and responded they might give us 20 minutes. So I asked what time they close normally and she responded that at 22. I mentioned that the internet and the information on the door says it's 23, to which they replied that they had changed their opening hours. Not sure when, as I found another review saying they arrived to find the door locked although, according to the internet, it should be open. We left really disappointed, as we walked 6 km for nothing. We love supporting vegan businesses, that's why I am giving 3 stars instead of 1. They should update their opening hours online, as this shows a lack of respect for their customers. The staff don’t speak English, but they understand a little, and I understand Italian, so we managed to make ourselves understood somehow. They looked quite unpleasantly surpised that we came, which would be understandable 20-15 mins before closing, but it's not our fault they close earlier they declare... We were so disappointed that we decided not to go for breakfast there, as who knows when it opens...

We ate at a table facing a wide selection of (we assume) collectible wines, displayed to frame a simple yet refined setting. We ordered two appetizers (sfocato with confit tomatoes, anchovies, and burrata, a potato and onion millefeuille with a delicious Greek sauce accompanied by the ever-present San Daniele prosciutto), two first courses (maltagliati with wild boar ragù and beetroot gnocchi with venison ragù) accompanied by two glasses of Valpolicella red wine, highly recommended by the very knowledgeable staff (the wine cellar is amazing). The waiters are very friendly and attentive to your needs and requests, and the staff gets a thumbs up. As for the quantity, I must say that it's artisanal cuisine that combines traditional local flavors with top-quality, non-native ingredients (the portions aren't gourmet-style). The price is slightly above average, but you know, quality comes at a price. The restaurant gets a full thumbs up.

25/05/2026: A beautiful and very well-maintained property! The rooms are tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and cleaned daily! The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, and the restaurant also impresses with the outstanding quality of its food! We lacked absolutely nothing, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Preselle! The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful! Everything was simply fantastic! Grazie Mille

04/05/2026: A restaurant right in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia. The center itself is charming, and the restaurant is equally charming, very well-maintained with stone walls. The staff are incredibly friendly! They were fully booked, and they were disappointed to find us a table. We left, and I believe the owner, Thomas, saw us from afar and said he'd managed to find us a spot, so we returned for dinner. They were truly super kind. Fast service, clean restaurant, and good food.

03/05/2026: Compliments to the entire place!! The waitress and wait staff were superb! Perhaps the best table service I've ever experienced in terms of kindness and helpfulness. My two-year-old was treated like a prince, with smiles and games, and the staff attentive to his every need. The food was all truly excellent! I didn't have time to take photos of my full plate because everything was so good 🤣 A very beautiful and distinctive place for its location and setting. We'll definitely be back!!
