21/05/2025: I really can't understand the good reviews of this restaurant. Average tourist food, cheese board with three anonymous caciottas, pici all'agliata with very little seasoning and dry. The torta papalina is good but identical to others eaten elsewhere. The guy in the dining room is kind but you eat better elsewhere.

The owner showed her passion for quality food and experiences in our conversation with her and the meal that we had. It is no surprise that they are Michelin rated for many years past and present. It was a memorable evening on all counts.

20/05/2025: Well hidden in the old town of Roccastrada. Italian flair and super friendly staff at their best. The Pici Surprise is a dream, and then the Bistecca alla Fiorentina! With good wine, what more could you want? Thank you for the lovely evening.

04/05/2025: I had never eaten there despite living in the area, and I must admit that I missed something special. Jonathan is a truly unique person, he knows how to advise you and knows how to do his job professionally, a very welcoming and evocative environment. Special menu for guests with good taste, we ate very well what Jonathan recommended to us, from the appetizers to the first course followed by various tastings of local products. I highly recommend it 😊 Thanks again Jonathan 👍

17/06/2025: Typical Tuscan trattoria, I recommend eating outside because it is very characteristic. Very kind staff, good food, I recommend the tortelli maremmani and the cheeses with pepper jam which is very good, normal portions honest price.

18/05/2025: I think it's one of the few places left where everything is cooked on the spot. Last night we wanted to have dinner in Massa Marittima and we couldn't have ended up in a better place. Few seats, everything managed by the owner who offers different dishes every day. Everything is delicious. Congratulations Caterina, we will definitely come back to visit you!

17/05/2025: We wanted to eat something good, we couldn't have ended up better. Caterina the owner and chef manages everything by herself And it's like entering her home. She cooks everything on the spot, the pici pulled at the moment even the involtino cooked express. I've never eaten in a place like this. 08/06/2025: I went there last night with my partner, we found it by chance looking for a place to have dinner on Google Maps. Even though we called a quarter of an hour before we were supposed to be there, they found us a really nice table outside. We arrived at sunset and the atmosphere was really beautiful because the restaurant is a pearl set in this small village. We had two crostini as an appetizer, mine was vegetarian, delicious. Then two very good first courses, finally a super chocolatey dessert and a whiskey. To drink, a bottle of water and half a liter of house red wine and we spent a total of €56.00. The quality/price ratio was really really great! Now you don't eat so well anywhere else for so little. We highly recommend it and if we ever find ourselves in those parts again we will definitely go back. A very positive note, the very nice staff!!! Especially the guy who served us who was kind, helpful and very nice, he made us feel at ease and not like we were a nuisance, as unfortunately happens more and more often in various restaurants. Very good!!!

05/06/2025: Very well-kept restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere in the center of the town. Very popular so I highly recommend booking in advance. As appetizers we tried the mix of vegetable tarts, very good and a tartare with fried egg amazing! Like a Florentine steak served with the hot plate aside to heat it up (it was very useful). For dessert an excellent apple clafoutis recommended by the very kind lady who served us. I give 4 stars because we wanted to share a slice of about 800g but, since it ran out, they offered us a Florentine steak (obviously more expensive) of similar weight. The weight was almost double, so the bill turned out to be decidedly salty. Having said that, excellent and quality food!

27/05/2025: Io ci vado spesso sia con amici e familiari, il personale è sempre eccellente con tutti, i piatti hanno ingredienti freschi e genuini, e sono sempre un esplosione di bontà! C'è anche un arredamento con quadri, una collezione di fumetti e oggetti rari da trovare, quando vado lì mi sento come a casa. Consigliatissimo!

26/05/2025: Improvvisata serale per uno spuntino a portar via . Matteo e lo staff sempre disponibili anche di lunedì sera, ed era dopo le 21! Come sempre impossibile non consigliare quello che è un vero faro della ristorazione, competenza e gentilezza...siete fantastici! Grazie ancora!
