Excellent regional cuisine, prepared primarily with local produce, offers excellent value for money. A friendly welcome. Beautiful views. Local products are also available for purchase.

20/02/2025: We stayed in the hotel for one night, honestly I expected much more for a 4*. Even though it was a deluxe room, it had no windows but only the French door at the entrance and as soon as we arrived there was a strong smell of chlorine in the room. Being on the ground floor in a passage point the choice was whether to stay in the dark or without privacy. The bathroom fixtures were clean but very old, the plastics had turned yellow with time. The room was too hot with no way to turn off the radiator in the bathroom which had a broken knob and we had to sleep with the window open, despite this I woke up twice with a dry mouth. Considering the amount of insects outside, mosquito nets should be put in to prevent animals from entering the room every time the door is opened. Neglected spa, Sauna without hourglass and with drafts. There are 2 hydromassages, one working intermittently and with some jets not working. The other heated to an unbearable temperature I would say above 50 degrees which made it almost impossible to stay inside or tried to insert my legs they burned me for a few hours no comment Sofas in the relaxation room with worn fabrics. The restaurant was good but I expected more from the quality of the meat. I tried a fillet which wasn't tender and they changed it for another steak 🥩 but in reality this one was good but not like others I've eaten which were like butter. Sufficient breakfast. In conclusion it is not worth the price you pay, too bad. Last thing about the Spa... we had booked an hour but no one on the phone had told us that we could use 2 hours, the fact is that we arrived at 5pm and without doing anything we entered at 6pm and at 6.50pm they were already sending us away and were preparing to close. The only good thing I tasted was the wine. the view is beautiful.

16/02/2025: Unfortunately the quality of this restaurant has dropped and consequently my opinion drops. I was here with some German friends, the managers evidently based themselves on this to establish prices and other tricks that I didn't expect. 1) Passing off a beef steak as a wild boar steak was the most serious thing. Dear gentlemen, apart from the taste which is different, you serve me a rare steak saying it is wild boar. Everyone knows that pigs are not served rare and this already shows that it wasn't a wild boar. Faced with my perplexity, the waitress says that what I said is a compliment as it means that their wild boar is "delicate"... meh. For me it means stealing. 2) Prices. For 5 tastings of cakes (1 saucer) and cantuccini and vin santo x 5, €70. This is also called theft. 3) The portions. A portion of wild boar hunter consists of three measly morsels. Hungry. In short, Grand Hotel prices in a rustic dive. I have nothing against taverns, on the contrary, but I can't stand taverns who think so. I'm done with this place and with me also the German customers I know. There is better in Maremma

10/01/2025: "Caffè" è il soprannome del titolare del Ristorante...siamo stati con un gruppo questa estate, rimanendo tutti soddisfatti. Il menù è invitante e tipico toscano, comunque i piatti vengono anche spiegati dal cortese titolare. Buona scelta di vini, locali e non, e adeguati servizio e prezzo.

04/01/2025: Family dinner! A place with a very welcoming atmosphere, a super busy but always present waitress and the owner pleasantly sits at the table together to illustrate the dishes on the menu and take orders. Every day, from what I understand, there are delicious off-menu items. Excellent value for money. I would go back without thinking twice.

07/02/2025: Very tasty and nice service. The wild boar 🐗 ragout is very tender. Bistecca alla Fiorentina top 👌🏽 We ordered too much because we really wanted to try wild boar. The Bistecca is enough for 2 people. We also ate potatoes with rosemary. Dessert is a pistachio parfait 😋

04/11/2024: I came for lunch with my partner and we had a great time; truly delicious dishes, great attention to detail and above all in the choice of raw materials (many of which are 0 km). Impeccable service and staff who are particularly attentive to the customer. At the end of the meal we were also offered a digestive of their production which closed the experience in the best way.
