The rabbit roll and the Cinta Senese meat with pistachios and peach and mint cream are excellent. Superlative desserts, especially the chocolate cake and the fruit salad millefeuille. Highly recommended

10/08/2024: Only words of praise for this place. The home cooking, with original ingredients from the area, will only give you rewards. Extremely helpful, friendly and competent staff. Their unique and daily menu will win you over. Access is also for your four-legged friends. The cost of the service will surprise you, you will think they were wrong. I recommend this place to all people who love to eat well but spend little. I advise you to call for reservations, it is always busy.

01/09/2024: I came here with my boyfriend one evening to watch the Roma match. Delicious sandwiches, mixed fried foods and beers. Chicken sticks are a drug!!😍 Honest prices. I recommend it!!!

17/08/2024: MERITA! Scovata per caso è stata una piacevolissima scoperta. Siamo stati accolti con cortesia e calore, abbiamo degustato un ottimo tagliere per due arricchito da sottaceti fatti in casa ed acciughe al pesto, un primo la cui pasta era di una leggerezza unica (non è facile tirare la sfoglia così bene) ed un secondo di cinghiale che si scioglieva in bocca...finito con uno splendido tiramisù. Eravamo i primi clienti e Silvia ci ha trattato da re: di certo quando il locale è pieno bisogna mettere in conto un poco di disattenzione ma, a mio parere, quando si mangia fuori la qualità del cibo dovrebbe essere la prima discriminante e si dovrebbe usare una certa "ampiezza di vedute e tolleranza" se, in una situazione di folla, in un ristorante a conduzione familiare - che è poi il tratto che, in genere e comunque in questo caso determina la bontà del cibo - si possa incappare in qualche ritardo o incomprensione. Pulizia ottima (anche dei bagni i), prezzo giusto per la qualità e quantità. Attenzione ai giorni di chiusura: martedì e mercoledì di norma.

16/08/2024: Sono stato in questa hostaria ieri sera con mia moglie e mio figlio. Accolti benissimo ci hanno fatto accomodare subito ad un tavolo all'aperto, abbiamo cenato sotto le stelle. Prendiamo un antipasto del contadino, salumi formaggi, verdurine sott'olio, e alici marinate., tutto buono.e abbondante Mia moglie prende i pici cacio e pepe mentre mio figlio pici alla carbonara, ottimi. Io ho scelto una tagliata aglio e rosmarino con contorno di cicoria saltata in padella piccantina, tutto buono. Ah dimenticavo abbiamo assaggiato la pappa al pomodoro era squisita. Abbiamo concluso con una mousse al cioccolato un nocino e un caffè. Ottimo anche il conto. Se vi capita di passare da queste parti fermatevi.

24/08/2024: If I could I would give more stars! As soon as you finish dinner, what can I say: Very kind staff, and superlative food, all homemade! ...And you can feel it!...and you can appreciate it! Informal environment but cleanliness and quality at the highest levels, much better than some "starred" places. But let's go back to the food: the pickles, very good, have the flavor of the past, in short, like grandma used to make them! The Maremma tortelloni with ragù...the best of my life, and I have been scouring the Maremma for 60 years. And what can we say about the Cinta Senese steak? A triumph of taste and delicacy, which is very difficult for this specialty, it is so strong in its own right that making it delicate without dulling the flavors is truly masterful. Well done! Location of a trattoria from times gone by, very familiar, beautiful. Very honest account. You leave with a smile, and not just because of the super nice owners. We'll see each other again, many times.

16/08/2024: Incredible discovery, in a hamlet of Sorano only heroes could think of keeping open a real tavern with traditional food. We need to support these places that keep the villages alive. Even at the cost of traveling a few more km. Traditional recipes of EXCEPTIONAL quality, cheerful atmosphere and women who manage with rare courtesy. PS. Everything was fabulous but the truffle gnocchi are illegal, they were so good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Had lunch on 14/08 with 4 of us all delighted Stefano Berna & C.

07/08/2024: Excellent dinner with friends. We ate very well but above all a lot of friendliness and courtesy from those who served us. The initiative to open this place to revitalize the town is excellent. Highly recommended. Go there and you won't be disappointed!

15/08/2024: We ordered a takeaway pizza to sit on the beach, the pizzas were ready in 15 minutes and were super tasty. The owner was very friendly and the prices were great too, absolute recommendation! PS: The spicy salami is spicy, even if he claims the opposite ☺️

20/07/2024: Siamo stati a luglio 2024. Cena. Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, dall'antipasto al dolce. Le persone sono tutte gentilissime e disponibili. L'unica cosa è che è un po' costoso per le nostre tasche, è per questo che non metto 5 come voto; di certo non si spendono dai 20 ai 30 € come c'è scritto sul vostro sito, direi più dai 35 ai 45. Peccato, ma lo consiglio senz'altro.

12/07/2024: Best dinner for us in Capalbio. We had Pasta with wild boar (for the kids). For starter we took brucshetta and tartar with truffle. Main course was soup and grilled lamb. Kids love the pasta ( as allways) Tartar was very good as was the brucshetta, very good taste, wouldn't change anything. Lamb was grilled just perfect and the soup was good. We drink house wine with the food and it was okay, no complain's. Staff was friendly and spoke good english. We understood each other just fine. I would highly recommend to go this restaurant if you visit in Capalbio, also good with the kids. Only complain what i have, is that we had to eat inside ( because outside tables were reserved) book a table if you visit in high holiday season.
