Ristorante da Remo In Grosseto

Unassuming and off the beaten path usually means a place is going to be good, and this one certainly was. The carpaccio di tonno rosso was incredibly fresh and delicate. Flakes of sea salt perfectly enhanced the experience, although a little lemon zest would have brightened the dish. The tagliolini neri ai frutti di mare con pomodori freschi tasted like the sea in the best possible way. The gnocchetti con cicale was more subtle, yet somehow deeper and richer than the tagliolini. The gnocchetti themselves were perfectly tender while still retaining their shape, and the whole dish just felt like a warm hug. The portions could have been slightly more generous, and both the interior and the service left some room for improvement. However, the food was so exceptional that these minor shortcomings were easy to overlook.

I came here a few years ago for my father's retirement, and it was a pleasant confirmation after so many years. Excellent ingredients, excellent service, and delicious food. Definitely worth returning!

Super attentive and helpful staff, amazing food and perfect atmosphere

At Da Remo in Rispescia, fish is a given. 🐟 One thing I really appreciated was the transparency: the menu clearly states which fish is fresh and which isn't, a choice made with great honesty and professionalism. And the great thing is that even the fish that isn't freshly caught remains of the highest quality, prepared with great care and showcased to the fullest. The made-to-order crudités were simply excellent: incredibly fresh, delicate, with a quality of ingredients that you can taste immediately. The fried fish also deserves a special mention: light, crispy, and anything but predictable. And then the desserts... truly killer! 🍰 A fitting conclusion to an already extraordinary dinner. When you find a place where you sense expertise, respect for the product, and passion in every dish, it's worth sharing. Kudos to the entire staff at Da Remo! 👏

Dishes made with top-quality ingredients, cooked to perfection and served with kindness, professionalism, and excellent wait management. A place I would highly recommend to seafood lovers and hope to return to soon!

The portions were generous, with good-quality ingredients and very tasty dishes. The staff was friendly and efficient, and despite the restaurant being quite busy, service was quite fast. Highly recommended if you want to eat good seafood in Maremma! 😋

It was recommended to us, and I have to say the fish was really good. Unfortunately, the service left a little to be desired, but I appreciate the staff's effort (it was very hot). Average price.
