02/07/2026: I don't usually review places without trying them. I was fired from this one shortly before 9:00 PM because it was late and I was alone... First of all, how can you manage a restaurant entirely by yourself? Does that mean you leave the dining room unattended while you're in the kitchen? Also, if you want to work and not settle for two tables for two and not kick people out, maybe you should hire some more staff. Not even in the north do they kick you out at 9:00 PM! Absurd! How easy it is to lose customers.

15/06/2026: The ice cream cone was delicious. I tried the cinnamon and orange and zuppa inglese flavors, both of which were excellent! The crunchy wafer was also good. I recommend it!

15/06/2026: Unfortunately, I really liked this ice cream shop, but today I found a hair in the ice cream, right inside the cone while I was eating it. It clearly couldn't have been flying, it just fell in by accident. I mentioned it to the staff, and the girl said, "Oh, okay, are you still eating it?" And I obviously said no, and she said, "Then throw it away." It seems obvious that I threw it away, but unfortunately, I only took a bite of the cone. But I honestly didn't expect this from the staff. It's a real shame.

14/06/2026: From breakfast to dinner, this place offers a truly enormous variety of dishes, desserts, and even delicious gelato. Everything is 100% plant-based and delicious. An honorable mention goes to the breakfast, as the selection is so wide and all the options are delicious. The owners are fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. Definitely worth a try, especially if you're not vegan—you'll be pleasantly surprised! 😋😋

13/06/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to try what they're serving. We came at 21:40 after walking 3 km just to visit Essenza, we were super excited as we discovered vegan restaurant in quite a small town. We planned to go for dinner or drinks and then the next day for breakfast. It was supposed to be open until 23:00. We arrived and I've asked if they still serve food. One of the ladies said the kitchen is closed. So I asked if they can serve drinks. She frowned and glanced at the watch and responded they might give us 20 minutes. So I asked what time they close normally and she responded that at 22. I mentioned that the internet and the information on the door says it's 23, to which they replied that they had changed their opening hours. Not sure when, as I found another review saying they arrived to find the door locked although, according to the internet, it should be open. We left really disappointed, as we walked 6 km for nothing. We love supporting vegan businesses, that's why I am giving 3 stars instead of 1. They should update their opening hours online, as this shows a lack of respect for their customers. The staff don’t speak English, but they understand a little, and I understand Italian, so we managed to make ourselves understood somehow. They looked quite unpleasantly surpised that we came, which would be understandable 20-15 mins before closing, but it's not our fault they close earlier they declare... We were so disappointed that we decided not to go for breakfast there, as who knows when it opens...

05/03/2026: We went to this restaurant for a wedding anniversary. The place is spacious, very rustic, but pleasant. The gluten-free food is truly excellent. I had a truly sublime portion of cold cuts, gnocchi with ragù, pennette with porcini mushrooms, and a well-cooked and crispy suckling pig. Good service and friendly staff. I will definitely be back.

Mario's experience and professionalism also make superb aperitifs for his customers and friends. The place is spotless and also offers high-quality packaged goods. Highly recommended!

15/05/2026: Back from a most fabulous holiday at Il Cornacchino. Most beautiful and totally peaceful area, lovely people, great accommodation, fantastic food with every need catered for and really nice horses kept in a wonderful natural way. Western tack. Plenty of riding in the woods and hills as well as arena combined with really sound and practical horsemanship. We 3 friends had the riding, horsemanship and Yoga package - loved it - all 5 star ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This wonderful place is very suitable for single travellers too as we all felt like being part of a loving and friendly family ❤️🏇🤠❤️🏇🤠❤️🏇🤠 Thank you to all at il Cornacchino 🥰

15/04/2026: Fantastic place for horse people and nature lovers. Cornacchino is a magical place nestled among hills and forrests. If you are looking for a place to feel at home while eating delicious italian food and spending time with great people and animals this is a perfect option. Ezio, his family and his team go out of their way to make people feel welcome at this agrotourismo. Fabio and all the riding guides are very competent and knowledgable around the animals and provide a unique experience on horseback and during horsemanship training. They also do horsetreks which are one of a kind. Thanks for everything my friends - I will be back!

27/12/2025: Grumpy staff, broken chairs and tables. The smell of smoke from other diners finishing packs of Marlboro Golds. In my opinion, this place was missing a traditional Thai dish, Grandma Mafalda's meatballs... I had ordered pinto beans Picchipó style, but I received chickpeas, which I hate.

14/04/2026: A top-notch pastry shop, and not just in Grosseto. The quality of the ingredients and Chef Pianese's creativity undoubtedly place this establishment at the top of Italian pastry making. The staff is professional, proactive, and attentive to customer requests. The spaces are well-maintained, tidy, and spotlessly clean. The savory Colomba cake? An amazing treat! Absolutely worth trying.

We ate here for two days: the first day, spaghetti with clams, delicious and well-made; the second, spaghetti with seafood, even better, truly flavorful. The pastiera was fantastic, not to be missed. The owner is very friendly, and the atmosphere is genuine and authentic. A simple place where you eat well and have a great time. Recommended!

07/06/2026: We were passing through and found and chose this place almost by chance for lunch. We were greeted by the very kind and courteous host. The cured meats and cheeses appetizer was superb, as was the pappardelle with wild boar ragù. The tasty and tender tagliata deserves special mention: it tasted like butter. Unfortunately, we didn't order any wine, but the wine list was worth it.
