21/05/2026: Had the best Vongole pasta of my life !! Everything from the starters to the desert was delicious, and the staff was super friendly also telling us a bit more about the story of the restaurant and island.
Couldn’t recommend a better adress for an authentic and mouth watering culinary experience 🫶🏼
Bonus: the sunset view from the cute small windows 😍
02/05/2026: A truly excellent restaurant, with wonderful options both on and off the menu. I especially loved the Spaghetti alla Nerano. We went on May 1st with my family, and all the wait staff were pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

03/07/2026: I'm here on vacation, we came the first time and we liked it a lot, we came back a second time, the staff, atmosphere and food were really good, I felt welcomed and at home, recommended restaurant.
01/07/2026: I went to this restaurant, in the small town of Giglio Porto, for two nights. I would have continued, but I had other commitments. Stunning setting. Sea view. Excellent service. Cleanliness. And what about dinner? Sabrina is a true hostess, as well as a brilliant chef. I haven't had such a good dinner in years. I highly recommend it to everyone. If you're passing through Giglio, you absolutely must stop at Doria. Kudos to Luca, Sabrina's partner. Very polite and kind, and kudos to the girls in the dining room, especially Vanessa.
I will definitely return to Giglio and will definitely dine at Doria. Truly excellent in every way.

07/06/2026: We ate dinner there twice during our holiday on the island of Giglio. It's a small, cozy restaurant with a well-rounded menu. The staff is very friendly. Having eaten at other restaurants before, we were pleasantly surprised to find a place on the island where you can eat relatively well. Unfortunately, we hadn't had good experiences at the restaurants we'd tried previously. The decor is simple, but you still feel comfortable, thanks to both the food and the staff.

30/10/2025: Since I go on holiday to Giglio many times and since I bring Giglio to Giglio the Gigliesi are not very friendly with tourists, I have to change my mind from Monticello Castello where the Castello Monticello hotel is located. From the owner Tommaso to all the staff I have to say that I spent some wonderful days. The hotel is located in a strategic point, has a breathtaking view, parking, the availability if you are without a car, they have a free shuttle service. What can I say? The Castello Monticello hotel has all the requirements for an unforgettable holiday.

15/10/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at PortaVia restaurant and want to compliment the high quality of the food and service. The grilled octopus, executed with impeccable skill, deserves a special mention: the texture was perfectly balanced, tender yet slightly crunchy on the outside.
The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, the staff is professional, and the attention to detail contributes to an overall excellent experience.
14/10/2025: The owner is kind and helpful....the cuisine is well prepared and good....the prices are fair.

A charming location both inside and out.
It's definitely not a cheap bar: Coca-Cola is €4; if you sit down for a coffee, they charge an extra 0.50 cents for table service.
The decision to leave sanitary pads in the bathrooms for customers' use is noteworthy.

30/09/2025: I went to this small yet beautiful place in Giglio where you can find delicious pizza with the best quality of ingredients and of course, maybe the best brioches I’ve ever tasted!!! Even just the “brioche vuota” has this amazing flavor that makes you think that you don’t need anything else to add to it.
Talking about the service, the girls who serve are really nice and friendly. The owner is very charismatic and has a great attitude, she makes you feel like wanting to come back to the bar!!!

20/06/2026: We had a reservation at 9:15, but by 10:45 PM we still hadn't received any entrees. After complaining, the three appetizers arrived. Mine, a tuna tartare, was frozen inside... We canceled the order. The waiter told us we'd been seated at 9:40...
and it's not a trattoria!!!
It's a shame because everything looks good.
02/06/2026: Spaghetti with clams and lupini beans, €24.00, with only 13 lupini beans, six of which didn't open. The only flavor was that of burnt garlic.
This is the first fish dish you should learn to cook well, at least the basics.

03/05/2026: We booked a table based on the excellent experience we had five years ago. We were disappointed. The spaghetti with clams was tasteless: the cherry tomatoes wandered around the plate, completely uninfluenced by the rest of the sauce, if you will. The octopus (also tasteless) was paired with baked potatoes soaked in oil. The local fish was decent, but it seemed hastily cooked, and served with a side of vegetables that weren't prepared with the dish. We hope the restaurant returns to its former level.
08/04/2026: Fantastic!!! I said I'd come back, and I did! Another great experience, the fish is simply amazing, and the usual service makes you feel at home! Well done, well done, well done!

12/05/2026: We had a Campari spritz and a Chinotto (non alcoholic) without even one crisp or an olive and were charged 16€! Go to Giglio Porto instead where you’ll pay half the price and lots of nibbles are included. Complete ripoff.

28/07/2025: uno dei migliori ristoranti che ho provato all'isola del giglio. Molto bella la location con una terrazza vista golfo e tramonto spettacolare. Personale molto disponibile e discreto. Servizio veloce e soprattutto ottima cucina, sia nei piatti di mare che di terra ed eccellenti dolci.
28/07/2025: Secondo la nostra esperienza, è il miglior ristorante del Giglio! Terrazzo panoramico meraviglioso, menù ricercato ma fedele alla tradizione con ottima ricerca e cura della materia prima. Prezzi più che onesti in base alla proposta. Complimenti anche per il servizio molto curato, professionale ma allo stesso tempo simpatico e familiare.
