01/03/2026: Wonderful experience. As soon as we arrived from outside, they elegantly led us to our table; the food was truly high-quality and they brought it very quickly, with very polite and professional staff. I would return 1,000 times over! Dishes ordered: Saffron tortello and gnocco, two grilled Chianina beef fillets with roast potatoes, a honey and pine nut cheesecake, and a tiramisu (with a small appetizer served by them at the beginning and a pre-dessert).

19/03/2026: Arriving on a motorcycle tour, I stumbled upon this small town where time seems to slow down... In the square, children are playing soccer. I entered this restaurant with its genuine soul almost by chance, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. From the moment you enter, you're immersed in a family-like and exceptional atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. Kindness and cordiality from times gone by. The traditional dishes have almost lost flavors, and the prices are truly fair—in fact, I'd say extremely fair—for the quality offered. It's the ideal place for a regenerating break, a sublime journey of taste that inebriated me in moments. I will definitely return as soon as I'm in the area again: I absolutely want to relive such a special moment. Highly recommended, because even more renowned places have never given me such a touching experience in every sense.

04/05/2026: A restaurant right in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia. The center itself is charming, and the restaurant is equally charming, very well-maintained with stone walls. The staff are incredibly friendly! They were fully booked, and they were disappointed to find us a table. We left, and I believe the owner, Thomas, saw us from afar and said he'd managed to find us a spot, so we returned for dinner. They were truly super kind. Fast service, clean restaurant, and good food.

03/05/2026: Compliments to the entire place!! The waitress and wait staff were superb! Perhaps the best table service I've ever experienced in terms of kindness and helpfulness. My two-year-old was treated like a prince, with smiles and games, and the staff attentive to his every need. The food was all truly excellent! I didn't have time to take photos of my full plate because everything was so good 🤣 A very beautiful and distinctive place for its location and setting. We'll definitely be back!!

05/04/2026: Delicious food, flavors and preparation reminiscent of grandmothers or mothers' Sundays—exceptional. Don't expect a fancy or gourmet restaurant, that's not what you'll find, but honest and delicious dishes. Lots of gluten-free options, expertly presented by the excellent staff. We came twice in a row to try more of their menu. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

15/01/2026: Excellent cuisine! The staff is professional, accommodating, and friendly, even with the little ones. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, cooked with imagination and flavor. The portions are generous, with a first course and a second course, plus a side dish. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality of the dishes. There are only a few seats, but there's no disturbance between tables. Excellent!

23/09/2025: A very beautiful place, with divinely prepared typical Maremma dishes. We had Maremma ravioli with wild boar ragu, fillet steak with porcini mushrooms, and wild boar cacciatore. Everything was delicious. Due to bad weather, we couldn't dine on the outdoor terrace; the tables are spread across various levels with a view of the valley, truly beautiful. Highly recommended.

17/09/2025: A friend highly recommended it to us. The place is located in Tirli, a small village nestled in the hinterland between Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala. The sea view is stunning, and the tagliatelle, wild boar ragu, and onion crostini are excellent.

08/04/2026: Very nice little shop. Pizza by the slice to take away or whole pizzas to order. Very friendly owner! The only place we could get farinata around here.

11/04/2026: We ate here two days ago with two adults and two children. The service was incredibly friendly despite the language barrier. They really made sure we were comfortable. The service was quick, and our food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. I can't understand why it doesn't have top ratings.

17/10/2025: Lots of smoke and not enough flavor... a huge disappointment, hair on the table (€4 cover charge). The vegetables and lemon were subpar, the sea bream was next to good quality, the service was superficial... the wait staff was very stressed... This is precisely why it was disappointing; overall, the price and quality were not in balance. It's a shame.

13/10/2025: A beautifully located restaurant with excellent food. The view of the marina adds to the delight. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The dishes are rather expensive but excellently presented and offer a unique flavor. A visit is worthwhile.

01/10/2025: I was in the area for work and stayed at Iris for two nights with my colleagues, and I have to say that if we ever get back to the area, we'd definitely want to stay there. Excellent service, courtesy, and friendliness, excellent and plentiful food with a wide variety of choices, including simple and protein-rich dishes, just the way I like them. I highly recommend it; everything was top-notch!
