We had the most amazing experience here today. The sweetest Italian lady took care of us, and even though she didn’t speak any English, she made it work so effortlessly — honestly it made the whole experience even more special 🥹
The food? Unreal. One of those meals you keep thinking about hours later. I’m convinced you could point at anything on the menu and it would be incredible.
Pro tip: bring a translator (Google Translate will be your best friend 😂), but don’t let the language barrier scare you — it’s 100% worth it.
I would eat here every single day if I could

01/05/2026: A truly beautiful place located at the entrance to the medieval village, very spacious, beautifully laid out, and extremely friendly.
Quick service and delicious dishes.
The gnocchi were excellent, the chickpea soup was delicious, and the chickpeas were well-cooked. Usually, you risk finding them raw, but these were perfect. The eggplant tart was exceptional, and the white wine was good.
Truly well done.

30/12/2025: Every time my partner and I come to Maremma, we have at least one aperitivo at Golosofia. The owners are kind and welcoming; they personally try and select all the products in their wine shop. All are Tuscan, especially from the Maremma. Yesterday, in addition to two glasses of wine, we also ordered a platter of game cured meats. Everything was excellent. And at a great price. We highly recommend it, not only for the quality but also for the splendid view of Sovana's main square.

Good food and friendly service.
10/04/2026: The toilet was out of order. We waited an hour for pasta with an oversalted tomato and garlic sauce that had no garlic. It tasted like supermarket tomato sauce with way too much salt. There was no grated cheese with the pasta.

31/01/2026: I visited Hosteria del Borgo during a trip to Maremma and had a divine meal. I especially recommend the ribollita, the gnudi (stuffed with ricotta and spinach, no pasta), and the pici, simply delicious. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommended if you're passing through!

15/04/2026: Nice ambience , the wine is good ,but the one I chose was out of stock. The prices were a little higher, so we expected good quality, the pappardelle were extremely over salted, I do not like to complain so I ate it, but when the waiter asked how was the meal, I said that it was very over salted, he checked in the kitchen and came back and said that there was a mistake with the pasta water that there was too much salt. He offered some ice cream but I asked for sorbet. We paid the bill, no apology or discount at point of payment. A lesson to be learnt,is that if you have a problem, fix it before it leaves your restaurant, or it will come back to bite you on the backside. We did not enjoy it, but you may be more lucky. My wife did not complain about her meal, but it was over salted also.

For lunch today we rediscovered the flavors we love!!!!
Simone, the chef, is a sure thing.
The restaurant, one of a kind, offers a very pleasant atmosphere with welcoming and kind staff. It also features a temperature-controlled cellar stocked with a wide variety of wines.
Recommended, we'll be back very soon.

28/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo agriturismo, io e mio marito a pranzo durante un giro in Maremma. Ottima la qualità dei cibi e prezzo davvero conveniente. Da non perdere se si viene da queste parti! In giardino sono presenti sdraio e lettini per rilassarsi immersi nella natura! Punto vendita di prodotti biologici… Complimenti!🔝

11/07/2025: Buona pizza, posto molto caratteristico, servizio gentile, un'atmosfera magica nell'antico borgo di Sovana. Si sta bene all'aperto nonostante il clima caldo. Prezzi giusti.
18/05/2025: Proprio ieri sera ho ordinato due pizze da asporto alle 23.15 e i ragazzi molto gentili e altrettanto disponibili mi hanno accontentato!!!!!! Pizza ottima! Ricca, ben condita!!!!! Grandissimi tutti specialmente Eleonora che fa' i caffè! Tornerò sicuramente !!! 👍👍👍👋
