04/04/2024: First time I go to this restaurant, Easter menu, excellent food, well presented and plentiful dishes, kindness and helpfulness, we really had a great time, prices more than honest, given that it was Easter day. What can I say? Super recommended

27/03/2024: I had never eaten it (we people from Mantua and Brescia) eat the stewed one (and it's a different part of the stomach) the one in this place is EXQUISITE, EXCELLENT, ENVELOPING, STUNNING, I would have done it again, Even if it was 4pm on afternoon. Very kind staff (we paid the right amount "even the forgotten sandwich"!) I hope to return as soon as possible....and....you go there...the sea isn't there but the sandwich makes you forget it!😂 😂😂😂😂

10/10/2023: I made a reservation via Instagram 1.5 months in advance for lunch and traveled from the U.S. to come here, driving all the way from Cetona where I'm staying. When I arrived, they informed me they are no longer serving lunch on Tuesdays and were pretty rude to me until I proved the error was theirs. I had brought my family with me and it was embarrassing for me. They gave me a bottle of wine to pacify me but honestly it's common courtesy for an establishment to let you know about a change like this ahead of time. This inconvenience affected the timing for the rest of our days plans as well. I wouldn't recommend making the effort to come here if they can't be reliable when you even make a reservation.

03/04/2024: A great discovery in this authentic trattoria nestled in the heart of the village. Home cooking, hearty and tasty. Simple and generous dishes. The customers are regulars, that’s no mistake. Efficient and fast service. Very fair prices. We highly recommend this hospitable and timeless place.

28/12/2023: Dear Manager, if a bus driver stops with 40 people, have an eye for the driver because we know of honest service areas, and above all after having made me pay €8 for a sandwich and a coffee, at least have the honesty to make the right receipt not only for the coffee, for this time you can move on to the next...... Not recommended for groups and tourist buses

03/12/2023: We stopped today for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised, externally a large shed with picnic tables and benches and as many tables scattered in a beautiful plot of land embellished with truly period objects, internally the two owners immediately welcomed us (??) with a double good morning we order a coffee (very good), we use the bathroom which is very well kept and clean and then turning inside the bar we see and buy some local specialties, then we see the cured meats counter for snacks .......well, we indulged ourselves there, moral, we left with 2 shopping bags full of delicacies, I must say not cheap, but you know, you pay for quality, in summary it's worth the stop and we will definitely be back!!! P.S. there are also rooms to spend a few hours of rest!!!!!

07/12/2023: È stata un'esperienza eccezionale, Stefano il proprietario ci ha allietato con aneddoti piacevoli, Paola la cuoca ha preparato dei piatti semplici ma gustosi. Bravi! Se torneremo sarà sicuramente una tappa obbligata ma piacevole fare una sosta alla locanda del cassero. Grazie ancora Stefano e Paola!

22/11/2023: Senza dubbio il locale più caratteristico della nostra vacanza in Toscana! Una cena che sicuramente porteremo nei nostri ricordi per l'originalità del proprietario, per gli ottimi piatti preparati dalla cuoca e per aver letteralmente condiviso la cena con gli altri ospiti incontrati quella sera! Un'esperienza da consigliare, bravi!

06/04/2024: As a long-time customer I believe I can give my opinion in a completely objective manner. This morning I booked a takeaway of sandwiches and fried foods as usual. Everything works perfectly, service as always impeccable. However, given the increased cost of the sandwich (11.50 compared to the 10 that can fit) we found ourselves with shrunken sandwiches and with few ingredients inside. I hope it was a single episode.

02/04/2024: 2nd of april 2024 around 15.00. I know my review won't make a difference nor be heard or read by the owners but must leave a negative review. My gf (non Italian speaker) and I (Italian speaker) were waiting for around 20 minutes to get the receipt. While we were close to the till my gf stared to look for a free table..she had found a table and a very rude waiter asked her in a very rude way to stand up without really listening to her reasoning. I then approached the waiter in Italian asking why she would ask a customer to stand up after queuing 20 minutes and while her partner was close to the till. She rudely answered me by saying that it was the rule. I was forced (not by them) to leave the premises due to the way My gf was rudely treated by an unfortunately ignorant waiter who couldn't even politely express herself in English We would have probably come back a couple of times as we were staying around the area for a short holiday in the area.

28/02/2024: L'ambiente è raffinato...già guardando i prodotti in vendita dietro il bancone si evince la loro volontà di FARE BENE il loro lavoro!! Scelta vastissima di prodotti sia dolci che salati... ma di una qualità migliore del solito bar. Bravi davvero! Ottimo cibo, personale gentile e competente nel dare indicazioni e suggerimenti. Locale e bagno pulitissimi. Vado di rado a Siena, ma la tappa da loro è sicura!!

02/11/2023: A Paganico il Castelluccio è ormai un'istituzione con quasi 40 anni di attività. Il cibo è sempre buono e di alta qualità, la cortesia è di casa, il tutto ad un prezzo onesto. Provare per credere......
