30/07/2026: We dined at this wonderful restaurant in Manciano and were absolutely thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable, but it's the food that truly makes the difference. ​We started with exceptional first courses: the pappardelle with wild boar ragù was flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the paccheri with eggplant, cherry tomatoes, and fresh ricotta was an explosion of freshness and flavor. ​For the main course, the wild boar stew was incredibly tender and rich in flavor, accompanied by crispy roasted potatoes scented with rosemary. A true delight for the palate! ​And to round things off, we couldn't miss the dessert: a brownie with vanilla and berry ice cream, garnished with fresh fruit. A perfect ending to a superb dinner. ​If you're looking for authentic Tuscan cuisine, prepared with high-quality ingredients and passion, Rifugio in Manciano is the ideal place. Five well-deserved stars! We can't wait to return. It must be said that they use quality and genuine products.

15/05/2026: A charming place with welcoming staff, you feel right at home, starting with Renzo, the owner, and his wife, Barbara, who runs the kitchen. We had previously stayed here with a friend and were happy to return, enjoying two relaxing days. I have to share a story that happened, but I'd love to share it with everyone. We arrived by motorbike in terrible weather, rain, etc., but even though the restaurant was closed, they offered us lunch, which is truly remarkable and never taken for granted. Thank you so much. 12/06/2026: A truly idyllic restaurant that I highly recommend! The food was excellent! The owners are very friendly and offer more daily specials than what's listed on the menu. We didn't have a reservation and were there with our child and dog, but we were seated immediately. Definitely worth a visit!

04/07/2026: 📍 Logbook – Roccastrada There are days when you clock up the miles, visit construction sites, and meet clients. And then comes the time for a break, when the region expresses itself through a dish. This stop takes me to La Rosa Blu, in Roccastrada. I order tagliatelle with wild boar sauce. But forget the classic ragù. Here, the wild boar takes center stage: slow-cooked meat, with a bold yet balanced flavor, without being overpowered by the tomato sauce. The tagliatelle, strictly homemade, absorb that sauce like only true artisanal pasta can. It's one of those dishes that don't try to impress. They simply tell the story of the Maremma, the authentic one. And that's also why I love business trips: because between paperwork, a plant, and a site visit, there's always a place or a flavor worth remembering. If you pass through Roccastrada, make a note of it.

05/12/2025: My partner and I were passing through Grosseto and discovered this restaurant by chance. The place is small but cozy, warm, and very quaint. The owner is very kind, empathetic, and attentive to his customers. The menu is lovely, well-stocked, with several Maremma specialties. The food is truly excellent. Highly recommended!

29/07/2026: Right next to the restaurant is a beautiful stretch of beach. Sun loungers can be conveniently booked at the bar in the entrance area. At €20 for a parasol and two loungers, the value for money is excellent and more affordable than many nearby providers. There's plenty of space between the loungers, so you can enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. The beach is very clean, with fine sand and a gently sloping shoreline – ideal for families with children. Free toilets and showers are also available. For younger guests, there's also a trampoline, a small pool, and a volleyball court. The entire resort is particularly child-friendly. We can also highly recommend the restaurant: the food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. A big thank you to all the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, polite, and attentive. Thanks to this wonderful place, we had a truly fantastic and wonderful beach experience. We'd love to come back!
