It's an experience to dine at this restaurant...the food is excellent and Leo is truly welcoming and pleasant! I recommend it if you're in the area.

The food (mainly seafood) and wine were exquisite, fresh, and local. The location also leaves nothing to be desired, with a sea view and a very welcoming interior. Furthermore, the service was quick, friendly, and excellent. Finally, I couldn't help but say a word about Leo, whose warm welcome truly made all the difference. Thanks again!

A small restaurant overlooking the harbor with two truly pleasant outdoor tables. Perhaps it was the rain that made everything magical, or perhaps it was the owner's kindness, but we had a wonderful time. We arrived late and they didn't make a fuss; I think the kitchen stays open until 3 pm. Two special first courses, a good fried dish, a very good dessert, and a refreshing sparkling white wine. Fairly priced. What more could you ask for?

What can I say? A truly brilliant little place, delicious food, excellent service, small but warm atmosphere, good value for money, I'm satisfied and I recommend it, it's worth booking.

We were welcomed on the fly at 2:30 PM on New Year's Eve and treated like family. We sampled a superb sauté of mussels and clams and truly remarkable fried shrimp, followed by two fried fish and calamari dishes, so delicious and light they seemed to be fried in a cloud. The house wine was very good even without a label, and the homemade desserts were a fitting end to a lunch that proved to be a real end-of-year surprise. Our compliments and a Happy New Year to the owner and staff, who were kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. The price was incredibly moderate for the quality and courtesy. We'll definitely be back.

04/05/2026: The staff is always available and very courteous. The dishes are plentiful and of excellent quality. Compliments for the pici all'aglione and the wild boar. The prices are in line with the quality of the food. Another thing not to be missed is the chestnut jam.
03/05/2026: I had lunch at Barilotto with my family and I must say it was a pleasant discovery. The food was excellent, authentic, and plentiful. The staff was courteous and helpful. The house red wine was very good, and the prices were average. I recommend booking well in advance as the place isn't very large and is always very busy. If I ever return to Santa Fiora, I will definitely have lunch here again. A special shout out to Mario, a nice, kind, and helpful guy.

19/04/2026: My wife and I dined at this trattoria on April 18, 2026, based solely on reviews (we weren't familiar with it). We must say that the restaurant and the manager, Mr. Marco, lived up to our expectations and were very courteous. The restaurant was clean, the menu was clear, and the dishes we tried were excellent (wild boar cacciatore with baked potatoes). When we return to the Grosseto area, it will definitely be a pleasure to return.
07/04/2026: If you want to savor authentic Maremma cuisine in Grosseto, this trattoria is a must-see. The crostoni were truly excellent, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The pici with Cinta Senese ragù was simply spectacular: perfect pasta and a rich, flavorful, and authentic ragù. The house wine was a pleasant surprise, truly delicious and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The service is typical of a trattoria: honest, sincere, and genuine, making you feel immediately at ease. The place is small and rustic, but precisely for this reason, warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back! 🍷🍝
