05/06/2025: Best Gelato in Florence! There is a wide range of Flavours such as pecorino cheese and olive oil. The fruit tastes beautiful and is freshly sourced and made fresh every day. The Granita is the best I have ever had it is so fruity and Authentic. The owner is very helpful when choosing flavours and a kind lady.

04/06/2025: This is the best gelato place in Tuscany! Very authentic and flavorful!! The cannoli is also phenomenal with ricotta filling. I wish I found this place sooner!!

03/05/2025: A wonderful surprise to eat in this place that smells like an old tavern with the innkeeper, the legendary Duccio, who serves you with a glass in hand always ready to toast with you. Excellent red wine, excellent food which changes every week according to the season and excellent quality/price ratio. We had a great time and moreover we danced together with the Cantamaggio on May 1st who cheered us up with their traditional popular songs. Truly an unforgettable day! Thanks Duccio!

21/05/2025: After an excellent lunch with the family we decided to return in the evening. We tried both meat and fish dishes. Excellent service and courtesy, and particular attention to allergies. We will definitely return

17/05/2025: Stumbled upon this amazing location when walking to one of our city tours. Super accommodating team who spoke english to give their recommendations. Hands down, our best meal since coming to Italy. Authentic dishes and so much food! Our family enjoyed the classics that they are known for, the Bistecca "Alla fiorentina" Fiorentine T- bone, day's special of grilled sea bass, Tagliatelle funghi* porcini (Tagliatelle with mushrooms*), Spaghetti alla carrettiera (Spaghetti with tomato garic red chilly pepper). The server brought the sea bass to the table in the roasting pan with a fresh plate to debone and serve in front of us. What a flavorful dish. The legendary Bistecca Alla Florentina was a show stopper. I chose the zucchini flowers as my side. Everyone enjoyed the side, simply delightful. How full and fulfilled we were at the end of our meal. Thank you for such hospitality and amazing dining experience.

18/05/2025: During our holiday in Barberino we had pizza, pasta and more delicious food a few times. Really all delicious. Very friendly service and nice chef. Got a drink on the house. Go there and eat and enjoy!!

14/05/2025: Food and service were great. We got the cannelloni, wild boar pappardelle, florentine steak with spinach and potatoes and chicken cacciatore. The steak was really rare but I think that’s just how the Florentine steak is served.

03/05/2025: We didn’t have a reservation and they were fully booked out but because we got there at opening at 7pm the host gave us a table which wasn’t reserved until 8:45pm which was so nice and lots of time for us to eat our meal!! We ate right at the front of the restaurant which was a little too quiet. I think if we’d been more in the back the atmosphere would’ve been perfect. That being said it was beautiful and the gnocchi we had was incredible. The Florentine steak (even the portion for 1 was enough for 2) was good as well and the roasted potatoes were INSANE. I almost dropped to my knees they were so good. Overall a beautiful, more upscale place that I’d recommend to anyone - just book a reso!!

30/01/2025: A super experience! We took a tour of the cellars, a wine tasting and an excellent cooking class with Eduardo (Eddie). The 14thC Castello is worth visiting even without the cooking class, a great way to spend an afternoon in Eduardo's capable hands. So good we are going back in a few months!

21/05/2025: I’ve had two fantastic meals here. Each 15 years apart. The owner must have changed but the experience was still fantastic. A really great option for a special meal at decent prices. Some inventive takes on classic Italian dishes.

17/05/2025: A typical restaurant, away from the tourist crowds. A magnificent open kitchen allowing us to watch the chefs cook. I recommend the spaghetti "alla chiantigiana" which is truly excellent! It's been a long time since I've been so enthusiastic about a pasta dish.

26/05/2025: Trattoria tipica mugellana, a conduzione familiare, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. Veramente caratteristico (camino nella sala) e ampia veduta molto bella. Cibo ottimo (particolarmente i tortelli)

18/05/2025: We happened upon it by chance one Sunday during one of our motorbike tours. Small and characteristic trattoria in the town centre with courteous and helpful staff. Typical Tuscan menu and Florentine steak 🔝. Truly one of the most tender and tasty meals we have ever had. 😋 Highly recommended 😃

17/05/2025: Another dinner at this restaurant that I must say did not excite me as other times. Spaghetti with clams and bottarga with the pasta a little al dente and not of great quality and the overall flavor nothing special (however, the quantity of clams was remarkable). Pizza without infamy and without praise (both as a pasta and as ingredients)

21/05/2025: A great place for an aperitif. For €9, you get a drink (choose from Aperol, wine, beer, etc.) and a plate of fried food. The food was very good quality and had a large portion, perfect for hanging out with friends.

09/05/2025: We ordered two sprizze with two small portions of mixed fried food, although they were excellent we didn't eat all the types served. At the checkout, with amazement, they wanted not to include in the bill a portion of extra olives that we had ordered, regretful for not having finished the two dishes.
