21/10/2025: It was wonderful to be in a place that doesn't exist for tourists. We didn't make a reservation and were kindly seated near the entrance. The service was Italian-relaxed, warm but unpretentious. The menu is a bit unusual at first, with lots of game, rabbit, and more local dishes. But boy, was it delicious! The prices were also really good, though the beer was unfortunately expensive and not on tap (but then, the beer-loving Germans speak for themselves ;) )

12/10/2025: Excellent, Chiara and Giulio, top notch. We love you, always in our hearts. The drinks are excellent; we've only had those for now. I once had fries, and they were delicious, and the pizzas look very inviting. Warm and friendly atmosphere.

10/05/2026: We really enjoyed our dinner tonight. The location looks out over the Tuscan hills above Florence. Easy to get on the #7 bus to Fiesole, but also easy to park if you have a car—far different to parking closer to the center of Florence. The food and wine were phenomenal. The menu has a wide variety of delicious options from seafood to delicious steak. Even the side dishes—in our case, spinach were so delicious, I could not stop eating with second and third helpings. The quality of the food and the beautiful location make Le Lance worth visiting. As an American, it is great to get away from the gaggle of tourists and enjoy a restaurant visited by Italians. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

09/05/2026: Friendliness and quality. We chose this restaurant for lunch in the hills of Fiesole and couldn't have asked for anything better. From the moment we arrived, we felt an atmosphere of absolute peace, far from the chaos of the city and with excellent background music. From the very first contact with the owner, we found him to be completely available for our family celebration. The location is breathtaking: eating with such a privileged view of Florence and the surrounding hills is worth the trip alone. The restaurant is meticulously designed, very elegant and refined. The food was a real surprise. We chose a tasting menu and were satisfied even though it wasn't scheduled on the day and we arrived significantly late. The welcome was warm and friendly. The ingredients were extremely fresh and of excellent quality. We tried first courses that tasted traditional, but with a truly interesting gourmet twist. The meat was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The wine list also deserves a special mention, with an excellent selection of local products and valuable advice from maître d' Serafino. The service was impeccable: the staff is young, knowledgeable, and very friendly, never intrusive but always present, especially the young woman coordinating the service. In short: if you're looking for a place where good food meets an unforgettable view and a genuine welcome, this is the place. We'll definitely be back, perhaps for a sunset! Highly recommended!

11/01/2026: Lovely owners and a beautiful restaurant! Ordered a mushroom and sausage pizza and it was cooked perfectly. We at outdoors but we were so surprised when we went inside to use the restroom. The interior of the restaurant is decorated is a beautiful blue with white marble and glass. Very charming and sparkling clean!

18/05/2026: Today is the third time my order has been canceled on Justeat, making me wait 20 minutes and canceling at the last minute. Remove yourself from the app if you don't take orders.

25/04/2026: I go there often with both family and friends. The pizza is always excellent, a guarantee, and the staff is always polite and helpful!

12/04/2026: We were passing through and, given the good reviews, decided to spend the evening at Perseus. The appetizers were good and the Florentine steak was excellent. But the service was a bit poor.

28/09/2025: I was here on March 15, 2025, and where do I begin? Everything about this shop is wrong. The staff was unacceptably rude, and I was insulted for no reason after asking a question. They forced us to sit down, telling us we were required to sit at a table to consume what we'd ordered, without mentioning the exorbitant cover charge. €1.50 for poor service and even worse food. When we went to pay, the price had practically doubled, and when I complained, given the lack of transparency, I was disrespectfully told that "it was my problem." Absurd. Hygiene was completely lacking, with trash and insects everywhere, and the bathrooms were covered in feces and urine on the walls and floors. Conditions that would make even the local health authority shudder. Then, looking at the responses to the reviews, you can see the profound ignorance and incivility of whoever manages the online page. A person has the right to know whether there's a cover charge and how much it costs before paying. The point isn't whether they can afford it or not, but that it's wrong and immoral to defraud customers. At worst, you're the ones who humiliate yourself for an extra €1.50 by only showing higher prices at the end, losing customers and respect for just €1.50. Pathetic. I saw that in response to a review from someone who'd had the same experience as me, the person who responded to the critic, undoubtedly poorly educated and profoundly rude, wrote, "If you can't afford a coffee, stay home." If you can't afford to keep a shop open without a €1.50 cover charge, then stay home and close the shop. Clearly, if you feel the need to defraud people for so little, you're in dire financial straits and need a different kind of help. A disgrace.
