31/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati per tappa pranzo nel lungo viaggio Nord-Sud. Proprio all'uscita autostradale. Un'ottima alternativa all'autogrill. Spendi un po' di più, ma guadagni in qualità, atmosfera e servizio: chianina e altre carni alla brace buonissime, contorni di verdura della tradizione locale e cantucci fatti dal pasticcere sotto i vostri occhi. Il servizio è efficiente e molto amichevole.

30/07/2025: Un ristorante che sembra per viandanti di passaggio ma in realtà nasconde una vena commerciale importante. Tanta fila che si esaurisce in 20 minuti o meno . Carne molto buona (preso la chianina), ma il consiglio è : non vi fate suggestionare troppo dai camerieri (sempre comunque gentili e cordiali) e scegliete voi. Conto: la carne buona di paga!

21/07/2025: Excellent gelato, truly artisanal. If you stop by often, there are always new flavors to try. The girls are very kind, and last but not least, parking is always convenient.

16/07/2025: Truly a hidden gem. Was a random find for us. Gelato was great with really big portion size. Staff was friendly with well spoken english. the place does not look like much from outside but there were also some locals with kids and together with the fact that it was not dressed up to be fancy it gave a really authentic wibe.

24/07/2025: Tourist place - everyone stands in line at the window with wine, only they give everything in plastic cups. We had dinner, the food was quite average - the chicken, it seems, was fried in secondary oil, it was salty, as well as baked potatoes. I would not repeat it again.

17/07/2025: Excellent food, delicious drinks, and superb staff. We walked in with seven people (three kids) at 6:00 PM, without a reservation, on a busy summer evening, but we were still helped. All the staff are very friendly, humorous, and approachable. The restaurant is a mix of tourists and locals with a lovely atmosphere and good music. The ambiance and decor are also very beautiful. The menu is diverse and varied, yet everything is freshly prepared. This is highly recommended!

16/07/2025: Amazing place with even betrer staff. Food was everthing you could expect. Ecen if you go here at a time when kitchen is closed before the evening they have amazinf pizza in slices and various deserts available. Wibes from the garden tables are amazing in the evening. We came back here multiple times during our stay in the region.

28/07/2025: Antica Trattoria del Turbone is a place to come, time and time again. A restaurant with excellent quality ingredients, prepared with care and passion. A wide variety of select meats; you can admire them all from their refrigerator and are excellently explained by the staff. The atmosphere is very familiar and the service is excellent; you feel pampered, just like at home. Excellent value for money.

26/07/2025: I had the grilled fillet that was recommended and a glass of wine for 10 euros. I think the people who gave low ratings probably haven't tried aged meat overseas or don't know how to eat meat. The aged meat was perfect and the rare grilling was perfect. The salt on the meat was also of great quality. The potatoes and vegetables were also really delicious. If you don't like the fascia, cut it against the fascia and take a big bite. The rare meat juice bursts. And the price is amazing considering the quality of the meat. 300g for 45 euros? I couldn't believe it. In fact, 3 hours ago, I was really upset because I was discriminated against in another area for bread, but the two women working here were so kind that I was grateful. 04/08/2025: It's been almost 15 years since you were last here... So it's interesting to see if it's still as good as it used to be. The decor is almost as pared down and rustic as before. Only now it's even more simple. It's a shame, it lacks charm. The waiters are friendly, but their manners are very reserved... One must not forget that there are a lot of tourists here, and the mood isn't always great. But the food was, just like back then, good, simple Tuscan cuisine. The prices are reasonable. Considering that this area is teeming with tourists, it was relaxed and pleasant.

26/07/2025: The WORST Dining Experiences in Florence! My friend (a young Asian woman with long, straight black hair) found a short, curled, dark brown hair in her black truffle cream pasta—definitely not hers. She pointed it out right away. The waiter brushed it off and said, “That’s just truffle.” Her friend even picked the hair out with a fork and placed it on the plate edge to show him clearly. Then the chef (or maybe the owner) came over. Instead of taking it seriously, he tried to wipe the hair away with his finger like he was trying to cover it up!! After he wiped off the hair, he looked her in the eye and questioned her, “Where? There’s no hair.” We were all SHOCKED. Nobody said a word. It was only after seeing our silence that he came back and said, unwillingly, “I’ll get you another one.” Still no apology, no explanation, nothing. We all supported our friend, who stayed calm through it all though she couldn’t speak any Italian. She even had a photo of the dish before eating—the hair is clearly visible. The way he treated her—like she didn’t matter—felt incredibly disrespectful. Would the response have been the same if she were older? Or even not Asian? It really made us question their attitude toward younger travelers and people of color. This wasn’t just about finding a hair. It was about how badly the situation was handled. No basic respect, no responsibility. Just denial and blame. If this happened to your friend, how would you want it handled? Think twice before eating here.

29/05/2025: Super cozy wine bar just outside the Mercato Centrale! Through the colonnade you sit very quietly just behind the market and the owner can help you very well with choosing a good wine!

28/04/2025: Impressive selection of wines, including natural and orange, and delicious snacks, all at reasonable prices given the quality. The interior is cute.

15/06/2025: Excellent meal...pleasant and homely from the moment I walked in. Like going by an old friend for lunch and old talk. The mixture of locals, friends and tourists let me know quickly this was going to be a quality meal which did not disappoint. I did the stewed beef ravioli ( amazing!) and the skirt steak with white beans ( also amazing!) and for dessert the small cheese plate. Every bite was perfect and the recommended wine pairings were nothing short of excellent. I honestly would go do it all over again. A truly satisfying meal!! Kudos to the chef and staff!

09/06/2025: The food was nice, we ordered the Florentine steak, which was cooked rare, and a bit of a struggle to eat. And ordering wine was an odd experience where you have to go to the bar to choose what you want to drink.

05/08/2025: The pizza and its ingredients were excellent. We ordered two appetizers and three pizzas, since there were three of us. Quality ingredients and a very soft pizza, not at all heavy but very filling. A touristy place in one of the nicest areas of Florence. If you're looking for a larger space, this is the place to go. Friendly staff and average service. I loved the place and the food. It was recommended to me, and I recommend it too.

27/07/2025: Oh, without a doubt, the best pizza of my life. We were four people in the group, and each one ordered a different pizza. Honestly, mine was the most basic one, with tomato, cheese, and basil. Simple but exquisite, the best pizza of my life, really! Don't hesitate to go to this place; it's a sure bet!

16/07/2025: We walked in here at 9:30pm, and had our best pasta so far in Italy! I really like mine and it was so unique. Will definitely come back here! It was so delicious!! I almost cried when I ate it😭This shop was on the recommendation list of our B&B owner. Since it was not far away, we thought we would try our luck (and most of the reviews were in Italian) It was really worth it😭My rabbit meat wide pasta was super delicious. Please forgive me for my lack of words. There are really no words to describe the feeling at the moment. I can only say that this is the most unforgettable pasta in my 12-day trip to Italy✨And the tiramisu, which is wrapped in chocolate, is really a genius idea. Chef... Thank you... The dishes are really delicious... I must come back to eat when I visit Florence next year
