27/05/2025: Must try the crostini alla romana Historic pizzeria in Lastra a Signa. The management has changed over the years but the quality remains. Above all, the staff is kind, helpful and give the impression of being hard workers.

18/05/2025: I was here for a birthday. We had a huge appetizer with various things and then each one chose a first and a second course. Appetizers with incredibly good and quality products, the schiacciata is fabulous! The first courses were also very good. The second courses, apart from the chicken, were soaked in oil...the bottom of the tray had at least a finger of oil. Of course, they were good but many of us started dabbing it with our forkfuls. Anyway, everything was excellent quality and tasty. Quiet and green place, I will definitely go back ☺️

01/04/2025: Some tastes were really really good, but some of them were so-so. Anyway almost every tastes with chocolate were definitely thumb-up! Gelato is always the love, so five stars! Unfortunately, there are some differences in quality between flavors. Still, the chocolate flavor is so delicious that I give it a thumbs up! One way or another, gelato is love, so five stars!

09/06/2025: Yesterday, my partner and I went to eat at this fabulous restaurant and we ate very well! An appetizer with pecorino, a 1.2 Florentine steak and, to finish, two amazing homemade desserts! They were also very kind to my guide dog, we will definitely go back next time we are in Florence!

07/06/2025: We tried the tasting menu.... everything was delicious, the pappa al pomodoro was amazing... the staff was super friendly and fast. The Chianti from the Antinori winery was highly recommended.

The last purchase was a trio of pecorino cheese, chilli pepper, pepper and truffle and a finocchiona and it was yet another confirmation of the goodness and freshness of the products. Home delivery is very convenient, considering that we are more than 100 km away! I highly recommend it, quality, professionalism and good prices 👍

21/05/2025: I wanted to like the place - it was a decent hike up to get there, especially with a baby. However the fact that the lady working there was really insisting on tips when I was paying with my credit card (she even entered the tip amount herself after my first card didn't work and when I was trying to pay with another one) spoilt the experience. But the worst thing was that they added an extra 20 euro dish to our bill that we never ordered, which I only noticed later. I realized they never even gave me to see the bill properly and showed it from the distance before entering the amount into the machine, but I asked for the receipt after there was some issue with the payment, and looked at it only after we left. I called them and talked to the owner (I think) and asked to be reimbursed that amount. He first looked eager to send the amount back but after I told him I had a Canadian card and no IBAN, he disappeared and never reimbursed the amount. To be fair, the food was decent and the views are nice, although they were not allowing anyone to sit near the windows with the view since they are for those who made a reservation only (and they were all completely empty). So we couldn't even see the view from where we were seated. So be careful and check your bill!

23/09/2024: Fantastic dinner. We had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday night and it was wonderful. We trusted the reviews, because we are from another region, and I must tell you that they have never been more truthful than in this case. We have almost everything based on cod and it was like a blast from the past for the flavors and how it was cooked. Must try: Corteccia di mamma rosa... divine, as well as the fried cod and marinara style. A round of applause to the dining room staff, and especially to the girl who served us, who proved to be friendly and professional and who put us at ease. Finally, a hug to Mum Rosa, who despite her age is still in the kitchen and who, although we had never seen each other, came to greet us as if we were family friends.

10/05/2025: Prima volta in questo locale con amici. Pizza per tutti i gusti e con varietà di impasti. La pizza non è grandissima, ma cotta benissimo e saporita. Mi è veramente piaciuta, da riprovare.

09/05/2025: First pizza in Italy for my girlfriend and me: successful experience! The owners are top notch, the food excellent, and the menu very comprehensive. There is something for everyone: gourmets and simple lovers of Italian cuisine, small and big appetites alike! If you are passing through Florence, this is definitely an address not to be missed. Little crush on homemade cheesecake 🤌 Ciao!

07/05/2025: Very noisy inside and it was really hot. This is just my opinion, but as a French person, I found the margherita better in France than in this restaurant. It was still good, but not up to par with a pizza that claims to be authentically Italian!

Not to mention the Meat, from the first bite you can perceive the owner's passion in the search for the highest quality raw materials. A fixed stop every time I am in Florence for work.
