13/08/2024: Very traditional "trattoria", typical italian. Local and homemade food, as expected in this kind of restaurant. We had a very good "peposo", "pappardelle" (a wider tagliatella) with wildboar ragu, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms sauce, homemade cheese cakes. All very good and tasty, served fast and in traditional pans and pots. Fair price and kind service.

19/07/2024: Bambi Trippa e Lampredotto at Mercato Centrale in Florence is an absolute gem for anyone seeking authentic, traditional Florentine dishes. I had the pleasure of trying their Lampredotto and Insalata del Trippaio during lunch, and the flavors were out of this world. The mix of beef tongue, tripe, and beef uterus in the Insalata del Trippaio was surprisingly delicious. I am already looking forward to going back for dinner to explore more of their phenomenal dishes. Chris and Jonny provided exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Their explanation of the spot's history added an extra layer to the dining experience. I cannot recommend Bambi Trippa e Lampredotto highly enough. If you're in Florence, this is a must-visit destination for a taste of true Florentine cuisine. I rate it 12 out of 10!

30/08/2024: welcome appetizer of cured meats and cheeses (abundant considering it was for one person), 1.3kg of Florentine steak divided in two, a couple of salads to remove the fat, two coffees, two bottles of water. if you want to eat sitting down with the air conditioning, book a few days in advance, a suggestive environment and truly professional staff in managing the continuous influx of people.

24/07/2024: I recently dined at this restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed by their poor problem-solving skills. When we raised the issue of the slow service, a male waiter responded very impatiently, stating bluntly that it was just slow. He displayed a careless attitude and vented his frustration onto us, showing a complete lack of basic skills necessary for the service industry. As an individual, he also lacked basic manners and courtesy. The problem we faced was minor and could have been easily resolved. He could have checked with the kitchen or explained the reason for the delay, but instead, he brought his personal emotions to the table, making us feel unwelcome and ruining our dining experience. We do not expect servility from service staff, but basic politeness and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. If you plan to dine here, be prepared for extremely poor service and a negative dining atmosphere.

03/08/2024: Pizza was good. Service was okay.. the woman assisting at the counter was a bit agitated, she also charged my card 3 time saying the first time I ran my card didn’t work. I checked my online bank, that and the following two attempts certainly worked. Keep an eye out. Otherwise, device and food were okay.

25/06/2024: Nous avons pris des Cannoli, ils étaient très bons mais le vendeur (un vieux monsieur) qui nous les a vendu était exécrable. Même pas un bonjour quand on le salut, nous fait passer pour des abrutis et ne se gêne pas à montrer son mécontentement face à des étrangers . Ne recommande pas.

06/07/2024: Perfect trattoria just outside the tourist zone. Popular with i Fiorintini, there were two separate families dining when I ate here. The panna cotte alla mente e caffe was exceptionally good. Prices are reasonable, around the €10 mark for primi.

27/08/2024: Ho messo 4 perché i tagliolini al tartufo sapevano un po' di poco... Ma i pici all'aglione erano strepitosi, così come anche il peposo!!!! Non sarà stato di classe ma la scarpetta l'ho fatta! Ambiente soft e camerieri gentilissimi. Ci torneremo volentieri!

25/08/2024: We had been walking around Florence on a particularly hot day and had just come down from the Piazzale Michaelangelo. It was early evening and looking for somewhere nice for dinner. Luckily we found a table for 4 outside on the pavement at this nice establishment. The young waitress who greeted us was excellent. She spoke very good English and made us feel very much at home. She had recently returned from a vacation in Bavaria which she was happy to share with us. After ordering our drinks (I had a large local draft beer) I went for a beef strip meal with parmesan & rocket. It was delicious if rather on the modest, small size. The rest of the family had pasta and salad. I convinced our daughter to try the Negroni cocktail which, we discovered was invented in Florence. A fact that our waitress didn't know! It was delicious - packed full of alcohol. The chilled bottled water was a reasonable 2,00€ and the ubiquitous cover charge was only 1,50€ per person. In all, we left 60,00€ for the four of us which I thought was great given the fact that we were in Florence! Oh, and both our tired and hot dogs were well tolerated here. They offered some water which they lapped up thirstily.

09/08/2024: We found Tarocchi as we were descending the hill lookout, and were trying to find a place to eat. We were welcomed by friendly staff, who kindly served us in English. Food was excellent. Very good priced, with a separate menu for gluten free options. Atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. Would recommend for a meal anytime, but especially after some decent walking.

19/07/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo locale qualche giorno fa con una coppia di amici. All'aperto, vicino la piscina. Location bella ed elegante ma senza essere pomposa. Personale molto professionale. Le pietanze ordinate tutte buonissime con materie prime di qualità. Consigliato e sicuramente ritorneremo.

19/06/2024: Una domenica a pranzo davvero speciale. Con vista sui campi da golf, in una splendida giornata di sole, riesci veramente a rilassarti e a goderti il buon cibo! Abbiamo ordinato una buonissima tartare, preparata al tavolo dal cameriere secondo i nostri gusti, una cosa davvero carina e “di scena”. A seguire i pici al ragù bianco, qualcosa di eccezionale secondo i nostri gusti. Davvero complimenti a Marco e Giacomo e allo staff in generale! A presto!
