13/06/2026: Awesome Experience in Florence! True Dining at Lungarno 23 We had dinner last night at Lungarno 23, and I can only describe it as a truly amazing experience! It's pure and true dining. The service was excellent, courteous, and impeccable—a true example of hospitality. The cuisine is exceptional. We had the pleasure of trying several dishes, all of the highest quality. Among the many delights, we enjoyed: The roast beef, tender and cooked to perfection. A delicious, divine beef tartare. The fried gnocchi, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, served with delicious accompaniments, including truffle. The pappa al pomodoro, authentic and full of flavor. A selection of top-quality cured meats and cheeses, excellent! A juicy, uniquely flavorful hamburger! Thank you for making our holiday in Florence special ♥️

11/06/2026: A wonderful place where you can enjoy a delicious steak with the Duomo Cathedral right in front of you✨✨ Our servers, Daniel and Mimmo, were so kind in explaining the menu and the meat, which made the meal even more enjoyable👍 I highly recommend this place as a great spot for T-bone steak and a view in Florence lol

13/06/2026: Lunch for six in a jazz remix setting, served by the incredibly kind Leonardo who speaks French. All the dishes were magnificent, and the tiramisu was simply the best I've ever eaten!

13/06/2026: So, be careful, there's a bar and a restaurant, and I made a mistake in my previous review. We went to the restaurant and were greeted by Leonardo (he speaks excellent French! Don't hesitate to ask!). As a group of girls, he understood our desire to share, bringing us cutlery for six (haha). The food is excellent, kudos to the chef, and the portions are generous! Special mention goes to the Panzanella salad and the tiramisu. We had a lovely time; thank you to the whole team. Also worth noting, the dining room is air-conditioned and quiet, located in a side alley. A great place!

06/05/2026: Clearly, overpriced for what it is. The meat was nothing special, on par with a Buffalo Grill in France. I suppose you could call this restaurant a tourist trap. It's not bad, except for their utterly bland risotto, but it's not good either. There are much better options in Florence. Get out of the city center, away from the negative reviews of tourists, and find restaurants run by Italians, for Italians, that do justice to their cuisine.

15/06/2026: A beautiful place, definitely ideal for a group with children due to its open spaces. My experience is based on a lunch with several families, and I must say that perhaps because there were so many of us, the service was quite slow and I wasn't very enthusiastic about the menu, although everything was still enjoyable.

10/06/2026: Want to enjoy affordable and excellent food and drinks with a lovely view? Then this is the place to be! The wines are amazing and the monthly menu is highly recommended. More food than you can finish for a very reasonable price. We came back a few days later to pick up one of those delicious bottles of white wine. We wanted to experience that again.

18/05/2026: I had an excellent steak last night... but beyond the delicious food, I found myself in a familiar atmosphere, at a table with strangers who, through conversation, turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Fast service, super-friendly staff. In short...a true gem in Florence, far from the hyper-tourist hub of the city center, despite being a trattoria very close to the center. Thank you for the wonderful experience you gave me!

01/04/2026: Following the recommendations of the friendly and welcoming Peruvian waiter, I tried churrasco. The cooking level is adjusted to your liking, and it was exactly as I wanted. The baked potatoes served alongside were also delicious. For dessert, I tried budin de pan, but I wasn't very impressed. I would definitely recommend this place 👌

22/05/2026: We went to Antica Macelleria Cecchini in 2022 and honestly it was more like a huge family party than just dinner. Started out amazing with staff handing out glasses of Chianti right on the street. Once inside it was absolute chaos in the best possible way. Long tables, sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers who become friends by the end of the night. It was loud, busy and there was an endless amount of incredible meat coming out. Had such a blast. If you like your meat, you have to go here. One of the highlights of our Tuscany trip.

07/02/2026: Fuoco Matto is a restaurant where the quality of the dishes is paramount. The Irish rib eye steak is excellent, tender and flavorful, and the pizza is also exceptional, with a dough worthy of a Neapolitan pizza like few others in Florence. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere is spacious, clean, and welcoming. I'll definitely be back ❤️

The service was fast, attentive, and always available, and the atmosphere was welcoming and very pleasant. The buffet was also excellent, with plenty of fresh and well-prepared selections. A truly positive experience, ideal for a dinner with friends or family. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended!
