11/05/2026: The food is very good and authentic. The restaurant is somewhat hidden away, not on one of the main tourist streets. Prices are also OK for Florence. However, the payment process was a bit too touristy. We didn't ask for the bill. We didn't want coffee or espresso, and then the bill arrived, unprompted. This isn't particularly friendly and, as mentioned, feels very touristy. They wanted to quickly fill our table again, even though we were only there for about 1.5 hours, including dessert. The service itself, however, was very friendly.

10/05/2026: My wife and I had the pleasure of celebrating our birthdays here and received a warm welcome. I lived in Florence for several years and am a chef by profession. We discovered a traditional little restaurant where Florentines lovingly prepare their traditional dishes, and the attentive staff serves them with the same care and attention. The Bistecca Florentina was superb in both flavor and perfect doneness, and all the other dishes reflected the traditions of the region. The short wait on our second evening was made more pleasant with a glass of Prosecco, as we had forgotten to make a reservation. The drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired and features excellent wines from the region. You can taste the tradition and the love for the ingredients in every dish.
