16/06/2026: The new management of MA KE GELATO, as soon as you walk in, you immediately realize you're on another planet. It's the real way to make gelato, an excellent, flavorful product. I highly recommend the SALT gelato.

11/05/2026: Nice restaurant, a little too close to the road, which is annoying when cars pass by, but fortunately there aren't many. Wide selection, a bit touristy, considering that they also feature truffle and porcini mushroom dishes, served year-round. Average prices. The staff were friendly and smiling, making it a pleasure to spend a few hours at this restaurant for lunch.

16/05/2026: Fantastic Restaurant in Certaldo. The food was incredible. We had a Caprese salad. The Mozzarella and Tomatoes were delicious. Mains included the Cuttlefish Ravioli and Pici with Tomato and Garlic (which had this amazing sweetness). Both mains were top class. The restaurant was busy however that did not impact the service. Lots of vegetarian options. While we did not have the pizza, it looked delicious and large.

10/07/2026: Amazing food, service and ambiance. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality. The staff is helpful and the service if quite quick. I recommend booking in advance. One of the best spots in the area for sure.

17/05/2026: We stayed just one night on a half-board basis, and the dinner was phenomenal in terms of the quality of the dishes: Flavors beautifully combined with full flavors and incredibly inviting presentation 🤩 If anyone is still convinced that a completely plant-based cuisine can't satisfy and surprise the palate, I warmly invite you to visit Osteria del Vicario: their cuisine is ready to prove you wrong.

18/02/2026: Located in the historic center, the restaurant is nestled in the beautiful Tuscan hills. The directions are well-written in the reservation. Excellent service and interesting, diverse menu choices. The drinks menu is varied and offers many pairings. We also appreciated the alcohol-free cocktail options for those who don't drink. I can't speak for the accommodations, having only booked the restaurant for a romantic evening, which I must say was a complete success. Suitable for those already accustomed to plant-based cuisine, but also for those who truly want to explore the potential and flavor of combining cruelty-free ingredients. The price may be a bit high, especially if you opt for the various alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, but in my opinion, it's commensurate with the quality of the cuisine.

16/06/2026: Nice aesthetics, but that's where the good things end. Service could be questioned (missing cutlery and a waiter leaving our plates saying "you do it yourself"). The pizzas were nothing special, especially since they were extremely heavy. Plus, there was a mix-up of the toppings between two pizzas at our table, and their solution was to put the toppings from one pizza on top of the other, which obviously returned to the table cold. I wouldn't normally complain about that, but when yet another pizzeria does that, charging you sky-high prices because they have to pretend to be "gourmet," it's hilarious. Ultimately, these are pizzerias like there have always been; they just change the packaging to justify the high prices.

13/06/2026: Materia is a reference pizzeria in the area, unfortunately this time it disappointed expectations, probably the oven had not reached the ideal temperature, the dough had little flavor and the pizza was not very hydrated and consequently burned in some places, I have to be honest on previous occasions I had impressed the quality of the product but this time it was disappointing, I hope that this post can help us improve and never let our guard down, respect for the customer always comes first.

08/07/2026: Gelato has become my go-to lunch spot. New and classic flavors to try every day, the staff is very friendly, and the trifle is amazing! Recommended!

28/05/2026: We had a great stay. The hosts are very friendly. The terrace and pool feature a magical view of the Tuscan hills.

28/05/2026: We had an amazing stay at La Collina degli Olivi! The surroundings, the peace and quiet, the spotless room, the view, the pool… I could go on and on. We slept wonderfully thanks to the blackout curtains and well-insulated walls; it was incredibly quiet at night. The hosts are also fantastic: Patricia and Toni are incredibly kind, dedicated, and caring people. They provide a wonderful breakfast and share plenty of great tips about the region and local restaurants (definitely worth following their recommendations!). We highly recommend this place to everyone, it truly feels like paradise on earth :-)
