13/04/2026: A place that's so much more than just a restaurant. My family and I had dinner at Il Barretto and found a warm and authentic atmosphere that made you feel immediately at ease, right at home.
You can clearly sense the passion in the kitchen and the quality of the ingredients. We went for the Fiorentina and were more than satisfied! The meat was incredibly tender, melting in your mouth, incredible.
Finally, I wanted to focus especially on the service and sincerely thank the staff for their smiles, kindness, and attentiveness. Everything was impeccable. You are professionals.
We left with a wonderful feeling, that of having had an experience we absolutely want to repeat. We will be back soon, without a doubt.

18/04/2026: I can't say enough good things. The service ( Chino ), food and atmosphere was outstanding. This is our first trip to Italy, on our 7th day of our 14 day trip. This was the best food and service that we have had, I could have stayed all night. I have to thank Stefano PERUZZI for the recommendation, and the nicest jacket that I own now. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is visiting Florence. You would be crazy not to go. Won't let me give them 10 stars.

If anyone want to taste real Srilankan Cuisine this is the place. The customer service was excellent and Humble. The atmosphere was calm and homely and very hygienic. The food was just i dont have any words to explain how tasty it was. Heavenly food..thank you for the amazing food and amazing service. We will definitely be back ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

07/04/2026: They have a menu for 15.90e which involves one dish (pasta of the day, lasagna or cannelloni), a second dish (chicken roast, salad or beef roast) and coffee, but they charge you extra if you order a cappuccino. The beef roast was extremely chewy and bland, and the chicken roast was dry. The lighting in the bathroom is poor and the hygiene is not very good as well.
24/03/2026: Delicious food, excellent service, super nice owner. Everything is halal, both Indian and Italian. Excellent flavor.

A surprise that seems cut and shaped like a puzzle piece. Eggs, cheeses, vegetables, whole grain flours. An "out-of-town" offering, foreign to the urban context. Yet, in retrospect, it seems completely integrated.

They overcharged us for an Americano coffee and, when we asked for a refund, they refused to give us one. Furthermore, after we had already paid, they tried to change the bill, claiming that water was more expensive "because it was served at the table," something that wasn't indicated on the price list (which clearly stated €1.50).
The result: not only did they not correct their mistake, but they made us pay even more. Unprofessional service and a clear feeling of being scammed.
I absolutely do not recommend this place.

The lady at the cash register, the guy at the counter, and the guy serving tables are always cheerful and polite. ☀️
I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because of one unpleasant incident I witnessed... A lady there (I don't know if she's the owner) rudely called out a waitress, urging her to hurry up in an unkind tone.
I believe respect for those who work is fundamental, but above all, certain reprimands shouldn't happen in public; they create discomfort for those who serve and those who dine. It would have been enough to say it later and in a different way. I can't stand this way of treating people, I'm sorry.
It's a shame when the atmosphere of a beautiful place is ruined by a lack of empathy or professionalism towards the staff.
And nothing, a hug to the waitress who was really working hard!
