27/03/2024: Perfect night! We had a great dinner, the food was made with love, the service was super. It was a calm night and totally worth the trip there. Important note: When you drive there, there is a stony route and an asphalted on. Better check before driving there. We will definitely come again, hopefully the weather will be better then.

02/04/2024: Reluctantly I have to give two stars, now I'll explain why: We went for lunch where the waiter recommended food and wine. I would like to start with wine. He informed us that unlike other restaurants they don't charge too much on wine, around 5/10 euros per bottle. We chose a Valpolicella Classico, the waiter also pointed out that he had given us a discount from 40 euros to 35. Here I lose the first two stars because I contacted the manufacturer himself who told me that that bottle costs 9.90 euros! Ok add transport, VAT, personnel etc. but if it had cost around twenty euros it could have been okay, but the thing that bothered me the most was "making fun of the customer". As for the food, we were recommended a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses. It was all undoubtedly good, their mortadella which had won a lot of awards was the most delicate, perhaps too delicate, it tasted of little. The cheeses however were really good! The second star is lost in the price, cutting board and croutons... 65 euros. For the rest I would go back maybe I would take something else.

14/03/2024: All the dishes were excellent, hospitality and friendliness to the max. welcoming environment like the owner, all the old memories that the place offers are interesting... top quality products in addition to the excellent products that you can buy with a choice of all kinds... I will be back very soon .

06/04/2024: A truly excellent restaurant, excellent food, welcoming and clean place, 5 star service. Both the external terrace and the internal room are very beautiful, perfect for summer and winter. Dedicated parking and a couple of cats to keep you company.

02/04/2024: Food, drinks, staff, price/performance ratio and ambience were excellent. We were very excited about everything. A nice, small, rustic restaurant in the middle of Tuscany near a campsite. Be sure to call the restaurant in advance and make a reservation, otherwise there will be no chance of a spontaneous visit. Calls are possible without any problems from around 4 p.m. If we are in the area again, we would be happy to come back.

01/04/2024: Without a doubt a beautiful experience, the castle is very well kept, a very well-kept garden... the super panoramic view. Excellent tasting, wines and explanation! It would be fantastic to be able to do it at the castle too! Overall a nice experience

31/03/2024: Manager and staff of rare kindness to find. Menu is not huge (good) with excellent dishes. Chianti risotto and pappardelle with venison, lamb with artichokes and excellent slices. Worthy of note is the tiramisu. Excellent prices.

07/04/2024: Good raw material. I wasn't 100% convinced by the preparations of the starters which on paper are delicious but are a bit anonymous on the palate. Fillet meat cooked to perfection. Elegant location with the right distance between tables. Pleasant and fast service. Overall expense 10% higher than what was received.

01/04/2024: The only positive thing about the experience and the visit are the views. The visit to the winery and the castle is very quick and easy. The tasting and tasting the same. 07/04/2024: Friendly staff with welcome antipasti and aperitivo. Dont expect to be seated unless you have a reservation. Reservations are pretty much required. We wasted an hour here.

06/04/2024: I have to give 1 star not for the food but for the short blonde waitress with light eyes who is really rude and unpleasant towards customers, she should change her job. It makes all the staff and this wonderful place look bad. Dario is truly an exquisite person... too bad!
