Excellent food, very nice atmosphere (we sat inside) and great service.
The pear-stuffed pasta with Gorgonzola sauce and the cheek steak with mashed potatoes were simply perfect.

The food was very tasty, but I can't really recommend this place to people on a gluten-free diet. The options are very limited.
I wanted to order the shrimp and asparagus risotto, which was on the menu, but the ingredients were missing and it could only be made with mushrooms. So I ordered the entrecote with fries, but a few minutes after placing my order I was informed, they didn't have fries, so I swapped it for a salad.
The steak was delicious and cooked just right, and others also enjoyed their dishes. The service was polite, though busy.

Overall a pretty good restaurant. We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and decided to give it a try on a Friday night with no reservation. We walked in and got a table without any issue. The smoked goose appetizer and the filet were delicious, however the rabbit was a miss (just bland). The food seemed targeted towards tourists, but that's hard to avoid in Florence. We got half a bottle of wine and they were nice enough to open a new one and let us stop when we got halfway. The bread was not fresh.
You will be asked if you want to add a tip if you are from North America. Our server was very chill about it and didn't protest when we declined, but I heard another server being a little more forceful with another table. (The server didn't mention a word of an extra tip to the family from France next to us.)

My boyfriend and I had dinner at this lovely restaurant. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and authentic, with excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed the pasta to start and the polpette for our second course. A very good restaurant that we highly recommend.

We booked last-minute for Easter Saturday evening and were pleasantly surprised to find a spot. We arrived feeling confident, especially since the restaurant was participating in Borghese's 4 Ristoranti competition. The location is truly charming, well-maintained, and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. We started with a delicious platter of cured meats and crostini, then moved on to the first courses: pici with rabbit and cavolo nero ragù, simply superb, and handmade ancient-grain testaroli with sausage, artichokes, and cherry tomatoes, truly unique and beautifully balanced in flavor. We also tried the stew, so good it was definitely worth mopping up the bread afterwards. Typical cuisine, perhaps a little more "upscale" than your typical trattoria, but the quality of the dishes fully justifies it. A truly delightful experience. Definitely a place to return.

One of the best restaurants we visited in Florence. Fabulous meal with friendly and attentive service, given how busy the restaurant was, the place ran like clockwork. Particularly liked the photos on the walls which told the story of the restaurant’s owners over the years. Will definitely return.

It's now become a tourist restaurant (just read the reviews), as unfortunately happens with almost all restaurants in the center. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the Florentine steak was acceptable, although it arrived lukewarm, not hot. Prices were average.
