25/03/2024: Small rustic place and very simple, I would say characteristic compared to the context of where it is located! He is simple, friendly, friendly and knows how to advise! we ate a mixed starter rated 10, then portions/tastings of asparagus risotto rated 8, pasta with garlic 10, penne with rabbit 9, peposo 10, duck with orange 10, straccetti 8, mixed desserts 8 but there was something left over because we were bloated given that we did encores! The beauty is the rustic part, flat glasses and coffee cups (with mocha) each different from the other. Personally, simplicity and goodness are what I'm looking for! I highly recommend it but I also recommend booking because there are few places! We asked for the estimate and at the table between drinking and eating we thought we would spend 55/60... We spent 45

05/04/2024: Deciding to stay in this area is hard so I'll be as in depth as i can to help you make your choice. Notes about location: - in my mind everywhere in this area is good. In regards to this place there is a beautiful view over the valley and it is on the high side of the hill with an olive grove that you can explore....I didn't explore but I assume that you'll only see olive trees. Its a nice quiet rural location and although there is a road going right past you we didn't notice the cars much if at all. Up the hill a bit further is a really nice looking town and a nice place to spend a little time. Its not really a place to stay all day for days at a time but its a good place to stay and then travel around. That said, our main focus was Florence (Firenze) on this trip and we should have stayed closer to town than this. Next time we want to explore the region and not go to Firenze at all. I will rate as many aspects as I can out of 5 to help set your expectations; Bed - 3.5/5. Slightly firmer than a Hilton hotel bed but more give in it than a holiday Inn bed. Very supportive. We added a doona under the sheets and it was like a 4.5 bed after that. Pillows were excellent Bathroom - 4.5/5. Toilet and shower was downstairs. No bath and shower recess wasn't massive but adequate. Good water flow Bathroom amenities - 5/5. Not the same as a 5 star hotel but you have everything you need Cleanliness - 5/5 Size of room - 5/5. There is a downstairs loungeroom and an upstairs bedroom - between the two spaces there was plenty of space to put everything Luggage space - 5/5 Comfort and amenities - 5/5, lounge, air con etc. It seems to me that when you use the air con that the radiator heaters turn off (assuming the aircon gets the room above a certain temp). So on the first night we got a little cold until the radiator heaters kicked back in but on the 2nd night we were very cosy. The bedding used blankets rather than a doona and there's an extra blanket in the cupboard which we needed for the first night. Peace and quiet - 5/5 Didn't hear a peep from anyone Food - 5/5. For breakfast I think you can ask for eggs cooked your way - but this wasn't explained to us so we just had boiled eggs. Breakfast isn't like a hotel but there are good selections of a range of options enough to make breakfast very satisfying. Gluten free options were given to my wife. on the 2nd morning we left very early so on the previous night they gave us some yoghurts to out in our fridge over night. We had dinner there which was excellent. Good locally sourced food cooked well. Location - see comments above....you make up your own mind. Wifi - 4/5. Service - 5/5. From reception to restaurant the service was kind and friendly. Overall the room and accommodation generally was very nice and if this location suits you then I highly recommend staying here. yes it looks a little older but that's the charm of it. Our room was on two levels so if you get this room then don't wear socks on the terracotta tiled stairs as it can be a little slippery - or ask for a room without stairs.

We are on holiday in firenze en found this Pearl on Michelin, As chef of Belgium restaurant Oltra i can say We had a wonderful experience toninght! A lovely journey with some local products of firenze. Thank you chef for the tastefull menu, also the specials with the sprays of aroma's, And also a big thanks to the hostess for the fantastis service and big thanks tot the wine sommelier for the explanations about the wines! Big Thanks !!!

17/03/2024: In viaggio da Roma per Lucca attirati dalle ottime recensioni abbiamo deciso di fermarci per il pranzo . Oggi di ritorno da Lucca e di rientro a Roma abbiamo deciso di pranzare di nuovo a Cinque Divino 😁 Motivo ? Tutto ottimo . Genuino . Divino . Dall'olio , alla fiorentina, alle mezzalune con il tartufo e per finire con la torta al cioccolato. Proprietario gentile , genuino , sorridente . Così come tutto il personale. Un grazie alla cuoca che non abbiamo conosciuto personalmente ma ne abbiamo apprezzato le doti 😁

06/03/2024: Family atmosphere. The guys who work there are very good and approachable. The food was excellent and of excellent quality. For two with appetizer, fried steak, potatoes, mushrooms, two desserts, two shots of sweet wine, a limoncello, a water and a wine €120. I really recommend it a lot

26/02/2024: Siamo arrivati in questo stupendo luogo per caso e devo dire WOW!! È di una bellezza da togliere il fiato. Struttura moderna, pulita e ben curata nei minimi dettagli, personale qualificato gentile e attento alle esigenze del cliente. Cucina di alta qualità con prodotti locali d’eccellenza. Il ristorante Volpenera fa parte dell’ agriturismo Salvadonica che, dal vederlo dal fuori, mantiene la storicità propria della zona del Chianti. Non avendo usufruito dell’ agriturismo ma solo del ristorante per il pranzo della domenica sicuramente ritorneremo per apprezzare ancora di più la bellezza e il fascino di questo posto. Super consigliato!!

26/03/2024: They have behaved phenomenally, even with the language problem. The waitress spoke a little Spanish and made us feel very comfortable. We were with a baby and they offered us a chair without asking for anything. Maximum welcoming and super friendly. Recommended. Grazie mille to Blu Bar Bistrot.

07/04/2024: We went to Bule on Thursday for dinner with a work colleague and I. It's been a long time since I've been back to Bule and I have to say that nothing has changed. The food is always excellent! Everything we ordered was very good! a mention for the pan-fried rabbit! Bule is always kind and attentive and satisfies all your requests. At Bule you can breathe a homely and familiar atmosphere. What more can I say! Big bule!

02/04/2024: Always an excellent restaurant, fabulous food at more than honest prices. This means that there are always a lot of people and the service slows down a little but that little extra wait is well worth it!

03/04/2024: If you're looking for the best food in Italy, look no further than Il Borgo Machiavelli. The food is divine, the atmosphere is charming and the service is impeccable. Each dish is a delight for the senses and the welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with loved ones. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal.

02/04/2024: Lunch with excellent and well cooked raw materials. Stunning village and the room in which we ate was comfortable, indiscreet and welcoming. Friendly and competent staff, we will definitely come back to try it on a sunny day to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces.

30/03/2024: Visited this incredible winery a week ago, two and a half hour tour of the cellar with a sommelier guide and tastings of four wines at the end. Then lunch at Rinuccio with three courses and as many wines. The quality of the wines is more than excellent, especially the white Cervaro, the Brunello and the vin santo. All for the modest sum of €180 each

23/03/2024: Restaurant of the Antinori winery in the classic Chianti, reduced menu but well-prepared and tasty dishes, good service and obviously an excellent selection of wines also by the glass. Perfect restaurant to complete the visit to the cellar. Better to book as places are limited.

25/03/2024: Very simple circular pizzeria. Lots of confusion, tables too close together. Decent pizza but without praise. Starters and especially the fried foods are really poor. Applause for the friendly and fast service. The shift issue is bad with a chaotic rotation between those who choose to dine at 7.30pm and those at 9.30pm.

24/03/2024: Very good pizza, they also have the possibility to choose the dough. Excellent digestibility. We will definitely return to try other flavours. The craft beers and desserts are also good, I had a cheesecake. I recommend booking several days in advance if you want to go on a Saturday evening. Dinner on 2 shifts. Nice and friendly environment. Great prices.

06/04/2024: The environment is comfortable and elegant, the staff is courteous. The food is excellent (I recommend the grilled octopus with potato cream, very tender!) and the portions are generous.

06/04/2024: Characteristic of the place are the dishes cooked with ingredients generally produced nearby, i.e. the so-called KM 0 (in the menu for each one the km from the producer is indicated). Well cooked and balanced dishes, good red wine (one of the cheapest bottles recommended by the waiter), a Chianti from the San Gimignano area. You can also eat outdoors under a large loggia, which is covered and heated in this period; ample parking available. Possibility to purchase consortium products, EVO oil, cheeses, cured meats, bread, etc. Prices perhaps slightly high for the service offered (cover charge is charged, equipment with placemat...), but the quality of the ingredients must be considered. Desserts tasted very good, menu limited in choice but can satisfy everyone.

31/03/2024: We were there for Christmas lunch. Super great place, in fact we will be back on time. Quiet environment, delicious and unique dishes. Very precise and helpful staff. Parking space right in front. I forgot: taste their oil on a slice of bread and then you'll tell me. The Christmas menu is always at the top, everything tasty and perfect. Compliments. Update: also for the Easter lunch Mr. Lorenzo has prepared a truly special and very good menu. The dishes I chose, poached egg.., pici with Cinta Senese ragù...., roast lamb...., Easter colomba from the Rigacci pastry shop with oil ice cream.... . All very good. Always perfect service, very friendly staff. And we will always come back... Good work. Francis.
