13/10/2025: Unfortunately, just a disappointment, the food isn’t even remotely comparable to real original falafel, lentil soup or mezze. If you try to imitate Lebanese/Syrian food, you should at least try better. I have never eaten such a terrible lentil soup in my entire life. Also, they charge €10 for the soup but bread isn’t included. P.S. The response of the owner just proves my review. The problem is that food is disgusting, not that it’s expensive. We spent ~€70 but left food uneaten and had stomach aches.

11/10/2025: Great experience! Very good and varied vegan dishes, helpful and attentive staff (one person in our group had a paprika allergy and was very thorough in identifying safe dishes). Good value. Highly recommended.

10/10/2025: We found this adorable cafe by our Air Bnb! Roberto is lovely and he made our visit each morning special! The best chocolate croissants & cappuccinos! Definitely go say hello to Roberto!

10/10/2025: Caffè mi Piace is a must! Roberto was such a pleasure making the best cappuccinos and serving our favorite croissants. He and his wife are filled with such joy you can’t help but leave Caffè mi Piace ready for the day with a pleased and content belly!

12/10/2025: We were a group of 5 women of different ages, we came here as walked past, it had a set dinner menu of Biscatta, wine and water. And the reviews on line were good. The waiters were not particularly friendly, perhaps we all had the set meal which was not big spending. Anyhow the florentine t.bone steak was absolutely delicious which made up for the non- friendly service. We didn't stay long, justs had our set meal then moved on to another bar. Other places we usually stayed for more drinks and a desert, as we were not made to feel welcome here, we moved on

17/09/2025: An intimate venue with interesting historical details about Castruccio Castracani from the early 14th century. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and the food lives up to expectations. Excellent as both a pizzeria and a restaurant.

11/09/2025: Utter perfection. Every dish was stunning, the hostess looked after us, and was pleasant and engaged, made the whole experience fun and easy! We had anchovies on toast with lots of butter (can't go wrong), the yellow tail ceviche (beautiful, delicate), we shared the tagliolini with mullet roe for our primi (rich but light, fresh and morish) - oh, and every dish we chose to share came split onto two plates, a nice touch! - We finished with our secondi - the fried seafood platter and the octopus, both the best examples of each we've tried (and we eat a lot of seafood around the Mediterranean). It's an odd addition in a review, but it was noticeable that attention had been paid to the sound in the space. Lots of sound dampening "furniture" and just panels - the result is that, what would probably be a loud and reverberous space otherwise, was pleasant, intimate and we could hear each other fine without raising our voice. Just another touch that made this restaurant special. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality fish restaurant in Florence. You'll love it!

30/08/2025: Absolutely worth a visit. We chose this restaurant by chance for lunch while traveling on the A1, just minutes from the Montelupo highway exit. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the meat selection excellent, and the wine list well-stocked. The service was impeccable, and the menu catered to all allergens (we are lactose intolerant, and there was a wide selection, including dessert). Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

29/09/2025: I wanted to revisit this place several times, trying multiple dishes on the menu to try and catch the chef in a mistake. Well, I didn't succeed! He managed to make me like a combination I was sure was a mistake! But no! Spaghetti with calamari, lemon-infused butter, anchovies, and toasted breadcrumbs infused with lemon. Yes, I did say anchovies in oil, and they're perfect; there's no loss of flavor, aroma, or taste. A great chef who doesn't know he's a great chef, in a context where he, his team, and his staff have a great palate. Creating such a well-crafted menu, with a high level of understanding for the diner but with such sophisticated pairings and preparations, requires technique and a great palate, both from the chef and the taster. My heartfelt congratulations. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants. I'd pay more for what you get. The revisited tiramisu deserves 1 Michelin star, without a doubt.

18/09/2025: Discovered during our walk, this simple little restaurant delighted us. The super-friendly owner promotes organic wine and local produce. We tried the lunchtime tasting menu of various pizzas, and they were all excellent. Thank you, Roberta.

Most likely, choose what suits you. "We ordered pasta with orange, and the burrata pasta was covered in burrata." 👌

10/09/2025: Very nice and quiet, a car is a must. Extremely friendly staff, but the WiFi is almost nonexistent. Ideal as a base for exploring Chianti and Tuscany. The food in the restaurant is delicious and fresh, and the breakfast is equally so.

08/10/2025: I stumbled upon this delicious slice of pizza place. The crust is thin and crispy. If you're a little tired of similar restaurants, I highly recommend this place for a delicious and enjoyable meal. The pumpkin pizza is especially excellent. I hope the friendly owner stays healthy!

03/10/2025: If you want to eat a well-made, crispy and richly topped pizza in Lastra a Signa you have to come here. In addition to the individual pizzas, as soon as you enter, you will always find an almost infinite assortment of large round or stuffed pizzas available to taste in slices. This allows you to try different combinations, all extremely inviting. The only problem could be the indecision on the choice (but you always fall for it anyway). The management of the place is family-run and the owners are always friendly and kind. The prices are really more than fair. Both internal and external tables in the veranda area.

12/10/2025: The owners are very accommodating and friendly. He's a wine expert and knows how to give good advice. They serve traditional Tuscan cuisine, with meat as the main focus. It's traditional, but not for mass tourism. They also have a wide selection of wines.
