16/04/2025: Locale tra le vie del centro , vicino piazza della signoria , locale piccolo ma accogliente , personale molto simpatico. Servizi velocissimo. Noi abbbiamo preso due primi , acqua, e un dolce e abbiamo speso 63 euro. Prezzi non proprio economici ma onesti considerando dove ci troviamo.

21/03/2025: Eravamo in zona io e una mia collega e decidiamo di fare colazione qui,scelta sbagliatissima. Il banco ha pochissima scelta sia per il dolce che per il salato,premetto che erano le 8:00 di mattina,se il banco non è servito a quell'ora quando deve essere pieno? Comunque lei prende un budino di riso,che risulta essere crudo all'interno,io ero molto indecisa sulla scelta,ma non perché c'era l'imbarazzo della scelta,ma proprio perché la scelta era limitata,alla fine opto per cornetto vengano,di quelli che hanno tutti i bar,solito sapore e gusto...industriale per intendersi. Passiamo ai cappuccini...uno normale e l'altro a ginseng, erano due sciacquoni...Il personale scortese e poco attento al cliente,nonostante il bar fosse vuoto ( oltre a noi una sola altra persona ) ci hanno servito dopo più di 5 minuti che si aspettava e solo perché sono state chiamate da noi,visto che le due signore dietro il banco erano intente in una discussione,una delle due era anche infastidita che l'avessimo interrotta. Il tutto non proprio regalato €6,80,trovo un ottima qualità,scelta e rispetto ad un prezzo più vantaggioso in altri locali. Mai più e mai poi.

06/02/2025: A place truly what a wonderful surprise! Stop along the road, With my friend we took Coffee, Macchiatone, Brioche filled with cream called "cremino" And a rice pudding. I ate the rice pudding and I assure you, it was special, it is my favorite pasta. My friend ate the "cremino" and the expression on her face said it all! A delicacy! The coffee is also excellent. Showcase with a nice assortment of pastries. A short but substantial stop! Until next time!

04/04/2025: We discovered this restaurant through Facebook and we were convinced by the reviews, I must say that they did not disappoint our expectations. We chose the 4-course fish tasting menu which includes an appetizer, a first course, a second course and dessert. The dishes were rich in flavor and never predictable, generous and well-balanced portions. The place is small and welcoming, perfect for a quiet and intimate dinner. Nice experience. We will definitely be back!

07/04/2025: A typical little restaurant as we like them, a stone's throw from the Uffizis. Fast and courteous service, I recommend the steak with mushrooms accompanied by dried beans. A real treat!

16/12/2024: Came for a tasting with the girl, paid the right amount, 25 euros each, with 4 glasses and cutter. Very educational tour of the cellar with the very nice and knowledgeable girl traveling from Lemole. We took an exceptional chianti made by them to take away, the Duelame. Compliments!

12/04/2025: I see that the average rating is below 4.5, which does not correspond to reality. In fact, it is rated for 5 stars in our opinion and above. Try a very dark wine, which for my taste was very good both in price and taste!

11/04/2025: Two of us stopped to have a nice pizza each and wine. It's a bit off the beaten path tourists usually take, and that's a good thing. The pizza was very tasty and also the wine, service was excellent and overall we really enjoyed it. Thank you

29/03/2025: This charming, family-run restaurant by the bridge is a favorite among locals. Note that the kitchen closes at 3 pm—so if you’re a tourist, plan accordingly. We arrived on a Saturday around 4 pm, which meant no warm meals were available, although the shop/café remains open until 7 pm

28/03/2025: They told me exactly how I found it. They welcome you at the entrance in a former grocery/butcher shop (I don't know) with hams hanging from the ceiling, if you eat inside you find a small room with about ten tables, sitting on stools. Courteous and fast service. There's no point in talking about the food... I arrived on Saturday at 2:30 pm and waited (and ate) from 3:00 pm onwards because it was packed but they sat us down and served us anyway. We ate the tortelli (in that area they have thick pasta) with three different toppings: the wild boar one is phenomenal. Given the time I skipped the second course but I imagine it's amazing like the first courses and... the desserts (another excellent thing). Fair price.

22/03/2025: One of those places where you can breathe love. All the service is offered with such kindness. The pappa al pomodoro, the sandwiches and the platter of typical Tuscan cured meats are excellent. The tiramisu is a must try... "awesome" and above all homemade by "mamma". The environment is small but really special and intimate.

05/04/2025: I don't rate the food and the environment because we weren't allowed to enjoy it. However, I evaluate the denied service: today 4 April 2025 we stopped for a short break in this place seeing the sign outside indicating "e-bike charging for customers", which specified "also for short stops". Unfortunately we had had lunch shortly before and had therefore asked to use the top-up service by having a drink without ordering food at the table. This was denied to us, without offering us alternative solutions or coming to our aid. Being a well-known pilgrimage location I would have expected more openness from the rather rude and superficial staff. We went to the bar-pastry shop literally next door, where no bike charging service was advertised and very kindly, with one drink, they allowed us to charge our bikes for half an hour using a socket inside the place. It goes without saying that you lost 3 customers, I'm sorry to ruin the average reviews, but the attitude of the staff contributes to the image of the company. In response to the owner's message: Yes, he's wrong because the two bikes placed there were not electric and not being charged. I speak for myself because I am the only one with an electric bike and I confirm the above: we were not told to leave them charging but to go to the bar next door, I quote the exact words of the staff "here we are a restaurant, if you want go to the bar next door". Nobody told us that we could still leave the bikes charging without consuming (since the sign says "for customers")

12/03/2025: It is one of the oldest places to eat in Florence, and the particularity of the place proves it. Exceptional open kitchen and service and the food is simply perfect! A stop is a must if you are in the city.

07/04/2025: Let's set some expectations: The reason this place is SO popular is because it's super cheap! However, the food is also really good so the combination of the two is what makes it so appealing. Is it the best food I've had? No Is it good and tastey? YES. Is it worth the wait / queue / line? Maybe, depends what kind of experience you want and expect. Note that you can't reserve a table! The place is very pleasant and run by a family and you sit at a table with other people so there's room for everyone. It seems every day they have a different menu but if you check the menu you can get a rough idea of what they offer. Because the place serves so many tables the service can be a bit chaotic. However the staff is nice and the food comes really fast! Overall a super nice experience! We were 3 people having lots of dishes (and wine) and we ended up paying 20eur pp! Enjoy 😊
