30/03/2024: Hello! Very authentic place. Not a tourist hotspot and perhaps that's exactly why it's so recommended. The cappuccino was great and we felt very welcome because the owner was incredibly friendly. I can't rate the food because we didn't eat anything.

29/03/2024: I’m living here for a couple of months and this is the BEST cappuccino I’ve ever tried. Roberto is amazing and is so welcoming to all customers! I love this place and the pastries are to die for! I highly highly highly recommend this place.

25/03/2024: Small rustic place and very simple, I would say characteristic compared to the context of where it is located! He is simple, friendly, friendly and knows how to advise! we ate a mixed starter rated 10, then portions/tastings of asparagus risotto rated 8, pasta with garlic 10, penne with rabbit 9, peposo 10, duck with orange 10, straccetti 8, mixed desserts 8 but there was something left over because we were bloated given that we did encores! The beauty is the rustic part, flat glasses and coffee cups (with mocha) each different from the other. Personally, simplicity and goodness are what I'm looking for! I highly recommend it but I also recommend booking because there are few places! We asked for the estimate and at the table between drinking and eating we thought we would spend 55/60... We spent 45

02/04/2024: Very good Easter lunch. Typical local dishes, with some really good off-menu specials. Very friendly and helpful staff with excellent advice on what to take, fair value for money. The place isn't very big so it's best to book. If like us you don't know where to eat in Florence, you're on the safe side here

27/03/2024: Perfect night! We had a great dinner, the food was made with love, the service was super. It was a calm night and totally worth the trip there. Important note: When you drive there, there is a stony route and an asphalted on. Better check before driving there. We will definitely come again, hopefully the weather will be better then.

05/04/2024: On the occasion of a dinner with friends, we chose this place that I had wanted to try for a while. The room is furnished in a simple style, without ornaments or particular objects. The cuisine is excellent. We tried a bit of everything: vegetarian pie, truffle tagliolini, Mugello tortelli, chicken. It was all delicious and the pasta was fresh. I recommend you try their fresh pasta offering which is exceptional. The service was excellent and friendly.

06/04/2024: A truly excellent restaurant, excellent food, welcoming and clean place, 5 star service. Both the external terrace and the internal room are very beautiful, perfect for summer and winter. Dedicated parking and a couple of cats to keep you company.

02/04/2024: Food, drinks, staff, price/performance ratio and ambience were excellent. We were very excited about everything. A nice, small, rustic restaurant in the middle of Tuscany near a campsite. Be sure to call the restaurant in advance and make a reservation, otherwise there will be no chance of a spontaneous visit. Calls are possible without any problems from around 4 p.m. If we are in the area again, we would be happy to come back.

05/04/2024: This is a special occasion gem. Obviously very expensive but the level of food and service is out of this world. Just incredible inventiveness, attention to detail, and perfect execution on every dish. We had the 5 course tasting menu. My wife has Celiac disease and we were told that with advance notice the chef could prepare special versions of the dishes that would be safe as possible for her. All the substitutions were great and she didn't have any reaction. What more is there to say? Every aspect of this meal was perfect!

26/03/2024: Overall, the service by the waitstaff was excellent. What really let's this place down is the food especially how it is plated to be eaten. There are multiple courses that are extremely difficult to cut in order to eat due to plating or having the incorrect utensil for the job. It feels as if they haven't tried eating what they are serving on the specific plate for the dish. Having eaten at a good amount of Michelin star restaurants I was disappointed there was only one dish that wowed me. The turbot, was the dish seemed well balanced texture and taste. I usually eat quickly, but we were waiting a long time between dishes, which just slowed the whole experience and made it less enjoyable. The olive oil provided for the bread to my tastes was overly bitter, and didn't add to the flavor. Some of the presentations were well done but others seemed to make the dish awkward to eat. We asked for two wines one for the first half and one for the second half. Neither seemed to pair with any of dishes especially well. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and spoke about the dishes with elegance and the occasional bit of humor. Anytime we asked a question they were able to give us information that was both interesting and helpful. Honestly the wait staff are the ones the make the place feel more alive than the food did.

26/02/2024: Siamo arrivati in questo stupendo luogo per caso e devo dire WOW!! È di una bellezza da togliere il fiato. Struttura moderna, pulita e ben curata nei minimi dettagli, personale qualificato gentile e attento alle esigenze del cliente. Cucina di alta qualità con prodotti locali d’eccellenza. Il ristorante Volpenera fa parte dell’ agriturismo Salvadonica che, dal vederlo dal fuori, mantiene la storicità propria della zona del Chianti. Non avendo usufruito dell’ agriturismo ma solo del ristorante per il pranzo della domenica sicuramente ritorneremo per apprezzare ancora di più la bellezza e il fascino di questo posto. Super consigliato!!

17/02/2024: Aroma was recommended by our concierge, and he was right. The food was divine. We had the shared appetizers, the warm shrimp in mashed tomato sauce and grilled octopus. Then we had their specialty, spaghetti carbonara with seafood. Amazing!!!! The atmosphere was great, the wine was great. We highly recommend it.
