13/01/2026: Welcoming staff, a reimagined traditional venue, and food that's neither good nor bad. We expected more.

01/01/2026: I made a reservation for two people on October 26, 2025, for December 31, 2025, more than two months in advance. The reservation included a TheFork discount on the à la carte menu. Just to be sure, on December 12, 2025, I contacted the restaurant directly to confirm that, for the evening of December 31, a à la carte menu was also available in addition to the set menu, so I could take advantage of the discount. They confirmed in writing that this would be possible. On December 31, I received another email from the restaurant to confirm the table, to which I replied confirming my attendance. Having arrived promptly at the agreed-upon time, I was instead informed that it was not possible to order anything other than the set menu, a complete contradiction both to what I had previously been told and to what was advertised on their social media channels. Faced with this evident lack of consistency and respect for the customer, I decided to leave. Since it was New Year's Eve, no other nearby restaurant was available, forcing me to opt for a food truck. I'll leave it up to the reader to assess the reliability and integrity of this place.

08/12/2025: When passing through Gambassi, a stop at this pastry shop is a must. Everything is top-notch, from sweet to savory. After sampling the pastries and schiacciata with local cured meats, you'll know you've truly enjoyed a special moment.

16/08/2025: The location and the parking can be misleading... from the outside I wouldn't have given it a cent (even though the place had been recommended by acquaintances... from Turin)... The schiacciata, the cantucci, the cereal biscuits, the torta della nonna... everything delicious and fair prices.

27/09/2025: It was an unforgettable experience! We had hiked 10km and wanted to rest and have lunch. A wedding was taking place in this restaurant. However, a kind waitress allowed us to stay in the garden and enjoy lunch a little further away, without disturbing the wedding guests. After 10 minutes, it started to rain and after another 5 minutes, a storm with hail, wind and heavy rain began. We ran inside. Our waitress gave us towels to dry ourselves with and arranged an improvised table for us in one of the auxiliary rooms. We ate the pince-nez that we ordered for the first time and they were divine. As was the wine and our joy at such a hospitable reception in circumstances where the staff could simply say that it was a private event and the restaurant was closed.
