Wonderful little sandwiches and delicious sweet cakes and tartes and the Quaresimali (Chocolate Alphabet Cookies) were the best flavoured chocolate biscuits I've tasted. Came here about 16 years ago and the quality is still the same. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Small place that doesn't take reservations so visit without rushing. It's only open until 4pm but definitely worth a try! Brings the world of the castle from Verrazzano back to the center of Florence. You can take their focaccias to take away or decide to taste their wines on site, accompanying them with platters and dishes of exceptional flavours. Wild boar salami made by them, truffled pork loin, truffled cecina and a platter of tasty cheeses with mustards are just some of the options their menu offers. I first discovered this place twenty years ago and I can confirm that the quality of the products and the friendliness of the staff have never changed.

GO THERE! This was the best Croissant with Pistacchio Mousse I ever had. This was one of the only places where we did not get fake greened pistachio. Also to a very reasonable price compared to the more touristic places

We had an hour break for lunch while we were in port during a cruise ship excursion. We wandered around for a few minutes looking at menus before deciding on this restaurant for a quick lunch. They had a number of premade sandwiches in a glass case to choose from along with slices of pizza. I chose a couple of slices of pizza and my wife went the sandwich. While they heated up the slices, we took a seat and was served a couple of glasses of wine. After so much walking around that morning, it was nice to sit and enjoy a glass of vino. The slices were brought along the sandwich and we really enjoyed them.

Nous avons découvert cet endroit grâce à une guide florentine, nous y sommes revenus plusieurs fois .Les vins de Verrazzano sont merveilleux, vous pouvez les déguster au verre .la cuisine est typique, variée, délicieuse , à base de produits de saison . Le service est parfait , aimable , souriant , aux petits soins . Il y a peu de place mais cela vaut le coup d’attendre ! A essayer absolument , de plus ,le rapport qualité /prix est tout à fait correct.
