02/04/2024: I’m writing this half way through the tasting menu because I truly can’t believe how incredible this food is. This is the go to spot for seafood in Firenze. The best and freshest seafood preparation I’ve had in my life. Get out of the tourist hot spots and give her a try!

07/04/2024: This is a place that may have certainly deserved its mentions in the Michelin guide over the years. But that was 2018 and before. I can see that there has not been much innovation in the last six years. I feel they should certainly innovate and stop riding on the coat tails of their past Michelin mentions. The Michelin guide is about paying homage to real tradition and constant culinary innovation. In 2024 this place is neither. The food was though well executed. The plating was outdated but everything was worth the visit.

04/04/2024: The best dish among all is bacalhau! Super flavorful, juicy and crunchy! But their beef pasta- beef is a lil dry and hard :S Seafood risotto is very interesting with the white sour cream. Wish they could have more seafood inside..

06/04/2024: A Long Term favorite of us. Hidden in the lovely tuscan Landscape Casa Masi offers tranquility, good food and great vines. We enjoyed every minute.

05/04/2024: Very beautiful location. Dinner for 2 based on Florentine steak... good quality meat. Average price. Perhaps the preparation of some waiters needs to be improved.

06/04/2024: Referred to by the lady where we are staying we had a very good time. Amazing Fiorentina...it looked like butter. Highly recommended. However, you need to book a few days in advance because it is always full.

05/04/2024: Deciding to stay in this area is hard so I'll be as in depth as i can to help you make your choice. Notes about location: - in my mind everywhere in this area is good. In regards to this place there is a beautiful view over the valley and it is on the high side of the hill with an olive grove that you can explore....I didn't explore but I assume that you'll only see olive trees. Its a nice quiet rural location and although there is a road going right past you we didn't notice the cars much if at all. Up the hill a bit further is a really nice looking town and a nice place to spend a little time. Its not really a place to stay all day for days at a time but its a good place to stay and then travel around. That said, our main focus was Florence (Firenze) on this trip and we should have stayed closer to town than this. Next time we want to explore the region and not go to Firenze at all. I will rate as many aspects as I can out of 5 to help set your expectations; Bed - 3.5/5. Slightly firmer than a Hilton hotel bed but more give in it than a holiday Inn bed. Very supportive. We added a doona under the sheets and it was like a 4.5 bed after that. Pillows were excellent Bathroom - 4.5/5. Toilet and shower was downstairs. No bath and shower recess wasn't massive but adequate. Good water flow Bathroom amenities - 5/5. Not the same as a 5 star hotel but you have everything you need Cleanliness - 5/5 Size of room - 5/5. There is a downstairs loungeroom and an upstairs bedroom - between the two spaces there was plenty of space to put everything Luggage space - 5/5 Comfort and amenities - 5/5, lounge, air con etc. It seems to me that when you use the air con that the radiator heaters turn off (assuming the aircon gets the room above a certain temp). So on the first night we got a little cold until the radiator heaters kicked back in but on the 2nd night we were very cosy. The bedding used blankets rather than a doona and there's an extra blanket in the cupboard which we needed for the first night. Peace and quiet - 5/5 Didn't hear a peep from anyone Food - 5/5. For breakfast I think you can ask for eggs cooked your way - but this wasn't explained to us so we just had boiled eggs. Breakfast isn't like a hotel but there are good selections of a range of options enough to make breakfast very satisfying. Gluten free options were given to my wife. on the 2nd morning we left very early so on the previous night they gave us some yoghurts to out in our fridge over night. We had dinner there which was excellent. Good locally sourced food cooked well. Location - see comments above....you make up your own mind. Wifi - 4/5. Service - 5/5. From reception to restaurant the service was kind and friendly. Overall the room and accommodation generally was very nice and if this location suits you then I highly recommend staying here. yes it looks a little older but that's the charm of it. Our room was on two levels so if you get this room then don't wear socks on the terracotta tiled stairs as it can be a little slippery - or ask for a room without stairs.

25/02/2024: A simply enchanting place where you can eat divinely and the service is very attentive and courteous. Definitely coming back!

31/03/2024: Went here on our honeymoon. It was our last dinner in Italy and our favorite. We had the baked tomato tarine as starter - highly recommend.ains was two truffle dishes on the daily menu - both were great. For desert, e highly recommend the spices routr. It's a platter of multiple desserts spanning flavors from Italy to Iran and china amongst others.

14/03/2024: Homemade food restaurant in Florence, everything was delicious. We wanted to escape a bit from the more “touristy” places in the center that are less authentic and with this we were completely right!

06/04/2024: We just had the most fantastic lunch at Que Ganzi. We ordered both pasta specials and they truly were special. The linguine with clams and bottarga had the finest, juiciest clams. The ravioli with duck sauce was so rich and flavorful. We asked Domenico, the owner (?) to recommend a wine and we had the most delicious Tuscan wine that was Merlot and Syrah grapes, not the usual Sangiovese. We bought a bottle to take home. Aside from delicious food and wonderful service, the prices are beyond reasonable. We highly recommend the dinner menu, also available Saturday and Sunday lunch. We also recommend the weekday lunch menu that has the same quality but at a very low price.

06/04/2024: It was really a good dining experience. We didn't have a reservation, but they managed to seat us within 30 minutes. The waiters were really helpful and gave excellent recommendations. Would definitely recommend this place if you want some really good and authentic food.

03/04/2024: After having been to the Vecchio Vicolo for the umpteenth time I feel compelled to write this review. I have always thought that the quality of a restaurant can be seen by its continuity over time. Well I can say that the quality of the food, the service and the environment is absolutely high. It is the place where I prefer to go in Florence and in fact I always return. Both fish and meat dishes are excellent. The first ones were fantastic. The owner Caterina always does her best to make us feel good and comfortable and to always find a way to accommodate our little one who is two years old. Absolutely worth trying

Oggi di ritorno da Lucca e di rientro a Roma abbiamo deciso di pranzare di nuovo a Cinque Divino 😁 Motivo ? Tutto ottimo . Genuino . Divino . Dall'olio , alla fiorentina, alle mezzalune con il tartufo e per finire con la torta al cioccolato. Proprietario gentile , genuino , sorridente . Così come tutto il personale. Un grazie alla cuoca che non abbiamo conosciuto personalmente ma ne abbiamo apprezzato le doti 😁

06/03/2024: Family atmosphere. The guys who work there are very good and approachable. The food was excellent and of excellent quality. For two with appetizer, fried steak, potatoes, mushrooms, two desserts, two shots of sweet wine, a limoncello, a water and a wine €120. I really recommend it a lot

05/04/2024: Unfortunately, we were not completely convinced by the food. But it was good. The service was also pleasant and the house wine was delicious.

02/04/2024: Server was very nice. My gnudi tasted like very creamy creamed spinach. Eggplant Parmesan was presented beautifully and was a very good Non-traditional take on a traditional dish. The liver appetizer was unremarkable.

22/02/2024: One of the best culinary experiences I have had in years. The restaurant develops an original menu revisiting traditional Tuscan recipes, moving away from clichés. I can assure you that the chef makes the best ragout I have eaten in years.

24/03/2024: After years of just hearing about it, I also managed to come here to taste Marco Stabile's cuisine. What can I say... There are dishes that stay in your head, they deserve to be tasted rather than talked about, perhaps also because you wouldn't be able to describe the whirlwind of taste that is unleashed in your mouth (and in your head). The service is spectacular: the dining room staff has all it takes to make you feel at ease and guarantee you a stay at the table without unexpected events, young and well-prepared guys who haven't missed a beat. A curated wine list that is presented digitally on a tablet, probably to be constantly updated and not have finished labels in front of you. On the menu there are various "tastings" but it is also possible to take selected dishes à la carte. What can I say... Thanks Marco, you have always been a correct and kind person and from today I can finally talk about your art in the kitchen too. An hour of fresh air is truly an hour of fresh air that frees you from the thoughts outside that door. See you soon Lorenzo A.

09/03/2024: First time at this high end restaurant. Everything was impeccable: from the food to the service. The raw materials used are of the highest quality and the hand of chef Stabile makes everything unique. For the first time I was excited when I tasted a simple dish (gnudo with tomato) because it brought back memories of how little I was. The staff is another feather in the cap: preparation and kindness are at home here. I didn't expect them to bring me a cake with a candle after finding out it was my birthday: the icing on the cake of a perfect evening. Last but not least, the place is wonderful: intimate and elegant with an open kitchen. The decorated ceiling makes everything enchanting. We will definitely be back to try another menu

04/04/2024: Candles, twinkle lights, and great steak. The food was amazing, with great house wine and friendly staff. We started with wine and went right into the steak. The waiter explained our options and even brought the steak out before it was cooked. The balsamic was excellent. Loved the presentation of the steak. Cheesecake was very good. Great place to have a Tuscan steak.
