09/07/2025: I come to Lucca several times a year and this place is always a must. Just outside the Santa Maria entrance to the wall it is one of the best “not so touristy” places around. The food is always amazing and the staff are a delight!!
08/07/2025: We dined twice in this establishment, far from our hotel, the San Marco, which recommended it to us. It was a very nice experience. I recommend it.

18/07/2025: I'm giving it 5 stars because it's not possible to give 11. The restaurant is located on a natural terrace overlooking the valley... that alone is a unique experience (it feels like being in a painting).
The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff is equally friendly and professional.
They also have gluten-free options. If you pass through Montalcino and don't stop to eat at Locanda di Demetra, you'll miss out on a unique and unforgettable experience.

07/07/2025: Six of us had dinner to celebrate my mother's birthday during our trip to Tuscany. This place was recommended to us at the nearby campsite, and it truly did not disappoint. The food was excellent, and you could tell it was all homemade and made with love. The waiter served us with passion. They have an extensive wine list. Highly recommended. Make a reservation before going, as it's not very large.

04/07/2025: Discovered by chance while I was taking a motorbike ride... the restaurant is very small and characteristic and takes you back in time... a real tavern with dishes prepared at the moment... excellent first courses and desserts, the owner is courteous and friendly. Recommended.

The T-bone steak is delicious and the tiramisu is great for dessert

The staff were friendly and polite, and I loved that I didn’t get pressured to tip like I have previously at other restaurants. Love that dogs are allowed there too. Overall great experience.

15/06/2025: Delicious gelato, Some of the best I've had in Italy. I had vegan pistachio and chocolate in a cone. It's more reasonably priced than the gelaterias in central Siena, and I preferred the gelato here.

25/06/2025: I have known this place for years now and I never get tired of going back. Here everything is made with great care, starting with the ingredients. Not a bad dish, not a bad combination, everything is simply exquisite. As well as the friendliness and professionalism of the waiting staff (Mattia, Lorenzo and the others). Among the desserts, two masterpieces but I won't tell you which ones: try them all and you'll find out!
Thank you for existing! I'll miss you during the holidays...

The food is truly good, and the kitchen is definitely run by top-notch staff.
The menu is predominantly meat-based.
The price is quite reasonable.
I've been there about ten times already and will definitely want to return.
The service is fast, friendly, and impeccable.
I highly recommend this place.
