17/08/2026: Have you ever tasted a painting? A masterfully colorful and fragrant canvas that tickles the palate and prepares it for every flavor. The maestro of this shop is Filippo, who pampers, spoils, and charms the customer and, alas (or thank God), binds them inextricably to his exquisite art.
Everything in its place...the staff narrates the dishes as if telling an ancient tale of gnomes and forest fairies.
Contraindications: Mater can be addictive!
16/08/2026: Searching for a restaurant that combined sophistication, originality, and deliciousness, we found Mater, which amazed and completely satisfied us. The service was both professional and welcoming. The location was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Run by a family: the mother works her magic in the kitchen, while the son manages the service—and what service it is! Discreet and incredibly efficient. He offers expert advice on the wines he carefully prepares for you before your tasting. Succulent dishes with Calabrian influences, among others. Originality, elegant flavors—in short, a feast of everything, and above all, attentiveness and genuine kindness.
Thank you for this lovely interlude; this moment of sharing with family was a pure pleasure.

17/07/2026: A great experience at this restaurant, where everything is taken care of: from the service, to the ambiance, to the quality food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended, and kudos to the family management.
11/07/2026: It's a good restaurant, quite well-known in the area. Its fame dates back to the 1970s. However, the current staff lives up to its former reputation and doesn't make us miss the old Appennino.

Highly recommend the dishes we ordered: the pistachio mille feuille, green pasta with almonds and lamb chops. We were so surprised that the former two are vegan. We ordered 2x of both dishes 😆
Tip: book far in advance and request for a table next to the vineyard for the view.

Special thanks to Syran, the waiter who served us: professional, cheerful, and attentive to every detail. Anna Maria expertly recommended the perfect wines and dishes. The impeccable service made the dinner even more special. We'll definitely be back!

14/08/2026: Grano was hands down the best pizza we had in Italy. Absolutely delicious, with amazing flavours and perfectly made pizza. The location is beautiful too, making the whole experience even more special. A must-visit if you’re in the area.

It's always been a neighborhood gathering place, a place with a genuine atmosphere. Even my grandfather used to come here, and returning here is a special experience. The perfect place to enjoy a good glass of wine and spend some time with friends.
