04/08/2026: We stopped here for lunch with no reservation and had one of our favorite meals over our entire vacation. On a very hot day, we enjoyed great food and fantastic service. We highly recommend!

Run by a family: the mother works her magic in the kitchen, while the son manages the service—and what service it is! Discreet and incredibly efficient. He offers expert advice on the wines he carefully prepares for you before your tasting. Succulent dishes with Calabrian influences, among others. Originality, elegant flavors—in short, a feast of everything, and above all, attentiveness and genuine kindness. 16/05/2026: Everything was excellent! Appetizer, first course, dessert, coffee, and water, but for the same price (€90) I could have stayed at a hotel.

14/05/2026: Just a few tables, just like at home, and amazing food at a moderately low price (appetizer, first course, and second course for half, plus a selection of desserts, €40). Highly recommended (call to reserve at least a week in advance).

11/07/2026: It's a good restaurant, quite well-known in the area. Its fame dates back to the 1970s. However, the current staff lives up to its former reputation and doesn't make us miss the old Appennino.

28/06/2026: A historic wine bar that retains all the charm of a bygone era. The atmosphere is very casual and simple, but it's precisely this authenticity that makes it special. It's always been a neighborhood gathering place, a place with a genuine atmosphere. Even my grandfather used to come here, and returning here is a special experience. The perfect place to enjoy a good glass of wine and spend some time with friends.

16/08/2026: Pizzeria right on the waterfront. It's a takeaway pizzeria, with a few seats. It's not even expensive.

14/08/2026: Grano was hands down the best pizza we had in Italy. Absolutely delicious, with amazing flavours and perfectly made pizza. The location is beautiful too, making the whole experience even more special. A must-visit if you’re in the area.

07/08/2026: 06/08/26 My husband & myself returned to each enjoy the 4course set menu for a bargain €54 ( selecting from various options with the proviso both diners eat the same selection). We Loved every single dish ..& were particularly charmed with the Amuse sent out by the kitchen: Seared watermelon ( warm!!!) in à tomato broth with sunflower seeds!… So o clever & delightful!!! A special note of appreciation must also be made with the outstanding sommelier advice given in assisting us to select from the beautiful open pour selection on offer ..& to drink so very well (& adequately!) for a total of just over €40 is rare value indeed ! Highly recommended-again.) ——00—— Widely travelled & highly experienced food & wine loving chums joined my husband & myself for our return here for àn à la carte dinner( they do have set menus) ..& we were all delighted with our highly individual choices from the menu + the fine wines (at fair prices) selected by our internationally recognised “wineman “ guest -who commented in passing, on the good cellar range from which he’d selected our lovely red & white wines for the evening. One slight reservation could’ve been had àbout the strident saucing delivered with my near blue-rare ( dissected!) pigeon main - but it certainly worked that is admitted. A prompt beginning of kitchen service was appreciated-& well staged later delivery course by course nicely done- however the flawed white wine table chilling was a nonesense as dropping a opened bottle of wine onto a base of ice cubes in plastic sleeve was never going to keep the Sylvanyer from getting dangerously too close to room temperature..& this error of judgement Re the wine service was hard to understand seeing these guys are so experienced…? ONLY àn ice bucket works in my experience ! This informal & laidback, conveniently quiet atmosphere is such a pleasure in which to enjoy splendidly fresh ingredients being prepared in a modern way - plated with imagination& with yet still with great respect for the noble Italian cuisine traditions many if us hold dear. Top marks fellas -recommended warmly !

31/07/2026: Amazing meal - simple yet unique. It was unexpectedly one of top two meals we had in Tuscany! Highly recommend the dishes we ordered: the pistachio mille feuille, green pasta with almonds and lamb chops. We were so surprised that the former two are vegan. We ordered 2x of both dishes 😆 Tip: book far in advance and request for a table next to the vineyard for the view.

15/08/2026: Even though we didn't make a reservation, they provided us with a table. The location, service and food were perfect. The staff is very nice and friendly. The dishes are special and some of the ingredients come from their own garden. All praise to the chef!

The passion you put into your work is evident in the dishes you prepare, like the amazing cream of cannellini beans, grilled beans, fried green beans, lemon marmalade, and aged goat cheese. And it shows in the way you welcome your guests, with warmth and simplicity, with a smile that will already make you hungry! I want to thank you all because the dinner I had with you will remain a wonderful memory, one that I hope to repeat as soon as possible.

04/05/2026: A wonderful bar in Florence. Everything was perfect. Friendly waiter (special mention to the one with the Viking-style haircut). Delicious cocktails for the price. Sunny terrace. We came three days in a row.

03/05/2026: I came here for the first time and ordered the truffle macaroni. I was blown away. The pasta sauce was creamy and tasted amazing with a sprinkle of Parmesan. The service was great and the waiters were super nice. I would definitely come back again and order the same thing.
