The place is simply magnificent: a cozy and elegant setting, perfect for enjoying a meal in a warm and authentic atmosphere. The service is impeccable, very attentive without being intrusive. We were the only tourists present that evening, surrounded by locals who seemed to truly appreciate the typical cuisine of Turin. This allowed us to taste traditional dishes in an authentic atmosphere, far from the tourist traps. A big thank you to the entire team for this moment of pure conviviality and gastronomy! We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover authentic Turin cuisine in an exceptional setting.

30/07/2025: The best pizza in Turin!!!! Fantastic pizzas you absolutely have to try! I recommend trying their Porchetta in a potato crust, you won't be able to do without it, just as you won't be able to do without this pizzeria! Once you try their pizzas, the others will no longer make sense! The staff is super professional and very kind!!! They deserve so much!!! Well done, well done!

11/07/2025: Our waiter was Sara and she did a very good job. Dinner outside was an amazing vibe. I went for the steak tartare and ribs. The menu said the ribs were slow cooked for 10 hours but they weren't. Still, a great experience 4/5

10/07/2025: Renovated a few years ago, the venue is very beautiful, especially the choice of furnishings. The cocktails are very good, and the food is also really high-quality and offers a wide variety. Recommended for aperitifs or dinner.

19/08/2025: Well, what can I say? Nothing special, but not bad either. The place is decorated in a 1970s style, and the staff still does their job like they would in a 1970s place. The price isn't particularly high. If you're inspired by the past, it's worth a visit; if not, as I've read, don't be so critical.

06/09/2025: The food was very nice with big portions. We were all satisfied , and the price was very honest as well. I removed a star from the service just because we had to wait quite a long time for the drinks and food to arrive (it was quite busy...). For the atmosphere I removed a star because the setting could be a little nicer, with more Arabic touches and was maybe a little outdated (maybe by some guests this outdated interior is more appreciated due to its location in the heart of Balon).

08/08/2025: L'Angolo di Parin has rightfully become one of my favorite restaurants. High-quality, traditional Piedmontese cuisine. Carefully crafted and delicious dishes. The menu is varied and caters to every taste (vegetarian options are also available). Excellent wine list. The location is spectacular. The two main rooms are more historic and characteristic, while the basement room is more modern but equally impressive. The bathrooms... are absolutely worth seeing. Small, but furnished in an alternative style. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is suitable for business lunches, family gatherings, and romantic dinners. Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner.

02/08/2025: We went to Affini for a drink and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the place is pleasant and not too noisy. The cocktail menu is very diverse and full of original creations. If you want to try cocktails that are out of the ordinary, I highly recommend going!

07/09/2025: I've dined at this restaurant several times, having had very positive experiences. This time, a few weeks prior to my review, unfortunately, not everything went as planned, leaving me and five other friends perplexed. We had a reservation for 8:45 PM, but we arrived 15 minutes late and found no one to greet us at the entrance. I climbed the stairs leading to the wonderful terrace overlooking Turin in search of someone and met a waiter who very kindly asked us if we had reservations. When I said yes, he escorted me and my friends to the table, where a colleague appeared a few minutes later, rather rudely bringing us menus and hastily inviting us to choose our wines. We politely asked for a menu and opted for a white wine... "We don't have that," another... "We don't have that," let's try a third!!!!... "Oh, no, not even that." When my friend, still polite, replied, "Sorry, but what bottle of white wine do you have available?" the waitress, still in an annoyed tone, recommended a wine off the menu with no description or price. Personal note and suggestion: if the wines on the menu are not available, they should be removed. We ordered the appetizers, which were truly excellent. The first courses... tagliolini with mushrooms, three out of three, were extremely salty... the waiter noticed our discomfort and immediately offered to have them remade, and this time they were very good. For the second courses, I chose a fillet with mushrooms and was brought a fillet without anything... I pointed out that the mushrooms were missing, and a second waiter took my plate away and after a few minutes brought back the same fillet... with the mushrooms on the side!!! Apologizing, of course, because the chef "had forgotten to put them on the plate"... verbatim!! The desserts were impeccable and the price was fair. A suggestion to the waitstaff who did the math at the end of the dinner: avoid telling the customer that, having broken down the calculation by person and resulting in a "recurring number," one of the diners had to pay one euro more... on a bill of almost €400... It was probably an unfortunate evening, but I wasn't expecting such lapses in attention in a high-end establishment like this. The waitstaff's attitude is definitely questionable, unlike their truly kind and helpful colleague.

17/08/2025: My assessment can only be negative. Let's start with the farinata, which was flavorless and undercooked (also due to the thickness of the center). In my opinion, farinatas are prepared in advance and then reheated when needed. As for pizzas, the menu doesn't include the classic ones, such as diavola, margherita, and marinara. Upon request, however, we were served the ones I wanted. However, the lack of listing on the menu obviously creates some drawbacks: first, there's no way to know the price in advance; second, there's no precise list of ingredients. This last aspect, in particular, I find "critical": in fact, the marinara, in addition to the usual tomato base, had a "green sauce," a sauce of parsley, garlic, and anchovies. To my knowledge, parsley is not listed among the ingredients (even in its variations) of a marinara. That said, one of the pizzas was ordered with a Margherita base and prosciutto, but it was delivered to the table without it. Sorry, but we won't be returning to this place.
