31/03/2026: The worst gastronomic experience on my trip to Rome. Loud music (?), impossible to talk, it must be to distract us from our deceived palates. What is the purpose of music in a restaurant? Nobody goes to listen to music in a restaurant, they go to enjoy a cultural experience, with years of wisdom in doing things well and serving well. A bland, tasteless saltimbocca, floating in an uncharacteristic water, with a dessert spoon of mashed potatoes and two pieces of green beans. A glass of red wine, bottled ahead of time. 'This' was classified as a Travellers' Choice on some platform. This only means the number of pseudo-experts in gastronomy who had the misfortune of entering this establishment that considers itself a restaurant. Finally, frequented by families who consider a restaurant to be a playground. Completely insane. Here is my warning. After reading the manager's response, I think he got the group he's referring to wrong. I don't know what he's talking about!

21/03/2026: Tocco Ferro is a wonderful restaurant we went to while visiting family in the Trionfale neighborhood of Rome. There were six of us at dinner and all of the food was exceptional. The seafood was amazing. The owners were very gracious and welcoming and made us feel quite at home. While the restaurant is a little off the beaten path with a bit of construction currently, it is definitely worth the effort to find this gem!

10/06/2026: The food is excellent! We had baked gnocchi, eggplant parmigiana, pesto pasta and tiramisu. Very tasty, made with all fresh ingredients. There was a queue and we had to wait about 30 mins to get in the restaurant. The restaurant is small and it’s self service. There was a little pressure to eat food and leave soon because of the waiting customers outside.

25/05/2026: The tartare and marrow appetizer was spectacular, followed by the meat, which was very good. I also tried the desserts, which were delicious. I highly recommend it! Parking is in the small square in front of the restaurant.

09/06/2026: We went to this seafood restaurant last night and had a wonderful time, truly a discovery. The staff was incredibly welcoming, polite, and friendly. When you combine good food and kindness, success is guaranteed. We'll be back very soon! ❤️

08/06/2026: A refined atmosphere, friendly, smiling, and helpful staff; beautifully presented, high-quality fish dishes; tender, flavorful cuts of meat. Prices are reasonable for the freshness of the food. We'll definitely be back.

10/06/2026: Excellent cuisine and one of the most comprehensive wine lists in Italy. Excellent staff, special praise to Mr. Rocco for his competence and friendliness, and to the owner, Mrs. Tina, the true boss of the "house." It gets better every time I return, it's a pleasure.

29/05/2026: Even if it were just for their whiskies, this restaurant would be worth spending an evening at. Then there are the dishes, each one better than the last. The staff is extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Recommended.

10/06/2026: Very good food. Excellent service. Lemon chicken is surprisingly refreshing. The braised pork was good and new. The spring roll was so-so. Chicken corn egg soup was very good. Cantonese fried rice with ham and egg was good.

29/05/2026: Absolutely amazing service and incredible food!! The sweet and sour chicken, flower roll & chicken and pepper dumplings were delicious. The service was so delightful. Would definitely come here again!!

27/03/2026: I've been frequenting this restaurant for several years and have seen the quality and attention to detail grow over time. The ingredients are top-notch, the fish is incredibly fresh and expertly cooked. All this is complemented by a casual yet welcoming atmosphere, and the service is attentive and professional. The owner's friendliness, who manages the dining room and kitchen with great ease, is the icing on the cake, making me want to return. I highly recommend the fish in general, and especially the spaghetti with shelled clams, which I find absolutely sublime. Another highlight is the exceptional wine selection, which demonstrates the meticulous care with which the restaurant is run.

13/06/2026: I visited here on my holiday, the day was hot, we walked a lot, we got very hungry. I was impressed by the kitchen, it was very tasty, we ordered many dishes, and the wine, which turned out to be very tasty, white and red. We will definitely come back. Thank you to them for the good vibes.

12/06/2026: Our negative experience is in contrast to several other recent reviews. Two dined - one ordered filet and other ordered veal filet with red wine reduction. Was surprised that the two menu items were meat only - no sides which were available at extra cost. Both ordered cooked medium. First filet arrived burned on bottom - second was fine ( beef was substituted since they had run out of veal) but the sauce seemed to be overly thickened with an agent that made it 'gloppy' rather than a simple reduction. Salad arrived plain - needed to request oil & vinegar. Pasta arrived butter only - needed to request parmesan ( at an Italian restaurant for pasta ? ). Service was not great. Ex bottled water was delivered but not opened and poured. Venue itself is quaint. Bottom line - there are many other places you might consider first.

13/05/2026: Anyone who loves seafood cannot miss this restaurant. Its simple, clean atmosphere and extraordinary service are complemented by the friendliness of the owner and waiters. In addition to the menu, the owner is also able to describe the daily specials in great detail, making your mouth water. The raw fish appetizer is splendid and varied, including various types of cuttlefish and calamari, presented in attractive and elegant dishes (see photo). The first courses are exceptional (it's worth it when they serve the squid ink pasta, but not only that). There's also a vast assortment of second courses. Homemade desserts are also included. I highly recommend it.

14/01/2026: I've always had a great time at this place. The style is exactly what I like: very rustic and welcoming. The food is good and, above all, there's a huge selection.
