23/08/2024: An experience worth having. A family atmosphere with truly exquisite food, you can see that the ingredients are of high quality. Tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, potato gnocchi with ragù, gnoccacci with sheep sauce, lamb blanched, kebabs, baked potatoes, sautéed chicory etc etc and finally their famous donut. Nothing to complain about, fantastic flavours. We left Ostia specifically to try it and we will do it again often, given the splendid experience

31/08/2024: Friendly service, beautiful food, great atmosphere, and clearly a hot spot for all the locals. We visited this restaurant one night whilst on holiday and I think we were the only tourists in there, however we did not feel out of place. We arrived just before 7pm and received a lovely warm welcome. At this point there was only 1 other table in but the place soon started filling up and we could see why. My partner is a chef (sometimes hard to please) but he was absolutely delighted with every dish that we ordered! Homemade crisps, bruschetta, chicken teriyaki, spaghetti carbonara (a little on the salty side for my liking), a burger, tiramisu and apple crumble(one of the best crumbles I've ever tasted). 100% recommend visiting if you're in the area

22/08/2024: Perfect cuisine, everything we tried tasted great, home made, prepared with love. Lovely people, friendly atmosphere…we loved it here. We stayed in Rome for 4 nights,every evening we ate here, because it was so delicious every time!

27/08/2024: A lovely spot for a nice meal in Rome. My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner of carbonara (amazingly good!) at the recommendation of the waiter, who also suggested a wine pairing that was perfect. Staff was friendly and service was great. It was Saturday night and the restaurant was crowded (as to be expected, of course) but our table was right at the front of the entrance so we missed out on experiencing the ambiance we were hoping for. But overall, a great spot we would return to again, as the food exceeded expectations!

27/08/2024: I loved my entire dining experience at Poldo e Gianna Osteria. I just wish I could do it again! As a power wheelchair user travelling through Italy I am always checking accessibility. Google Maps indicated there was some steps so I emailed the restaurant to see if dining outside was an option. I had thought it would be easy for them to dismiss me and say they cannot accommodate me. It was a good start when they said it would not be an issue and to note my accessibility requirements when booking. When I turned up a lovely staff member said they had an easy table for me inside but there were some steps. Staff were so friendly and willing to lift up a very heavy wheelchair up a couple of steps. They then moved things around to make me comfortable inside. Food itself was amazing. The carbonara is simply out of this world and I still think about this! It is so rich and creamy but not sickening. The tiramisu is also really one of the best. Thank you for creating a memorable dining experience. It'll be one of my favourites. I could offer one suggestion it could be to perhaps purchase a small portable ramp so I could recommend all of my friends to dine in here as well!

23/08/2024: Yesterday we had ice cream, and they are wonderful. Creamy and artisanal. We had to wait in line but it's worth it.

20/08/2024: My mom and I traveled to multiple Italian cities on our trip and visited about 2-3 other gelaterias, but this one was #1. The flavors were of the highest quality and freshness, with perfectly sized portions. The smallest size was 3 euro for 2 flavors. I think my favorite had to be the mandarin. There were many unique flavors such as cacio e pepe and lemon cream with wild strawberries! We visited this spot at least 1x/day during our stay in Rome! It was even better knowing it was just a 5 min walk from our hotel.

18/08/2024: We were here for a wedding. Lovely place, great service, really quality food. Everything very clean, tidy and professional. I don't know about the rooms, I haven't stayed. Spectacular view... 💖

12/08/2024: We had our wedding reception at Villa Pocci. The location was stunning and the staff (especially Mirkeda!) were so helpful, attentive and communicative. The food was out of this world; incredible quality, so fresh, and even featured a fresh mozzarella bar. Our guests all stayed at the hotel and loved their luxurious rooms. The villa is easily accessible from Rome and the views of the sunset over the lake and Castel Gandolfo are incredible. Thank you Villa Pocci, we had the best wedding ever!!

07/08/2024: Perfect location, competent staff and welcoming environment

07/08/2024: I have been going to the Doria Center for more than a year now and I can no longer do without it! The rooms are always clean (which is not to be taken for granted, in fact), the trainers are very professional and competent and the girls at the desk are always kind and helpful, ready to solve any possible problem. Then what can I say, there is also a spa with a hydromassage which is worth the annual subscription for that alone! 😂 The courses are very varied, from holistic (postural yoga pilates which in my opinion are the best) to the most popular ones such as zumba, functional etc. to end with the more niche ones such as pole dancing. In short, there is something for all tastes. P.s. There is also the bistro that I tell you stop by. The chef cooks both typical Roman dishes and the more refined ones and upon request he prepares fit dishes which are obviously a turning point for those who train!

30/08/2024: Excellent ice cream, with dozens of different flavors. Friendly and welcoming staff. However, the place is too small.

26/08/2024: Excellent selection for fruit, less for creams which I found to be more classic flavors and less for gourmets. Good ice cream, with flavors very faithful to the taste they reflect. Prices ok, 3 flavors for 3 euros, just below average. I'll be back because I'm a fruit lover and it seems like what they do best in the area.

14/08/2024: Very good restaurant. We went last year by mistake and were very surprised (in a good way). Since then, we have been several times and we still love it. For us, their best dish is the tonarelli cacio e pepe... they are delicious; In fact, they are the best we have ever tried. Burrata di pomodori secchi is also a good option. 100% recommended

07/08/2024: I visited here on my first evening in Rome. I wanted somewhere simple where I could have some incredible pizza and this place fitted that bill exactly. First of all the lady serving is so sweet and friendly and made all the customers feel welcome. They have so many pizzas on offer and you can try a selection. They had many vegetarian pizzas and even three vegan types (second photo). They also have different types of suppli and I was excited to try for my first time and it certainly did not disappoint - so cheesy! They have a well stocked drinks fridge serving beer and soft drinks. I sat at the window and it was nice just watching the world happening outside.

21/06/2024: A sincere place where I felt at home and pampered. Alessio and his family are very welcoming and attentive to service. Excellent starter, first and second courses as well. For bitters, follow Alessio's advice!
