17/03/2024: I went back for the umpteenth time after taking the olives with detergent because they were served in a bowl that hadn't been washed well but even pieces of cling film cooked in the middle of the lasagna was a little too much. The kitchen staff's justification is truly laughable. They have lost bite and above all respect for customers. One could even die of suffocation. The counter staff is always exquisitely friendly. We won't go back again. Too disappointed.

03/03/2024: At the gates of Lariano along the main road there is this restaurant that I chose for a dinner out of town with a friend.
Very beautiful structure from the outside and very large and welcoming inside with two large rooms in which you can taste their delicious dishes... we ordered a steak (about 600g) and a slice obviously with MUSHROOMS, two side dishes, a portion of TRIPE ROMAN-STYLE (EXCELLENT) a salt and rosemary focaccia which at the end, having almost half of it left over, I asked the waitress (VERY KIND!!!) if it was possible to spread a bit of NUTELLA on it...others would have immediately said NO to possibly soak 2 desserts and another 10...15 euros to spend....while she, with a smile, IMMEDIATELY took the focaccia and brought it back with garnish!!!
I felt it was MANDATORY TO LEAVE HER A TIP!!!
In the end, with 1 liter of wine... water... 4 bitters and coffee we spent 75 euros... more than justified by portions and QUALITY ABOVE ALL. I will be back very soon

09/03/2024: Una bella trattoria al centro di Lariano. Grande varietà di primi, particolarmente buone le fettuccine ai funghi porcini. Molto buoni gli antipasti. In esposizione anche tagli di carne pregiata e salumi e formaggi locali. I prezzi nella norma. Ci tornerò per assaggiare altri piatti, vista la grande offerta.

23/12/2023: I go in and ask for a spritz at the register. Without appetizers, specifically, just the drink. They ask me 6 euros. A little expensive for a provincial bar, but oh well, my fault for not asking the price first. Meanwhile the bartender takes a glass and fills it TO THE BRIM with ice. I ask you please, in a formal manner, to remove all that ice, I would like to drink something. He replies: "Look, tell me how much you want us to do first." Okay, that's how it went tonight, never mind, but at least I can warn those who don't like being ripped off by the usual smart guys to stay away.

18/12/2023: Domenica siamo stati a pranzo da "Non solo pizza" a Lariano. Abbiamo scoperto un ottimo ristorante che fa pure la pizza, i cui proprietari sono gentilissimi, simpatici e cucinano molto bene. Hanno una varietà di primi e secondi veramente ottimi, con prezzi più che onesti. Assolutamente da consigliare a tutti

12/02/2024: I piatti abbondanti e ricchi hanno influito nel mettere 4 stelle anzichè tre. La cucina in effetti non propone cose elevatissime, ma offre piatti tipicamente tradizionali, come quelli che si mangiano a casa. Scettico sulla qualità dei funghi. Servizio un pò distante e distaccato ma comunque efficiente.
29/10/2023: Tornati dopo qualche anno in questo ristorante che conoscevamo, ci siamo ricreduti sulla qualità del cibo e la cortesia della proprietaria.
Ordinato fettuccine ai funghi porcini, niente da dire, le sorprese sono venute con Abbacchio alla brace e funghi in padella.
Arrivato l'abbacchio tutto ossa e grasso, chiamata la proprietaria per farlo presente, con arroganza a detto che quello era e che non poteva farci nulla, l'abbiamo fatto portare via senza assaggiarlo. I funghi, avevamo chiesto i cappelli dei porcini hanno portato solo gambi a fettine per non parlare della cicoria senza sapore, ma mangiata per fame.
Al momento del conto ho trovato uno scontrino di oltre 90 Euro con incluso l'abbacchio che non avevamo mangiato, chiesto spiegazione non me ne sono date e con una scrollata di spalle la proprietaria se ne è andata.
Spero che questa recensione sia di aiuto a chi voleva andarci a mangiare.
