Really excellent, it's scary to eat! I tried the cacio e pepe and fell in love with it. Spectacular and very fresh ingredients, exquisite recipes and authentic flavours.

I had one of the best pizza during my stay in rome in this restaurant, very good staff and service, food quality and quantity was also very high! I took pizza and pollo alla romana I felt this place did that really good! I recommend this place!

We dined here several times as our accomodation was only a few minutes walk away. The meals were always delicious and the service friendly and helpful to explain the dishes. Its in a busy area not far from Piazza Navona. Well worth visiting and has lots of 5 star reviews.

My wife and I had three dinners during a weekend extension in Rome following a Viking Ocean Cruise. Mastrociccia was our favorite. It has red checked table clothes and has a traditional vibe that I was looking for in a Roman osteria. My wife ordered the sausage pizza and I had the beef and potatoes. It was our favorite dinner during our trip to Rome this past November.

23/03/2024: I passed by this place a few days ago. The food is of good quality, a shame about the first course, spaghetti with sea urchins, which the chef didn't like very well. The staff is friendly and very welcoming I'll give it another chance!
07/03/2024: Excellent quality, impeccable service, fantastic location. Price perhaps a little high, perhaps I would add an extra appetizer to the tasting menu while keeping it the same.

29/02/2024: Recommended by local friends, I chose this historic restaurant to celebrate my birthday... Mr. Luigi was professional, helpful and very kind. He organized everything excellently, with an amazing, tasty menu full of local and seasonal products and surprises from the chef! Everything was genuine, delicious appetizers, first courses homemade and seasoned very well, Ottonese stew that melted in your mouth, desserts to try... Hospitality, service and helpfulness made everything pleasant and unique. We'll be back as soon as possible to taste other products and also the famous pizza! Photos not taken because everything was "brushed" immediately ;-)
