28/10/2025: I've been living in the area for about a year, just a few meters from the Tor Tre Teste bakery (WOW), but listen, listen, the white pizza from this bakery is almost perfect! At peak times you can find a bit of a line, but as soon as you step in, your sight and smell are undoubtedly rewarded. Pizzas, desserts, and bread are all good/excellent, the staff knows what they're doing, it's a bakery worth traveling a few kilometers for. The products are crafted to perfection, and your palate will thank you!

We started with an impeccable cooked and raw seafood appetizer, meticulously prepared and rich in authentic flavors. The oysters, incredibly fresh and of superb quality, were a true delight. It was all accompanied by a light, fragrant local white wine that perfectly complemented the dishes. For our first course, we chose gnocchi with gorgonzola, creamy, balanced, and truly irresistible—a seemingly simple dish, but executed with great mastery. For our second course, an exceptional salt-baked sea bass: perfectly cooked, precisely cut, and tender, flavorful meat. A dish that captures all the freshness of the sea and the chef's expertise. Heartfelt applause goes to the chef, who showcases each ingredient with balance and sensitivity, and to the owners, who kindly granted us a welcome discount. The value for money is truly exceptional: top-quality dishes at more than fair prices. The service was impeccable. We were looked after by Severina and Loredana, the latter possessing rare professionalism and sophistication: attentive, smiling, helpful, and endowed with a natural elegance that enhances the entire experience. In my opinion, Loredana deserves to work in Michelin-starred establishments. The family-run business is clearly evident, with a warm, welcoming, and authentic atmosphere that makes guests feel at home, despite the high-end setting. In short, Il Grecale is a true gem in Anzio: excellent cuisine, impeccable service, a family atmosphere, and a value for money that's hard to beat. Sincere compliments to the entire staff—and especially the chef—for making our dinner an unforgettable evening. 🌊🍷✨

23/11/2025: Best Bombe in the area, friendly and professional. Also worth trying is the pastiera. Excellent choice for a quick lunch. Recently renovated, large covered space with tables and wheelchair access.

11/10/2025: We know this pastry shop because we occasionally come here on summer evenings for their donuts and fried stuffed bombe, which are a true delight. They've also recently opened a deli service. They offer three or four first courses, a few second courses, and a few side dishes: simple yet authentic dishes prepared with love. So we decided to stop for a quick lunch and the food was delicious. Spaghetti with clams or clams, caprese salad, grilled vegetables, French fries, and fried cod. Everything was delicious, accompanied by friendly, punctual, precise, and courteous service. The business is family-run, and we felt right at home here. The quality/price ratio is top-notch. It was a pleasant discovery: sometimes it doesn't take much to achieve a good result.

21/10/2025: It's near my house. I go there almost every Sunday for breakfast. Everything is fresh and delicious. The staff is very kind and attentive. If you like Sicilian cannoli, I recommend trying it. Also, the mini cannoli with Scantelli cream.

07/12/2025: Driven by my Spanish girlfriend's desire to try a scampi cream risotto, we chose this restaurant in Anzio. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. The risotto was disappointing: the rice was still hard, the creaminess was almost nonexistent, and the dish overall lacked authentic flavor. For €20, I would have expected higher quality. The cooked appetizer was decent, but the presence of some fish bones in one dish further compromised the experience, putting us off ordering more. I didn't try the other dishes, which certainly deserved better, but based on what I ate, I wouldn't return. It's a shame, because I expected a higher standard from Anzio.
