21/07/2026: We were there as a family and wanted to eat focaccia. What a find!!! A little gem that deserves to be known: excellent focaccia and the owner was wonderful! French tourists, stop here...it's simply fantastic!!

21/05/2026: My family and I visited Marcolino Pane e Vino and enjoyed a delightful evening of authentic Roman cuisine. Excellent, flavorful dishes prepared with great care, respecting tradition, in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. Special praise goes to Giada, who was truly brilliant: she managed and served a small, fully-filled room with about 20 seats with professionalism, kindness, and great attention, all by herself, without ever losing her smile and attentiveness. A very positive experience, definitely worth repeating.

20/07/2026: The olive oil that comes out with the bread is super good. I had the steak of cow and it was delicious. The ravioli sauce is incredible. The atmosphere is perfect, has fans, and the owner (i believe) served us. He was delightful and spoke english with us and played music catered for us. We went for lunch and there weren't many people inside so it was calm. The food also came out fast. Overall 10/10 would come again.

20/07/2026: I come here every time I travel to Rome for work. Antonio, the waiter, is always super kind and helpful. The food is quality and reasonably priced. Very fresh raw fish, always a pleasure.

17/07/2026: The best and kindest service I’ve ever seen, our server really made us happy with his generous kindness, making us feel like he’s not excited for the money we’re leaving but for having the opportunity to have us in his restaurant. While there are some small imperfections due to the restaurant seeming short-staffed, our experience wasn’t altered at all and the food brought to us was absolutely perfect in any way. My fiancées Quattro formaggi pizza was the best we have ever eaten and my bowl of potatoes, meat, lots of different cheeses, pastas and lots of love was absolutely perfect. We’re very lucky for the other restaurants in the area being full because we got to enjoy and support this awesome family business. Totally recommend!!!

01/08/2026: Great bar. Very welcoming and open to locals and tourists alike. The bartender spoke English very well so made the whole experience very nice for someone who doesn't speak Italian. The drinks are very really well priced. Good drinks and I didn't get a hangover. The space is beautiful. I went in a heatwave and it was so cool. The bar has plenty of games which were amazing. Beer pong was available for free and foosball only for 1 euro. It felt like we were welcomed into someone's home. I would definitely come again! Big recommendation for anyone.

13/06/2026: The most authentic food and the greatest service. Simona and her family have created a beautiful dining atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The restaurant is so beautifully decorated, we highly recommend to anyone visiting Roma.

20/05/2026: Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls is absolutely worth visiting. First, there are barely any people here. Really almost no crowds. Second, it does not have all the barriers, chairs, and crowd control setup you see in many other famous churches in Rome, so you can actually enjoy the space quietly. What also makes this basilica special is that, unlike many famous churches in Rome, its origins go back to the 5th century. Even though it was destroyed in 1823, it was rebuilt almost exactly the same way. You can really feel the process of how the Romans transformed their architectural style into a Christian church. It is a bit far from the main tourist area, maybe around ten something minutes by taxi, but definitely very worth it.

13/06/2026: I visited here on my holiday, the day was hot, we walked a lot, we got very hungry. I was impressed by the kitchen, it was very tasty, we ordered many dishes, and the wine, which turned out to be very tasty, white and red. We will definitely come back. Thank you to them for the good vibes.

12/06/2026: Our negative experience is in contrast to several other recent reviews. Two dined - one ordered filet and other ordered veal filet with red wine reduction. Was surprised that the two menu items were meat only - no sides which were available at extra cost. Both ordered cooked medium. First filet arrived burned on bottom - second was fine ( beef was substituted since they had run out of veal) but the sauce seemed to be overly thickened with an agent that made it 'gloppy' rather than a simple reduction. Salad arrived plain - needed to request oil & vinegar. Pasta arrived butter only - needed to request parmesan ( at an Italian restaurant for pasta ? ). Service was not great. Ex bottled water was delivered but not opened and poured. Venue itself is quaint. Bottom line - there are many other places you might consider first.

27/07/2026: We went here for pizza, and also several times for fresh bread and focaccia during our stay in the Cipro area. Excellent, artisanal food at a good price. Bonci is a block away and gets all the hype - but we tended to choose Voglia Di Pane during our stay. YMMV.

14/07/2026: Great place Had breakfast here during a trip to Rome. Great pastries, ready meals, pizza, coffee. You can have both breakfast and lunch. This place also made it hard to go home. The staff is very friendly, speaks excellent English and is always ready to give advice when you don't know what to eat.
