But we had a great time.
07/06/2026: The atmosphere is always clean and well-kept. I've been here three or four times in about 10 years, and Apicio never misses a beat. Even after COVID, the place remains vibrant and well-managed. Good and quick service, good-quality food, decent portions, and excellent beers. Perhaps a little above average for a village pub, prices are a bit above average, but considering the unwavering attention of Apicio and his staff, I'd say I'd happily pay a euro more than average for a sandwich.
Overall, a highly recommended place for an evening with friends or your significant other (as in my case) without any unpleasant surprises or the victim of poor management.
So long live Apicio! I hope to find him always smiling like last night.

The location might be a little inconvenient if you don't live nearby, and let's just say the place doesn't exactly resemble a Japanese restaurant.

The location is refined and meticulously maintained, with a counter at the entrance offering six guests the opportunity to share a sushi dinner experience. Alessandro is truly knowledgeable, discreet, and skilled in his unique fish preparation. The menu follows a progression of delicate flavors leading to stronger, more robust fish. The quality of the ingredients is sublime. Twenty courses of pure pleasure.

The girl at the counter is friendly, and the coffee and pastries are delicious. Recommended.

05/08/2025: I've been going there almost every day for quite some time. Nothing to complain about when it comes to the food preparation. Compared to other bars in the area, however, some of the staff seem so superior that they make you feel out of place. I don't think I'll be back.
