My favorite bookstore in Rome, wonderful staff, great books, even for kids! If you're passing through the city center, it's a must-visit (even if you're not).

I didn't try the pub, just the bookstore: I loved the selection of books, which were very unique and niche. I also really appreciated the illustrated children's book section, which wasn't the usual "commercial" selection. Be careful, you could spend hours browsing!

A very nice bookstore with the option of drinking on site. Extremely well-stocked, especially with independent or lesser-known publishers. I also really appreciated the graphic novel section. The bar, quite well-stocked, has a very friendly and accommodating bartender. Perfect for aperitifs and book launches. Truly a must-see in Rome.

My favorite bookstore, not to mention the wonderful pub in the basement with music, cocktails, and excellent beer. The star of the moment is the Lambrate Imperial Ghisa. They sometimes have live music. The young butler is multilingual. Highly recommended!!!

We sat on the terrace to enjoy an aperitif and it took us a while to find the spot… but what's inside is the last thing you'd expect. A comfortable place to browse the literature or opt for a limoncello or an Aperol while enjoying the warmth of Rome's streets.

STRADA Hamburgeria Gourmet

16/05/2026: A splendid restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The service is excellent. The food is fantastic value for money; any pasta or pizza you order is a sure thing.
08/05/2026: Very good and not too expensive. A small meal for three: pizza, risotto, and pasta carbonara. The only downside: no children's menu :-( but the service was friendly and did their best to speak Franglais.

20/01/2026: For being not too far from the center, and for being a steakhouse—not so common in Rome—this was fantastic. The tomahawk steak is more than enough for one person, and the ribs are too. The tomahawk was cooked to perfection and truly filling. The price wasn't a big surprise. Two main courses and a soft drink for 35 euros is a steal in terms of price and quality; I felt like I was getting a bit of a discount. We tourists are used to paying 50 euros for one meal. It's definitely worth doing some research and finding places to eat and pay like a local. Congratulations, everything was delicious, we'll be back!
22/12/2025: Spectacular porchetta sandwich, Tina Cipollari doesn't understand anything...
