Great find. Even in the tourist centre of Rome it is possible to find little gems like this place. The book shop itself is wonderful and then there is a great selection of beers and wines. The staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about both the bookers and beers available. Lovely place.l and well worth a visit

Amazing place! Very good atmosphere, limoncello, aperols and other drinks are really good! Snacks are yumm, especially olives! Staff is super friendly and helping! Really recommend this place for visit in the evening while exploring Rome!

I love this place. Davide in the bar is so genuine, kind, funny, and taught me and my friends a lot about beer and Italy using google translate. It’s such a fun chill place, you can make poems using word magnets, they have instruments, they play good music, it’s super well decorated. It’s so quirky. Upstairs is an amazinggg bookstore with a great selection, the English books are across the street. There are non alcoholic options (interesting juices). Love love the vibe and the people here.

A hidden gem! We wish we had found this place earlier in our trip. The drinks were great, good value and a lovely atmosphere to sip on spritz. The service was exceptional and free snacks were very appreciated. We loved this place.

01/06/2026: Il Falchetto has only been around since 1916. In Roman ageing it is a relatively new restaurant. Our waiter has spent a miserly 29 years keeping patrons happy! Somehow, given the short lifespan of Il Falchetto, it has found its rhythm - relaxed and reliable. The classic puntarelle antipasto was crisp and well dressed with a subtle anchovy and garlic combination. The curled chicory leaves soaked in the anchovy and garlic emulsion made for a great digestive starter. We followed this with lamb chops served with cicoria ripassata which is always a good pairing. Well worth a visit.
