20/07/2026: Nestled in a winding narrow cobblestone street close to a lively wine bar, with the cooks gathered at the entrance, it was tempting not to walk inside this small windowless restaurant. But Lucifero was a delight, and we’re glad we did. The truffle and duck fat gnocchi was our favourite dish. The hosts were very friendly.

17/08/2026: I knew the shop on Via del Governo Vecchio. I thought it was gone, but I'm rediscovering this place. Where is the food really good? And the cured meats are top-quality. The cheeses are also top-quality. The service is efficient and good, and the prices are reasonable. After all, I've eaten there. At the one by the Trevi Fountain.

01/07/2026: Really enjoyed our meal in this lovely restaurant. The waiter made us feel very welcome and offered options outside of the menu to suit our children...my son had the meatballs with tomato sauce instead of the listed carbonara. We also had delicious burgers and sea bass. Definitely worth the 20 min walk from our hotel.

15/03/2026: A very small place in the heart of Monti, but the poke is really good and there's a nice variety to choose from. The only drawback is that there's practically no seating, so if you want to eat there, you'll have to make do. The price is a bit higher than other poke places, but overall it's worth it.
21/01/2026: I went there with a friend of mine, and after overcoming the awkwardness of who should speak and how, given that the place is tiny (but really cute), we finally ordered. The girls who served us were super sweet. The poke itself isn't great, but I have to say that the bag, the box, and the cutlery are all perfectly Instagrammable.
Maybe next time I'll try it with other ingredients.

03/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery in the heart of Rome. We were enchanted by the quality of the offerings and the welcoming atmosphere.
The mixed platter was a true revelation for the palate, especially the incredible variety of cured meats, cheeses, and pickles served in those delightful little ceramic bowls. Everything was incredibly fresh and presented with great care. We particularly appreciated the excellent glass of red wine, the perfect accompaniment to the meal.
An experience I highly recommend to anyone seeking authentic and genuine flavors. We will definitely be back to try other specialties.

13/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery in Piazza della Liberazione. It's rare to find such a refined place in Palestrina, where every course seems like a small masterpiece of presentation.
We were enchanted by the attention to detail, like the precisely placed lime slice on the gyoza. The fried shrimp was perfect, crispy and light, accompanied by an excellent sauce that harmoniously complemented the dish.
Everything we tasted was incredibly fresh and served with great attention. We will definitely be back soon to try other items on the menu.
15/07/2026: The place is really cute, with a lovely atmosphere in one of the squares in Palestrina's historic center. It's spotlessly clean and refined. We're not talking about affordability, but rather quality and fresh fish. The combinations are excellent, with predominantly lemon notes, creating a fresh flavor, and the spicy flavors are well-balanced.
If you're looking for a pleasant evening, especially outdoors in the summer, I highly recommend it. The various bao buns are also excellent!

11/08/2026: I visited this restaurant on my first day in Rome. The tomato pasta I ordered was delicious, with a very rich flavor. I also ordered the hunter's stewed chicken, which was excellent. The Catalan marinated cod was just average. Overall, the food was very good, and the waitresses were very patient. I would definitely go back.
07/08/2026: Typical Roman osteria... warm welcome. Bruschettone with bacon and sautéed chicory, very tasty. Saltimbocca alla romana with a side of potatoes, a carbonara with water and a 1/2 liter Frascati coffee offered. There were two of us for a total of 54 euros well spent. I would gladly return. A special mention to the girl who welcomed us... excellent, friendly and capable.

08/08/2026: We were lucky enough to get a table for 2 on a Saturday night! The food was fantastic! Delicious! After a month in Italy I finally had a meal worth writing home about!
The service was genuine… which isn’t easy to find in Italy!!

08/08/2026: An amazing dinner of bruschetta, carbonara and tiramisu. Service was perfect without being over the top. One of the best meals I’ve had in my 4 week trip to Italy. Enjoy the well deserved Summer break guys !!
