The dishes were tailored to our preferences, the service was impeccable, and the food itself was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The restaurant is clean, the decor is well-thought-out, and the atmosphere among the staff is fantastic. The best restaurant of my entire week-long stay in Rome. You can tell the owner puts his heart into his business. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting the Vatican, and even if you’re not, it’s still worth stopping by Osteria

17/04/2026: Nice ice cream, but not of the kind that deserves to be praised, as far as I'm concerned. Small portion too. Service was slow. So okay if you're passing through, but not exactly worth a detour.

16/04/2026: I stopped by Carla's out of curiosity and word of mouth. A fantastic experience. One of the best gelatos I've ever tasted. You can really taste the flavor, the aroma, the scents of the origins of the products used...only top-quality stuff... If you're in Rome, absolutely stop by CAPRICCIO DI CARLA... It's worth it...

02/06/2026: Small breakfast bar. The coffee was very good, especially the pistachio croissant. The lady who took your money before you ordered was a bit rude, but I imagine it was because she was older and we didn't understand each other very well. The place is a bit small but cozy.

01/06/2026: This cafe was recommended for a local breakfast, but I stopped by to buy some bread for a snack. The pain au chocolat is 1.6 euros and has a soft, buttery flavor. It is so charming and delicious!

01/06/2026: Il Falchetto has only been around since 1916. In Roman ageing it is a relatively new restaurant. Our waiter has spent a miserly 29 years keeping patrons happy! Somehow, given the short lifespan of Il Falchetto, it has found its rhythm - relaxed and reliable. The classic puntarelle antipasto was crisp and well dressed with a subtle anchovy and garlic combination. The curled chicory leaves soaked in the anchovy and garlic emulsion made for a great digestive starter. We followed this with lamb chops served with cicoria ripassata which is always a good pairing. Well worth a visit.

12/12/2025: I just had dinner with my family. The pizzas were spectacular, the service incredible, the music fantastic and very tasteful, and the price was amazing but not outrageous. I will definitely return when I'm back in Rome! Thank you so much for the service and even a complimentary limoncello!

11/12/2025: Excellent pinsa, light in texture even if enriched with cheesy toppings (I chose the gricia). The place has a small outdoor area, the staff is friendly, a great lunch break. I would go back in a heartbeat.

25/04/2026: Great place! A must-visit for any Brazilian who wants to eat one of the best carbonara and tiramisu in Rome. A typical Roman trattoria, family-run, with Manu and Alessandro taking care of the place! Wonderful people who speak Portuguese and are super attentive. Alessandro was very kind in explaining each of the dishes and recommending the best ones on the menu. We left satisfied, with recommendations for Rome, good conversations, and very happy to meet people who really like our country! Congratulations on the excellent service!! 🇧🇷🇮🇹

05/05/2026: We arrived spontaneously without a reservation, and although the restaurant was fully booked, they managed to get us a table. The food was a 10/10 and by far the best we had in six days in Rome. It tasted fantastic and was beautifully presented. The service was also very attentive, and the courtyard is a lovely place to relax. I highly recommend eating here.

20/06/2026: peanut allergies beware‼️‼️….(nothing personal against Chakra though!). i went in to sit down and check out the menu — little did i know they serve a lot of peanuts. i sat at the table (arms resting on the edge of the table) for all of 3 or so minutes before deciding to leave, and later found my wrist covered in hives. so if you have a nasty peanut allergy like me, this is not your spot!!

13/10/2025: It was actually better than I expected! I tried the hazelnut and stracciatella flavors, and they were really good. It’s definitely a nice spot, though not the best gelato I’ve had in Rome.

14/06/2026: We went for our anniversary, and Mr. Massimo treated us with kid gloves as if it were an exclusive dinner. Starting with the appetizers, he brought us amazing tastings, each one better than the last, followed by generous first courses, and finally a sampling of dessert. Truly exquisite. I recommend it if you want to spend a pleasant evening and eat good fish.
