31/03/2026: The worst gastronomic experience on my trip to Rome. Loud music (?), impossible to talk, it must be to distract us from our deceived palates. What is the purpose of music in a restaurant? Nobody goes to listen to music in a restaurant, they go to enjoy a cultural experience, with years of wisdom in doing things well and serving well. A bland, tasteless saltimbocca, floating in an uncharacteristic water, with a dessert spoon of mashed potatoes and two pieces of green beans. A glass of red wine, bottled ahead of time. 'This' was classified as a Travellers' Choice on some platform. This only means the number of pseudo-experts in gastronomy who had the misfortune of entering this establishment that considers itself a restaurant. Finally, frequented by families who consider a restaurant to be a playground. Completely insane. Here is my warning. After reading the manager's response, I think he got the group he's referring to wrong. I don't know what he's talking about!

21/03/2026: Tocco Ferro is a wonderful restaurant we went to while visiting family in the Trionfale neighborhood of Rome. There were six of us at dinner and all of the food was exceptional. The seafood was amazing. The owners were very gracious and welcoming and made us feel quite at home. While the restaurant is a little off the beaten path with a bit of construction currently, it is definitely worth the effort to find this gem!

16/05/2026: We ordered the lasagna, which was great, and the ravioli, which was also very tasty, but it only had 3 small squares of filled pasta. I'm always intrigued by why the ravioli portions are so small. So, here's my rating: 3 stars, 1 for each ravioli.

15/05/2026: Spectacular! The pasta is incredible. The service is attentive, fast, and friendly. The price is a bit high, but the products are high quality.

17/04/2026: Nice ice cream, but not of the kind that deserves to be praised, as far as I'm concerned. Small portion too. Service was slow. So okay if you're passing through, but not exactly worth a detour.

16/04/2026: I stopped by Carla's out of curiosity and word of mouth. A fantastic experience. One of the best gelatos I've ever tasted. You can really taste the flavor, the aroma, the scents of the origins of the products used...only top-quality stuff... If you're in Rome, absolutely stop by CAPRICCIO DI CARLA... It's worth it...

16/05/2026: A splendid restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The service is excellent. The food is fantastic value for money; any pasta or pizza you order is a sure thing.

16/05/2026: A welcoming place with efficient and fast staff. A variety of options, including classic, modern, and gourmet fast food. For me, who's picky, the quality of the food isn't up to par; cocktails, wines, and beers are okay; the welcome and service are very good. Reasonable price/quality ratio, generous portions!

11/05/2026: A favorite place! A small signature cuisine restaurant run by the chef and his dining room partner. Fair prices, always interesting and, above all, never heavy. I always recommend it to all my friends on vacation in Rome! 💙

12/12/2025: I just had dinner with my family. The pizzas were spectacular, the service incredible, the music fantastic and very tasteful, and the price was amazing but not outrageous. I will definitely return when I'm back in Rome! Thank you so much for the service and even a complimentary limoncello!

11/12/2025: Excellent pinsa, light in texture even if enriched with cheesy toppings (I chose the gricia). The place has a small outdoor area, the staff is friendly, a great lunch break. I would go back in a heartbeat.

12/05/2026: Still great Food after coming to this Family owned and loved restaurant for 25 years. Mamma is the lioness. A real roman restaurant for Real Romans. Both lunch and dinner all italians. More like a club than a restaurant. Beautiful ,clean rooms. Discreet, Spacious and relaxed and generous. Service very nice. Not easy to find. Best Rome restaurants are like hidden gems. Great value too.

04/05/2026: Lovely old palazzo dining room. Authentic Italian restaurant and cuisine. Great service from Claudio who was very attentive and accommodating and helped us make good choices. Dishes were simple with subtle flavors. We had the Catalan shrimp salad which was amazing so was the thyme crusted sea bass. The apple tart was delicious and they gave us complimentary Vinsanto with cookies. All and all a great lazy lunch. Highly recommend!

13/10/2025: It was actually better than I expected! I tried the hazelnut and stracciatella flavors, and they were really good. It’s definitely a nice spot, though not the best gelato I’ve had in Rome.

03/04/2026: Amazing spot for a meal especially if you looking for gluten free options, nearly all dishes can be made gluten free including the Tiramisu. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! Will definitely be back.
