I've been going to this restaurant since I was 2 years old and it's never disappointed me! The food and quality are excellent, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options in addition to the classic meat and chicken options. The owner is very attentive and has always welcomed me and my family with a smile and such kindness! I hope to return soon. 💚💛❤️🇪🇹

I brought my grandmother here a while ago because she was born in Asmara. When she saw the restaurant, she was moved, and when she tasted the dishes of her childhood, she couldn't stop smiling. Thank you, everything was delicious and the hospitality was superb!!

Hospitality at it’s peak 🤌. (Mr. Yosef) I was craving for Quanta ferfer, and i got it with the great taste. Thanks you Asmara Restaurant.

The staff were very welcoming. After being tortured by Italian food, I finally felt a bit better here. The food was decent, and the portions were generous. If you're unsure what to eat, you might want to give this a try.

Tocco Ferro

21/03/2026: Tocco Ferro is a wonderful restaurant we went to while visiting family in the Trionfale neighborhood of Rome. There were six of us at dinner and all of the food was exceptional. The seafood was amazing. The owners were very gracious and welcoming and made us feel quite at home. While the restaurant is a little off the beaten path with a bit of construction currently, it is definitely worth the effort to find this gem!
21/03/2026: Most wonderful restaurant dining experience. Chef Andra stopped by to tell us her specials for the evening, and we ordered most of those- and it was incredible! 3 minute walk from the Vatican museum. Sadly hidden due to some construction on the street. Absolutely best meal we had in a week in Italy. Best antipasti: zucchini flowers stuffed with shrimp. Best pasta special - with house made fettuccine. Best secondi - the special for the night. A tuna tataki. Best tiramisu, made to order. Always special to get to talk with the chef at a restaurant of this caliber, and just so nice to get to tell her how wonderful the meal was.
